  1. http://i47.tinypic.com/33e4pck.jpg We're at the start of the 2010 season! MLB.com
  2. Things got interesting after Denver's 16 unanswered points, but Indianapolis managed to drain down the clock and end the Broncos' run. First time in Manning's career that he throws three picks and still wins the game. Tough game. Orton threw a pick in the red zone, Denver failed on all three fourth down conversion attempts, and they failed on the two-point conversion attempt that would have gotten them to within 3.
  3. Most points we've allowed since we played that 2OT game against Phoenix and lost 151-147. Frank really was making a difference on defense because we've allowed 100+ points in 6 of our last 7.
  4. Harris has had health issues for about two years, and he hasn't been so sharp up to this point this season. He may pick it up and return to the all-star player he was last year, but if he doesn't, the Nets could very well trade him away. There were rumors about us dealing him this past season.
  5. I know it's not going to be easy, but if the fans don't vote him in, the coaches should. The Nets' record probably has an effect on him being sixth and not second.
  6. So we do have Dooling and Simmons available for today, but now CDR and Battie are both out.
  7. Two challenges on the road: Atlanta tomorrow and Cleveland Tuesday. So many injuries, once again . Dooling and Simmons could both be out. Najera might make his return. We could be back down to ten guys.
  8. The Nets have had someone in the all-star game for the last ten years, if I'm not mistaken. If we're sending anyone in this year, it's Lopez. I think he should be second among centers, but our record is definitely making a difference, unfortunately. If the fans don't vote him in, I really hope he gets named by the coaches.
  9. Iannazzone I really hope these are just temporary rookie problems. Hopefully, Williams can pick it up on the court. He looked very promising in preseason and earlier this season, and it will be a shame to see him still struggling down the road after all his hard work this offseason.
  10. Yeah, several sources have said he's going to be considered if Vinny Del Negro is fired. Ever since Frank left the Nets, we have put up some ugly defensive games, so he really did make a difference for us on defense. Considering that, I think Frank can send the Bulls' defense uphill. But we can say the Nets obviously struggled because of their offense, which was last in the league, and that was a result of Frank saying he was only coaching defense. Chicago is 28th in the league in offense, so Frank is going to need to shift some more attention to the offense in Chicago if he wants to get the job and send the team in a winning direction.
  11. Tough loss for Washington. Even though Arenas missed two big FT's, he had a big game. Fourth career triple-double for him.
  12. If people wish to share their names, they can just enter it for their sidebar. Thread closed.
  13. OKC led by 14 at halftime, but Memphis outscored them 28-10 in the third. Then the Thunder scored 36 points in the fourth for the win. Big game for Durant.
  14. Wow, San Antonio shot almost 60% in the game. They were outscored by Charlotte 29-13 in the third quarter, and then they outscored them 32-14 in the fourth. 22 points in 26 minutes for Ginobili, including 4-5 from the arc.
  15. In all likelihood, the deal should go down once things are finished up with Brooklyn.
  16. Roy Hibbert put up big numbers just like the last time we played Indiana. We allowed Hansbrough to put up 21 points in 24 minutes. Once again, our high man in the assist column had 3 assists, Devin Harris. We had 12 assists total as a team to the Pacers' 22. We had 41 rebounds to Indiana's 55. This is probably one of the worst shooting games Lopez has had this year (8-23). He had trouble matching up with Hibbert, just like last time. I hate how we look so strong in the first few minutes, and before you know it, we're trailing our opponents for most of the way.
  17. I totally agree with everything you say, but I just can't help but think of the few cases where a team trades a vital prospect away, and the prospect thrives, such as in the Hanley deal.
  18. We can't beat a Biedrins-less Warriors or a Granger-less Pacers. We don't keep the game close even after Alston made some remarks that could have gotten the team going.
  19. Link The fact that that could have happened scares me...
  20. It still bothers me that we let go of Austin Jackson just like that. Everyone was so excited to see him and Jesus Montero come up to the big leagues for us for so long. Fans weren't sure if it was worth giving away Jackson in a Halladay trade, and before it could even happen, we gave him away in a Granderson trade. I mean I love bringing over Granderson, but Jackson was probably our second or third best prospect. He could really end up doing some damage in Detroit.
  21. We also had 12 assists total, and Courtney Lee led the way with 3 of them. Full Article
  22. We shot off to a 26-15 lead, and it was pretty much downhill from there on. We nearly came back, but once again, we let Golden State slip away. There were WAY too many turnovers. I saw four careless passes in about five minutes. We also took our time getting back on the defensive end. These mistakes were two of the biggest contributions to the loss. We're still looking for back-to-back wins.
  23. I thought he wouldn't block the trade if it was a deal with the Angels, Yankees, Red Sox, or Phils, no?
