Toronto Raptors All-Decade Team
BlueDevil replied to Built Ford Tough's topic in Toronto Raptors Team Forum
god i hate alvin williams back to the poll, i would say i would have to put Mo pete at SG and Carter at SF, JYD is NOT a small forward, great guy though. Kinda surprised Rose isnt there, but looking at it he was at the end of his career with the Raps. Just by looking at this list, its easy to see why the raps have struggled this decade. hopefully next decade will be better! -
Rondo- hes got all the tools and a league leader in steals Battier- hes the only one who can stop kobe Artest- hes the next closest to stopping kobe KG- hes a beast Dwight- see KG really i think these are relatively what everyone will be putting, honorable mentions to Kendrick Perkins, Chris Paul and Dwayne Wade

Payton: Chris Bosh Most Overrated Player In the NBA
BlueDevil replied to Doc's topic in Toronto Raptors Team Forum
If Bosh is as good as he is claimed to be, he should be able to get the Raps in a position to battle for a decent playoff seed for the past 3 or 4 years, something he hasnt done. Im sorry, but its the east, and if he is this superstar people claim he is, he should be able to do that. Instead, all he does is take jumpshots and plays brutal defense. When he jumps ship after this season, bargs will be moved to the 4, they will somehow get a center, and the raptors will still be screwed, but at least have a proper starting lineup to build on. its terrible being a pessimistic raps fan -
i like the fact that Evans gets rebounds, but i just feel that Rose will be an elite pointguard. The difference is that Evans can put up these points because look at his team! no one else is all that capable. Rose has a decent team, there just playing aweful. this one is really tough, but i gotta give it to Rose, i just think theres more to work with. Evans i feel is pretty much at his peek, although his jumpshot could still use work.

After his monumental 32 pt, 24 rebound game against the Nuggets, I've officially decided that i was wrong, and Zach Randolph is in fact a great pickup by the Grizzlies. he has been fairly solid all season, keeping the Grizzlies in games they usually squandered last season. With the emergence of Rudy Gay and OJ Mayo's continued growth, the Grizz look to be in a position to battle for a playoff spot, or at least a respectable record. Thoughts?

Christmas With Kobe Bryant, Featuring LeBron James and Shaq
BlueDevil replied to BlueDevil's topic in General NBA Discussion
couldnt agree more. I for one am sick of the NBA's love for LeBron, but nonetheless he will always be thrown in our face. Its time for the NBA to change things up a bit, like Melo against Kobe, the two best pure scorers in the game today (yes Melo is a far better scorer than LeBron) -
With the much anticipated battle of MVP’s, Christmas looks to be one of the best nights to catch a classic in the making. Surely when LeBron and Co. Head into the Staples Center, they can be sure to find an arena full of Christmas cheer. Just don’t be surprised if they find a lump of coal in their stockings too. Yes the epic “LeBron Vs. Kobe” matchup is the highlight of Christmas, right between watching “A Christmas Story” for the 500th time and seeing your parents pass out during the one time of year they drink. With Kobe showing the world he’s not human by scoring a season high 42 points with a broken finger in his shooting hand, this one’s surely to be a sign of things to come. This also marks the first time Shaq takes on Kobe since O’Neal became a Cavalier, hoping to complete his trifecta of winning rings with the three best players on the planet. The Lakers will be counting on their twin towers of Gasol and Bynum to patrol the paint, while Ron Artest will attempt to play the role of Scrooge on LeBron. It looks like the only thing that may hinder this game is timing. The 5pm eastern start time coincides directly with typical American Holiday meal times, which may cause a number of diehard fans to ruin Christmas by hogging their brand new 60 inch plasma, perfect size to see LeBron dunking on Fisher (just a guess, seems to be happening to Fisher a lot lately). The Cavs have done their best to put together a veteran team to help LeBron win a ring, while the Lakers will be looking to extend their winning streak on Christmas day and prove why their number one and favourites to repeat. With these two explosive talents, expect nothing less than a Christmas miracle (shot that is) to win this game. http://bleacherreport.com/articles/309521-christmas-with-kobe-featuring-lebron-and-shaq

BlueDevil replied to Built Ford Tough's topic in Toronto Raptors Team Forum
LOL so true. But Jacks been steppin up lately, and it never hurts to add SOME defence to the starting 5. Calderon is too save anyways, i like that Jack takes chances -
Surprising Teams In Each Conference? (So Far Of Course)
BlueDevil replied to MainEv3nt's topic in General NBA Discussion

Remember when Gay and Mayo had to be separated...
BlueDevil replied to La Bomba's topic in Memphis Grizzlies Team Forum
honestly i dont see Rudy Hay as a high ego player, i think he is an excellent 2nd option player who should have a long career in this league. -

Andre Iguodala Fullcourt Shot After the Buzzer
BlueDevil replied to Mr. Clutch's topic in NBA and College Basketball Media
Amazing... too bad it didnt count he had an amazing half that game -
these new skins are amazing, look very clean yet pop off the screen great job as always RD

Iguodala wont enter after getting robbed that year. if demar is for sure in, i doubt the others will be dwight, nate, and lebron, demar would deff be the odd man out i think well be seeing a demar, nate, brown, and one other, (not likely dwight or lebron) im sick of nate as well though, its impressive, but its been done. step aside and try and get the knicks to respectability.

been watching it, pretty hooked really funny show

Oden Likely Done For Season
BlueDevil replied to Legacy's topic in Portland Trail Blazers Team Forum
i dont really see him coming back from this. with all the injuries hes piled up (wrist, both knees) i think it might all just get to him, and he just wont develop properly. Best case senerio is he will get a job based on his size and how good he should have gotten, but will offer about 8pts and 8rbs. real shame, thought he would have panned out much better. Hope he proves me wrong. -
agreed with RD, I feel like im one of the few that have grown to like kobe, mostly after the Lakers dynasty broke up after shaq left. LeBron though is far to full of himself, whereas Kobe just tries to be the best ever. LeBron's antics as of late have shown just how full of himself he is, i would love nothing more than for him to never win an NBA title.

DeMar DeRozan Believes He Could Beat LeBron In Dunk Contest
BlueDevil replied to NJNJ's topic in Toronto Raptors Team Forum
i dunno i kind of like having lesser known players in the dunk contest, i think LeBron would bring too much hype that he would either not live up to or he would just be handed the crown. Frankly id rather have Demar, Shannon Brown, Will Bynum, and someone else (not dwight or nate)
