Welcome to my world of thoughts. I probably won't have much consistency with the subjects I post on in here. But regardless, enjoy... or don't enjoy, whichever you prefer.

The Nets have allowed major runs in all three games of this west-coast road trip. The Grizzlies went on a 23-4 run, the Mavericks on a 26-7 run, and the Thunder on an 18-2 run. Jersey made late-game comebacks in all three as well, but they all fell short.

As disappointing as the crash was, just about everyone saw it coming. It seems like whenever an elite team starts to show some life against the Jersey, the Nets collapse. A lot of credit goes to both Harris and T-Will for keeping the team close in the fourth quarter, even when Kidd and company were on fire. I hope Courtney Lee's hot shooting won't disappear. He was off to a hot start with the rest of the team, but suddenly, he was way off target with some of his attempts. We've still taken a step forward these last few games. Harris is showing very little of the struggles he had not too far back, and Terrence Williams continues to impress as his minutes increase. Hopefully, Lee can get back on track as well.

I still don't know whether I'll buy this, it could still turn out to be a success, especially if they incorporate PS Move into some of the big disc titles. I'm just disappointed that Sony didn't come up with a unique idea to counter Project Natal.

That's some great, great work, Brandon. Amazing job. Small correction for the Nets, Kiki is the GM as well as the coach.

Could they not come up with a better name than Playstation Move? I mean I understand they had to stick to the same sequence after PlayStation Home, PlayStation Eye, etc., but Move? Come on. And more importantly, you've got to be kidding me. Companies taking certain minor features from each other usually isn't such a big deal. But with this, there is hardly any originality. They may as well have announced this a couple months after the Wii. There is way too much in common between the two things. Sony was going uphill with the releases of MLB '10 the Show, Heavy Rain, and God of War III, and then they just came up with this idea. I definitely wanted them to respond to Project Natal, but they would have been better off not announcing anything for the time being if this was their "big thing." I'm not a huge fan of Project Natal or PS Move, but at least Natal is original.

http://www.ustream.tv/recorded/5344514 Basically, Sony announced the Playstation Move, which is a response to and a mix of the Wii and Project Natal. There were quite a few demos presented with different games. The full add-on is two identical controllers that are similar to Wii's, along with a PlayStation Eye. The pricing is planned to be under $100. I'm not too impressed by it, at least not yet.

Not a bad game at all. We obviously had the rough second quarter in which the game was blown open, and we may have made a mistake or two late, but our offense was present throughout, and our defense came alive in the second half. Lopez clearly had a tough game against Gasol, and he wasn't too strong off the glass or with scoring. But Harris and Lee both had incredible games yet again. Lee's hot shooting has not died down, and Harris is coming closer and closer to what he was last year. Meanwhile, Terrence Williams continues to make the most of his minutes, and he should shoot up the rookie rankings this week. Pretty good game for Boone in his start. He gave the team some support off the glass, which made the rebounding competition closer than it may have turned out.

Boone is starting tonight in Yi's absence.

Yeah, Kiki said a couple weeks ago that he wasn't attacking the basket like he did for a period of time because of back and shoulder pain. If he can come back and be the amazing Yi we saw for a while, it will be another great addition to some of the other improvements shown from the Nets roster as of late.

The funny part is that the Knicks knocked down a couple of long 2's with their foot on the line.

ESPN Playoffs are just under six weeks away.

The 0-18 is an NBA record for threes attempted without any makes. We now have four road wins. Four-game west-coast road trip next week with Memphis, Dallas, OKC, and Houston. The Nets showing these promising signs could not have come at a better time.

Parker left the game with a broken bone in his right hand.

We went on an 8-0 run right when it looked like the Knicks were going to come back. After a rough first ten minutes, the Nets were basically solid for the rest of the game. We set a new season-high for points in one game with 113, the previous high being 107. We hit 14 threes, 3 short of the franchise record in a single game. The Knicks were 0-18 from the arc. Harris' night was incredible. After piling up the assists last game, he put up 31 (13-21 shooting) tonight, with 13 in the third quarter. Lopez had to play a little less than usual with foul trouble, but he still finished with 18 and 11. You couldn't ask for much more from Lee in his return, 9-17 from the field and 5-7 from the arc for 25 points. The bench support was key. Terrence Williams only took 4 shots, but he had 7 assists and 11 boards, yet another game showing his improvement. He was a big part of the team's impressive ball movement. Hayes, who has had shooting struggles as of late, hit three 3's that were apart of the big second quarter. Humphries did a great job when Lopez was sitting. Harris has been contributing in one way or another, and you never know what it's going to be. Lee and T-Will have both started showing what we saw in them this past offseason. Lopez has been solid all year. Humphries and Dooling have been key to our bench, and Hayes has the talent to join that group. I'm actually anticipating watching upcoming games.

Eleventh time this year that we're going into the final 12 minutes with a lead. Harris had 13 points in the quarter. Lopez has four fouls, as does Gallinari.

Wow, the better signs at the end of the first quarter led to an incredible second quarter. The Nets outscored the Knicks 34-18 and turned a 10-point deficit into a 6-point lead. The Knicks led by as many as 16. Going into the third quarter, David Lee and Danilo both have 3 fouls, and Harris and Lopez did not pick up any more, so they're still at 2. Hayes is 3-4 from beyond the arc, and the Nets are 6-10 as a team. Yi's ankle is being X-rayed after he rolled his ankle, so he's out for the second half of the game. Hopefully, he's okay.

Lee is back today. Overall, that was a disappointing quarter. Lopez and Harris both hit two fouls, the defense seemed confused, and there were a number of mismatches that the Knicks were able to take advantage of. We closed it out well, though.

Okay, maybe not "era." Maybe a better comparison is the change from 14 to 16 NFL regular season games. There are way too many factors that play a role in lack of fairness. Yes, the Lions don't have the same chance as the Cowboys, but that's the case even with a salary cap.

Isn't that the case in all sports, though? And most of the time, benefiting from revenue is what makes the difference in amount spent, and I'm fine with that.

Yes, but the moves in the one year will still have an effect on the next few years, won't it?

Well think of it as a new era. It's not just the Superbowl team that takes a big jump. 32 teams are given the opportunity to rise, and it's a fight to see which team made the most of what they were given. You can't necessarily compare a 2010 NBA team to a '60s club, simply due to the fact that there's a difference in talent between the two times. Similar idea here.
