15-2 run by Dallas in the final 4:30 of regulation, and we're headed to OT.
-
The Suns basically used the same penetration play we were using the first half against us in the second half. There were two rough stretches in the third quarter for us. We allowed a 13-0 start to open up the quarter, and when we were closing in on the lead, we lost control again with a few sloppy plays. Our offensive efforts in keeping up were great, but Phoenix kept finding open looks around our defense. Harris didn't have a great game, but T-Will was outstanding in the PG role. There were a couple other solid performances as well. The "Izod Center Flashback" today was the unbelievable 2OT 161-157 loss to Phoenix a few seasons back. Even though it was a loss, it was one of my all-time favorite games. The Kidd-Nash battle was unforgettable.

I see. Well Chan Ho had an important role in Philly, so I just hope he fits in well in our setup and is effective. Robertson was amazing last year, and he didn't have enough appearances to draw much attention, so he could be big for us this year. Marte has a lot up his sleeve, and I'm interested in seeing what Logan brings to the table as well.

Van Gundy, Izzo Could Be Candidates For Nets
Teletopez replied to Sportsguy9695's topic in Brooklyn Nets Team Forum
Link Pitino, Kryzewski, Wright, and Izzo have all used similar responses. -
I still think Hughes has to prove that he can handle a starting role. But yes, over time, I'd like to see both Hughes and Joba in a rotation. The exception to that would be if they are apart of the plans to cover for when Rivera retires. As for your setup of the bullpen, I think that Aceves is easily the best for long relief. He's capable of cruising through two or three innings of out of the 'pen. Robertson has potential to be an eighth inning reliever, but Girardi and Eiland probably want to see him get comfortable in a seventh inning role first. Marte pitched extremely well in the 2009 postseason. Still, the Yankees should just make sure that he's consistent enough over an extended period of time for the lead lefty role, because there's also Logan and Ring. Joba and Park are the two guys I see the Yankees using in the eighth inning to start the season.

Chan Ho Park seems like the best choice for the eighth inning role. He has pitched 6 scoreless innings this month with 7 K's and 4 hits allowed. Both Royce Ring and Boone Logan have been pitching very well, so those two, along with Marte, should give us some good lefty options from the 'pen. I'm disappointed that Gaudin was released (old news), and I still think it would have been best for him or Mitre to be our fifth starter. Hughes and Joba both seem to be more comfortable out of the bullpen. Of course, they don't have to worry about pitch count so much and they can throw all the heat they have, which can go up to 96 or 97.

Mark Jackson, Jeff Van Gundy, Avery Johnson, Mike Fratello, John Loyer, Jay Wright, Rick Pitino, Tom Izzo and Mike Kryzewski. From that group, the first four have been and still are the most discussed candidates for the open head coaching spot this offseason, the fifth is likely to stay as an assistant, and the last four have rejected any idea of coming to Jersey. Money is not much of an obstacle now with Prokhorov, so who should the Nets go after from what seem to be realistic possibilities? Feel free to throw in more names.

Just out of curiosity, why is it basically a guarantee that John Wall would be going first over Evan Turner? I haven't watched a whole lot of college ball, but I haven't observed anything that creates a significant barrier between the two players.

No Robin Lopez for Phoenix tonight. The Nets defense has been unpredictable, and plenty of teams have been unpredictable against the Nets, but chances are that the Nets are going to need to be on a roll from the field throughout in order to keep up.

Well there's the podcast for analysis videos, and the building blocks are added to that whenever the hosts find time. It is true that the amount of attention the channel seems to be getting is limited, but even with that... 1) I hope that the uploads on the account are used by members on here whenever they need to link to a video in one of their posts. The library is almost two years old now, so there's plenty that can be found. 2) it's not only about the amount of subscribers. If someone is looking up a highlight on YouTube, and they come across one of our videos, they can see the link in the description, which leads them here. I've tried throwing in links of a certain forum on this message board, and I've noticed quite a few guests viewing that forum shortly after. So I guess there's more to it than just the originality and a great deal of attention.

Lower back spasms. We shot under 40%, but having only 4 turnovers made a huge difference. We forced 16 San Antonio TO's, which included Duncan throwing the ball away in one of San Antonio's last possessions of the game.

http://i43.tinypic.com/28t9vk0.jpg We lost in the championship. We were leading at the half, and we eventually went on a drought. One of our players got ejected towards the end with back-to-back T's. I didn't take any shots in Thursday's or Friday's games. I look forward to next year, when I should get more touches.

Wow, this is incredible. I just miss the hardwood background, but I love the layout and banners. Amazing job, once again.

The skid against San Antonio is over! We get our first win against the Spurs since the 2003 NBA Finals, ending a 14-game regular season skid. It's also the first time that a team with less than 10 wins beats a team with more than 40 wins since April of 1994. It's amazing what Lopez showed head-to-head against Duncan tonight. He was outstanding on both ends of the floor.

First Game of 2010: Yankees @ Red Sox
Teletopez replied to Teletopez's topic in Baseball Gameday Discussion
I've been updating the countdown since it was around 120 days, haha. I absolutely cannot wait. It's odd that we're starting and ending the season at Fenway, and we have 14 out of 21 games on the road in April. But I like it in the way that we have more home games later in the season, which is when we usually start heating up. -

I wouldn't rule it out. I believe he made those comments in response to rumors about interest from Philly and Jersey. And coaches wouldn't hint at anything this early anyway.
