  3. Nope, he's fine. He had one of his best games in a while last Wednesday against Philly. But he and Kiki basically don't get along well (which I can understand to an extent with CD-R's winning attitude), so you never know how much playing time he'll get each game.
  4. I was really expecting #8 here with our performance in Toronto, the Raptors' struggles, and Jersey's couple days of rest. But I guess Bosh's frustrations drove Toronto more than Lopez's drove the Nets. There have consistently been three or four great individual performances every game, which is still something to be happy about when you look ahead to its importance in signing free agents.
  5. Montero, Romine, Curtis, and Gorecki were all assigned to AA. A lot of our position players have found their ways at the plate this month. The pitching has been very good as well. Hughes and Burnett's outings looked rough on paper, but they both had great performances. I believe the ticket prices have dropped a lot this season, so it will be nice to see seats behind the plate and dugouts to fill up once again.

I posted a video of Obama making his bracket picks a year ago, and I got a message yesterday about an ESPN complaint and this being my first of three warnings. This channel reaching three strikes would be a nightmare. Both of my Ebay items are still at 0 bids with just a couple days left. If anyone happens to be interested in either of these two games, please take a look. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=260568486798&ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=260568462490&ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT We're 15 days away from Opening Day!
  11. 1) What's worse, Al Davis in the Raiders FO or Don Nelson as the Warriors' head coach? 2) Who is the best sophomore in the NBA this year? 3) Which PS3 exclusives are your favorite? 4) Who would be the best realistic choice for the Nets coaching job next year? 5) If the Warriors drafted John Wall and the Nets asked for him, who would you want to receive? 6) ''''''''''''''''''''''' DeMarcus Cousins'''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''? 7) Who's the next Warriors player you hope to interview? 8) Do you think Tim Lincecum will deliver after signing a big-time deal that puts him under pressure to perform? 9) Who do you predict will win NL Cy Young? Who do you think wins the Halladay-Lincecum matchup? 10) Who would best fit the job for Warriors head coach?
  12. Great work, Yama. It's been an interesting road for Morrow, both on and off the court. Off the court, he went undrafted and signed with Golden State, having to prove himself. On the court, he has definitely opened eyes. Along the way to this point, he dealt with a death in his family, a shooting slump, and a knee injury. Despite all that, he seems to have found his way. As his minutes increase, he's been putting up impressive performances, with fairly consistent shooting and varied shot selection. http://i42.tinypic.com/2mi5ems.jpg
  13. Best of Tuesday's NBA Action DOTN: Hakim Warrick AOTN: Carlos Arroyo BOTN: JaVale McGee MOTN: Tyreke Evans SOTN: Jared Dudley Yankees-Red Sox Opening Day is now 18 days away. Spring Training stats and April stats are basically night and day. But it's still fun to hear about Nick Johnson launching pitches game after game, Burnett developing a changeup, Joba vs. Hughes vs. Gaudin vs. Aceves vs. Mitre for the fifth spot in the rotation, etc. The Nets have 3 games in April that clash with Yankee games on local coverage, and the channel that typically backs them up isn't taking care of those games this year. In other news, the NBA says that Prokhorov is on track for approval by the board of governors April 16.
  14. Carmelo had a good 3 seconds to dribble towards the corner and get a shot off that would have probably been much better than what he threw up right after getting the inbounds pass.
  15. Best of Monday's NBA Action BOTN: Jrue Holiday AOTN: Chuck Hayes DOTN: Andre Iguodala SOTN: Andre Iguodala MOTN: Deron Williams Aaron Brooks Beats Denver at the Buzzer If Jersey doesn't get the first pick, I wonder how much they'd be willing to trade for it. Harris could quite possibly be a piece in a deal. Then again, if Harris continues his hot streak into the offseason, the Nets might think twice about dealing him and they could try to use other pieces. Or they can just stick with whatever pick they have, if it's high enough to get some of the other gold in the draft. Yankees tickets are going on sale Friday. They start up in Boston in 19 days! https://www.getpersonas.com/en-US/persona/128365 If, by any chance, anyone is interested in Madden 09 or NBA 2K9, I put both of them up on Ebay. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=260568462490 http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=260568486798
  16. Well Yugo's comparing the chances of getting the first pick to not getting the first pick. Comparing our chances against any other individual team gives us the better chance, but against the rest of the NBA, the odds are 1:3.
  17. Lee's hot shooting is still present. We've jumped from having one consistent, reliable option in Lopez to having four, with Harris, Lopez, Lee, and T-Will. Hayes is also catching fire once again. Lopez tied his season-high with seven turnovers today, and the only other time he did it was November 2. He still put up 22 and 10. Our offense was definitely there tonight, but the defense allowed a 7-0 run at the wrong time, and we never came much closer from there.
  18. Just like if you say the Phillies are going to win three straight games and take the 2009 World Series, it's going to happen?
  19. Career night? If you look at Harris' last few games, you'll see that it's not a career night.
  20. Also, our 53 bench points tied our season-high. Hayes looks to be near back on track with the shooter we want him to be. Terrence Williams having a solid performance is no longer a surprise. Dooling chipped in with 15 points and was great with defensive pressure.
  21. Braun and Hanley should both be gone by the sixth pick. Maybe Miguel Cabrera?
  22. Last chance to get a road win against a Western Conference team. Our defense hasn't been effective for the most part on this road trip (not that it's ever really been effective under Kiki), so we can't afford to go cold for extended periods of time, or we're asking for another game-changing run.
