Bad shooting day for both teams. Stephen Graham had the best game of his season yesterday. He's done a decent job in the starting role. Favors needs to adjust his footwork and body when in the paint to avoid those offensive fouls. He tends to have a charge or two a game because of that, which doesn't help his picking up fouls quickly.

10 players in uniform today and likely tomorrow. 5 first quarter turnovers. We got off to a slow start, down 7-0, but we've knocked down our jumpers and the defense has been impressive under the basket.

For some reason, I read the thread title and got excited for a split second, thinking "Iverson vs. Kobe!" Turner had the best game of his rookie year against a poor defense, so it should be interesting to see how he performs two nights later on a bigger stage.

Farmar isn't expected to play today due to a knee injury. Based on the last three games, I'd say being able to play quality basketball in the final four minutes of the first half and the beginning of the second half is a good sign.

Fesenko is having a pretty rough year at the line. 30 points from Matthews, 27 from Aldridge, and a 20-rebound game for Camby.

And the streak is snapped at 90... 90 wins in between two losses against Stanford. UConn never led in the game.

Nets getting frustrated with Denver's demands?
Teletopez replied to Dash's topic in Brooklyn Nets Team Forum
The Nets' frustration with Denver could date back to when a deal was almost completed before the season. I recall reading a report then saying that when the Nets would agree to the Nuggets' demands, they would take a step back and ask for more. -
Gortat Calls Out Team for Poor Defense
Teletopez replied to Teletopez's topic in Phoenix Suns Team Forum
He probably is thrilled about getting a bigger role, but there is still reason to be unhappy over your club allowing 123 points. You could argue that he might have gone too far with the comments, but what he said could have a positive effect on the team moving forward. -

I was wondering the same thing, but we haven't heard about the Yankees' interest in Soria at this point, so I don't know what they have in mind. I'd expect us to bring him over as a setup man and eventually our closer, because I don't think it's a good idea to give up prospects in exchange for someone whose role you want to change, especially when the Yanks have the option of doing something similar with Chamberlain.

Hilburn saluted the crowd, and somehow the referees found it to be unsportsmanlike conduct... pushed K-State back 15 yards on the PAT. Leave it to the officials to ruin an incredible game.

NY Daily News Now the questions arise, who would the Yankees be willing to part with to complete a deal, and how much will Kansas City demand, after we saw what they wanted for Greinke? There should be no reason that Montero's name comes up on our part.

Joel Anthony shoots just over 60% from the stripe and has made all four of his FT attempts in the final minute.

New Jersey at Oklahoma City
Teletopez replied to Real Deal's topic in Oklahoma City Thunder Team Forum
Third straight game in which we've had a promising first quarter and eventually collapsed in the second. The final seconds of the first half summarized the evident holes in our defense. After Harris drove through the open lane for a layup with 6.8 seconds left, Westbrook took the ball from coast-to-coast with our defense chasing after him, and five seconds after the inbound, he slammed it home. There were plenty of times when we paid no attention to the Thunder cutting to the basket, allowing them to put together a nice highlight reel. -
This was one of those games where the snow led to a very low attendance, leading to seat upgrades for everyone. I planned on getting last-minute tickets with that in mind, but I had enough trouble getting into my house yesterday afternoon. We played smart basketball on the offensive end up until about halfway through the second quarter. Dwight was kept on the bench for quite some time. Orlando continued to hit their shots, though, and eventually, Jersey's shots just weren't falling. Howard woke up, worked his way to scores on offense, and made himself a defensive presence.

If Miami wins this, they cap off their best December in franchise history at 15-1.

1) Who are the top ten most valuable prospects in the Yankees organization? 2) Logan, Feliciano, Marte: Who is/are the LOOGY(s), who is/are the standard reliever(s)? 3) What does "You Us We Now" mean? 4) What is your best package for Melo in which there is limited disruption of the chemistry? 5) What are your expectations for Mark Prior? 6) Which current big-leaguers played on the same field as you during your baseball days? 7) Members of the Red Sox organization that you like? 8) Should Mike Mussina be a HOFer? 9) Do you think Pettitte will retire? Project the rotation with/without him. 10) Chan Ho Park.

Wow, seems like a huge mess for the Kings right now. Westphal complemented his team and stayed positive during his press conference, but things seemed a bit odd when he started answering the questions.

ESPN Attendance Report Would bringing over a big name or two improve this? Of course. Our attendance wasn't bad in the VC days. But even then, we had advertisements for our playoff tickets on NBA.com. The Knicks have had excellent attendance through disastrous years, and Brooklyn can do the same thing for us.

The Nets were shooting over 55% at the end of the first quarter. On the other end, the Hornets were shooting over 75%.
