do we really have to wait, we know that by 30 you wont have a job. i say we just take a roadtrip to norway, and try and rob a bank. either A: we rob the bank and have enough money to buy a place like that or B: we get arrested, and get to live there! win-win in my books

Kareem says NBA entry age should be 21
BlueDevil replied to The Regime's topic in General NBA Discussion
I read this on another post and thought it made perfect sense. they should do it like baseball, where the player has an option to go straight out of highschool, but if they decide to go to school they have to stay till their junior year. -
Tony Parker Has New York Max Money On Radar
BlueDevil replied to The Regime's topic in New York Knicks Team Forum
only the knicks would give him a max contract maybe raps too considering hes euro -
i think this could be one of those drafts with a lot of trading near the top, especially with all the pgs picked last year that are still on bad teams this year. Im definitely keeping my eye on the wolves, they would i think love to be in a position to wonder where to go, to pick Wall and trade someone or to take Turner. But they need to upgrade at the 2, and really i cant imagine them not taking wall if they could and trading away Rubio, especially with the amount of teams that have shown interest in him. if they can trade away Rubio in some sort of package for a quality 2 and 3, and still have Wall and Flynn, i think thats best case scenario for them.

Kevin Durant on Kobe: "He's probably the best ever."
BlueDevil replied to BeeZee's topic in Los Angeles Lakers Team Forum
i unfortunately have to agree with the above. BUT i still truly believe that Kobe can hit any shot within half court i wouldnt say the same about LeBron and I saw LeBrons half court shot, so please dont post that -
Why Does Joey Crawford Have a Job?
BlueDevil replied to The Artesticle's topic in General NBA Discussion
i just want to talk about the T's on Duncan. While Crawford may have felt Duncan was trying to one up him, by T'ing up Duncan, he allowed the Mavs to close the gap in that game, along with getting Duncan thrown out with a near tie game and the final quarter still left to be played. for laughing Now I see Eric is clearly trying to defend the ref, but the thing is no one cares if you're a good ref, you are trained to be a good ref. Its when theres calls like these that get a refs name out, usually Now it seems the arguement is becoming bad ref over bad calls, and you know what, all of those videos were bad calls, i really can't imagine defending any of them. But Crawford is clearly a good ref, he wouldnt have been around this long or in so many big games if he wasnt. -
this is a really interesting topic. Id take Kobe- all around knowledge and would be huge in crunch time Battier- unbelievable defense, great knowledge Allen- shooting, and how to pick your spots Kevin Love- think he has a very high IQ and as he grows older, his knack for rebounding and post play could make him a great coach Kidd- great passer and rebounder/defender at the guard position

Ray Allen Claims NBA Is 'A Lot Softer' Now
BlueDevil replied to The Regime's topic in Boston Celtics Team Forum
It was just a much better game back in the day. With all these rule changes that help out the guards, it becomes much easier for it to be a small mans game. Look at how the center position has deteriorated after all these rule changes, it hinders them from being effective. Allen is definitely right, the league is far softer now, id like to see some of the rule changes fixed to allow more physicality or I dont see LeBron not winning every MVP, especially with the way he (and other stars for everyone assuming this is just more LeBron bashing) get calls from the refs. Its a two way street imo, you give the offensive guy all the breaks for the most part, so defense is generally screwed over. -

[Completed] Best Dunker of All-Time?
BlueDevil replied to Real Deal's topic in General NBA Discussion
Dr. J. hes the guy that started it all imo. Without him we would be no where. and what he could do back then would STILL be better then what most people can throw down. VCs a close second though. -
villanova's been so far disappointing this tourney, would love to see them knocked out by st. marys. so far st. marys has been dominant.

hawks are a close 2nd, but i gotta give it to the Mavs. too many weapons and a very solid rotation.

Rondos as good as hes gonna get. Westbrook still has so much potential. Westbrook for sure, no doubt about it.
