  1. Oh, wonderful. And when you find out, do write an in-depth analysis of the game so I can learn things I wasn't aware of before.
  2. I'm talking about bandwagoners that post as much as you and Matt. How often is it that a Yankee bandwagoner posting arrogant comments in this forum? I have no problem with Yankee haters. It's natural with any good team. That's why there's a fine line between ECN's posts, which are worth reading, and the others in this topic.
  3. One other thing I find funny: there aren't any Yankee bandwagoners on this message board, only Yankee haters. When you guys talk about how it's impossible to argue with bandwagoners because they always refer to the past, you should be aware of how it's impossible to argue with the haters because they have the same amount of knowledge as the bandwagoners.
  4. Usually, jokes aren't funny the second time, so obviously they won't be funny the 80th.
  5. Well if you're referring to the score of the series, it's 2-1 Yankees. Isn't it funny how when the Yankees win the first five playoff games, you geniuses who honestly seem to know nothing about baseball don't say anything, but when the Yankees lose one game, "my tv out." Oh and let me guess the response to this: "u mad?"
  6. Actually, before anyone creates a clip, everyone who wants to send a clip, post here ASAP so I can get a count of who's sending me videos. Then, I can tell the time limit per clip.
  7. If you want to be apart of the video, PM me a download link for the video or ask me for my e-mail address. We have about a week to do this. Oh, and keep it concise, and try to be unique.
  8. Kendrick's homer was the first given up by Yankee pitching this postseason. Four runs on four HR's, the ball's carrying.
  9. I think they should incorporate pickoff throws into Pettitte's pitch count because it seems like he's thrown to first more than to the plate .
  10. Haha, that's exactly why we can't tune into the game any later than the first AB.
  11. We're at 496 videos on the OTR account, and I have an idea for the 500th video. We don't seem to get a lot of members through the YouTube account, so I was thinking that members could send a short clip talking about OTR, and we could combine all the clips into one video to get subscribers to register on the message board. If we are doing this, let's do it before the NBA season starts. Anyone interested?
  12. 4-0-1 . I'm just barely slipping away with wins. Can't wait for Gore to come back.
  13. Probably. The Angels might have wanted to bring him out of the bullpen against Boston. When you get extra rest, your velocity is above your average and you can obviously go a little longer than usual, but of course, they can't let him lose his sharpness.
  14. Not necessarily. CC had a solid ALCS outing, the first of his career, so he's not making the same mistakes he did in 2007.
  15. Well the series loss to Cleveland certainly wasn't a blowout matchup. It was a six-game battle, and two close games went the Cavaliers' way. I can recall some bad decisions by Carter, including a game-changing turnover that handed the game to Cleveland. My guess is that if RJ hadn't missed so much time, Carter wouldn't have assumed such a big role, and maybe the Nets would have been more of a threat.
  16. Back in September... Full Article The emphasis on defense continues... Full Article
  17. Oh, and the Angels caught a break with A-Rod never being tagged during the collision. A-Rod touched home plate without the glove ever touching him, and he was called out instead of scoring the run.
  18. The scorers correctly scored the popup as a base hit. Anyway, I already accounted for the dropped ball and the 3 errors. Again, there was an A-Rod sac fly and a Matsui RBI double, and neither were related to errors. The pickoff error allowed Melky to go into scoring position, but Jeter still had to get a base hit to score Melky, which he did. Even if Hunter came up cleanly with the ball, I don't think there was much of a chance of a play at the plate. So our offense still played a role in the game, it wasn't all Angels errors.
  19. Our offense scored 2 runs without any Angel errors and a third in which they took advantage of an error on a pickoff. They still needed Jeter to come through, which he did. Great, great pitching by CC. Eight innings thrown in weather where it's hard to throw what you want. Another great game for A-Rod, Damon's simulated game has really helped him get back on track, and we're looking very sharp despite four days off.
  20. I've entered my VIP Online Lobby code, watched the 2K Series history video (funny how Iverson was on the cover of the first 5 games), and tried an exhibition game. The only things I haven't done are open the Bryant figurine and poster. I'm finishing up my Draft Combine, and then I'll start the game.
  21. Reid says he got a hamburger flash drive in the mail . As for the items being out of stock, you need to keep looking at the messages on the home page. They have specific times when the items are restocked, and it usually takes around an hour for them to go out of stock again. There's been a couple bugs with the site, one of them being e-mailing invites. I think G-mail is filtering the invites.
  22. 1) You tweaked the scores, which threw everything off the last time you did this. 2) This is post-padding for a couple reasons. 1. All this accomplishes is finding out which fanbase is the largest, or in some cases, which members are the quickest to throw a team out of the game. 2. When you're posting only in this thread, it is post-padding. There's no discussion whatsoever. 3) Who are you to say that you were suspended because you're a Kings fan? You're fairly new to the site, and you clearly aren't aware that message board owners like to have contributors to the forums.
  23. I expect an unusual amount of T's and fines this year. The trouble with these new officials is getting greater and greater in preseason, and I wouldn't be surprised if there's a lot of frustrated teams and fans by the end of the season.
  24. Wow, it seems like every other Nets player has gotten hurt. Harris will be resting for one game just so he doesn't get injured again, Najera had to skip practice, Hayes it out for a week, and Yi is recovering from shoulder problems.
