Agent: Crittenton did nothing wrong in alleged gun dispute
Teletopez replied to NJNJ's topic in Washington Wizards Team Forum
It's probably going to take a couple weeks before everything is clear because right now, it seems like there are fifty variations to the story, most of which I'd guess are solely from the media. Well now that Gilbert Arenas has spoken and says he tried to play a joke on Crittenton, we can confirm that he is whack. -
So once again, we're expecting Hayes to be back. Assuming he does finally step onto the court, Najera will be the only injured player on our roster.

What teams will struggle in the next decade?
Teletopez replied to ChosenOne's topic in General NBA Discussion
Well it's easier to make predictions after this upcoming offseason. We saw how many moves there were this past summer, and that's just a preview of how much action there's going to be after this season ends. -
I hope this was just a rare off-game for Yi. It was his first bad game since coming back from the injury, 2-13 from the field. James on whether the Nets record would scare away FA's:

C: Jorge Posada 1B: Tino/Tex 2B: Robinson Cano (Soriano close behind) SS: Derek Jeter 3B: Alex Rodriguez RF: Gary Sheffield (or Abreu) CF: Bernie Williams LF: Johnny Damon DH: Giambi/Matsui SP: Andy Pettitte SP: Mike Mussina SP: Roger Clemens SP: not sure SP: not sure RP: Tom Gordon CL: Mariano Rivera I started watching baseball in '03, so I'm not so sure about 1B. Plus, I'm probably forgetting some obvious choices at SP.

Hayes is cleared to play in this one. Jay-Z might be sitting courtside... (Knicks and Nets give me high fives). I'm sure the Nets surprised themselves last game. It's not just that the Knicks had a bad day. We grabbed boards, attacked the basket, and the bench support was great. I'm looking for similar signs in this game.

40 points off the bench and counting. 24 points in the fourth quarter and OT and counting. Atlanta's missed so many key 3's and they're still attempting them.

Nate saves the game in a situation where he wants to prove himself. The Knicks could not have played better defense on that last possession. They killed 6 seconds by using the foul to give, and then they double-teamed Joe Johnson, forcing Marvin Williams to heave up a 30-footer.

Keyon Dooling had a great game, and that's shown in the box score. He scored more points last night than our whole bench did against OKC. But outside of the box score, he did a great job of controlling the floor, and he's showing what we saw from him last year. Thanks to him, we were able to give Harris frequent breathers.

Stackhouse also made some comments a couple years ago about how hard it was to play under Byron Scott. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kOhLgApNrgM This was from last month. Maybe things have happened off the court along with this that have caused Nate to stay on the bench.

Oh, snap! We never get that many comments that quickly, haha. I should upload videos right after they happen more often . Edit: Nevermind, I was looking at the wrong video.

Wow, we don't get to see games like these too often. First quarter, we hung in there. Second quarter, we took over. Third quarter, we built on our lead. Fourth quarter, we maintained control. Great bounce-back game for B-Lo. He was outstanding off the glass, and you have to consider he was matching up against David Lee. He and Yi were amazing with contesting shots, and they combined for 6 blocked shots. The Nets have consistently been using a play where a guard gives it ahead to Lopez, drives to the basket, gets the handoff from Brook, and usually gets an easy bucket (it makes more sense when you see it over and over again). That helped with our dominating in the paint. We also ended the Knicks streak of eight straight games where they held their opponent to less than 100 points. We did reach the mark of 20 straight games where we're out-rebounded today, but I don't consider it a big deal since it was 45-43 today.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mZHW6NtTeVY http://i45.tinypic.com/bhndye.jpg And the referees are taught to take a look at the clock and make sure it is running and normal as they go up the court every possession. Careless mistake then.

CD-R is good to go, we have 13 players healthy!

Oklahoma City @ Washington
Teletopez replied to alcstarheel's topic in Washington Wizards Team Forum
Make that five straight 30-point games for Durant. He's 12-17 from the field following a 15-22 performance last night. -
We're still waiting for CD-R to come back, but Hayes might make his return. It's been a while since the Knicks were easy favorites over the Nets.

I'm not the least bit surprised about our rebounding problems. It looks like everyone on the team has butterfingers. The is because Lopez fled from the media. Hopefully, he bounces back.
