Loved the "overrated" chants when Griffin was at the line. Wish Humphries would've gotten under his skin like he usually does.

That was a wild game. Clippers looked pretty off offensively in bunches, which helped out during the Nets' droughts. Lopez played like an absolute beast. His defense has gotten notably better, taking into consideration his lack of speed. Thus far, he is the one Net who deserves an All-Star appearance. Thrilled to see JJ knocking down shots, both catch-and-shoot and off the dribble. D-Will was awful. Not sure what's been up, but other than his chemistry with Brook, he's been hurting us on several occasions. Humphries severely lacks basketball IQ. Had no idea what to do with the ball in his hands on a crucial possession down the stretch (probably the most frustrating player to watch on offense). Avery proceeded to sub in Evans, who has done wonders for us. Glad to see that we didn't fall apart in the third and instead came storming back into the game. May be the first time this year that happened.

Good game, refs. That was shameful. Nah, but the Nets are going to have to grow through this. They showed a lot more than I expected, but it was a bummer to have died out at the end.

Alright, so we didn't implode, but we really made things harder for ourselves. Got ourselves the open looks, just didn't knock down shots.

Nice of D-Will to take advantage of the matchup with Morris over the final few minutes. Now for the Nets' favorite part of the game: the third quarter.

I'm pretty sure all Avery needed to do in that timeout was tell the Nets to play like they care, because the first three minutes were us killing ourselves.

Well that turned out to be much more of a battle than expected. Four games over .500 for the first time since the end of the 2005-06 season.
