  1. Brandon Roy because they both give u more or less the same game, but Roy is a proven game WINNER, he can hit the shots that count down the stretch. This one is close though could go either way.
  2. Its a shame iverson left, cuz i think if there was a chance the Grizzlies couldve made playoffs, they could have used conley as tradebait, instead of having no choice but to stick with him now. I had high hopes for him coming through and developing, but it just doesnt look like it will pan out.
  3. good to hear its about time they started turning things around there.
  4. Dont see the point with Amir here, shoulda picked up a wing player
  5. it would be worth it to trade him as he will have somewhat high value. I just wonder if his style of play will work anywhere else, maybe New York?
  6. C- Dikembe Mutombo- Marcus Camby PF- Chris Andersen- Kenyon Martin SF-Carmelo Anthony- JR Smith SG- Alex English- Voshon Lenard PG- Earl Boykins- Nick Van Exel
  7. if the NFL is gonna fine him, they should just fine him a dollar. Then the NFL looks good, and Chad still got to have fun
  8. Considering the Raps are Canadas only team, the fans tend to hold a grudge, especially with Carter as he was and is a perenial allstar. I say wait even though i think he deserves to be honoured. It wouldnt be right for right now cuz he will be booed, no doubt about it. After he is retired, i say retire the jersey and honour him then. If the fans could let it go, then now would be best.
  9. Ramon Sessions could be an interesting choice here, especially considering he was picked 56th overall. He would help the Griz become a fastpaced team, and with Rudy Gay entering his first year, along with OJ coming in a year, would help make the Griz a team that could put 100pts on the board every night. I still think Conley will pan out, at least i hope so. But a point guard is deffinately thier priority.
  10. BFT has the best idea imo i think thatll work perfectly
  11. J Smooth by far. When Bibby came it allowed them to have a savvy playmaker to lead them, but Josh Smith needs to step up and become a top 5 PF, something he has the ability to do.
  12. Redd would be the better option imo, but both would be an upgrade over anthony parker. Redd would be able to space the floor with his deadly 3pt range, while Rip would crowd the mid range area.
  13. agreed i dont see them all of a sudden a 50 win team. Agent zero did look impressive though gotta give them that. Id say 45 max but really expecting like 38 and a 7th seed
  14. Bucks- Injuries always seems to come up with this team, and Redd will most likely be traded later in the season. Big time rebuilding. Kings- Downright aweful, how is Sean May starting?!
  15. Id stick with Horford its seems to have worked for them
  16. How in the world did Spencer Hawes lose the starting job to Sean Mays Anyone with info please explain.
  17. Raptors fans can’t help but look ahead in anticipation at what could be one of the finest Raptors squads assembled. On October 28, 2009, we shall see if all of Bryan Colangelo’s roster changes can mesh together to create a winning basketball team. The ACC will no doubt be packed for the arrival of the King, LeBron James, and his new bodyguard, Shaquille O’Neal. The Cavaliers were the best team in the NBA last year, but choked in the playoffs. They will be out to prove that last season was no fluke, and will be on their quest to “win a ring for the King” as Shaq puts it. This game will also mark the return of some old friends, as Jamario Moon and Anthony Parker are now sporting a different kind of red in Cleveland. Both bring a defensive presence that the Cavs were missing last year, and should help to limit the damage newly acquired Raptor Hedo Turkoglu should bring. The Raptors starting five of Bargnani, Bosh, Turkoglu, DeRozan, and Calderon should match up nicely with the Cavs, who counter with Shaq, Varejao, James, Parker, and Williams. While the Cavs should have the advantage, Shaq and Bargs will have trouble guarding each other, as will Williams and Calderon. Turkoglu will have different defenders thrown at him throughout the night, as will James. Parker and DeRozan will be looked at to provide tough defence, and hit the occasional open jumper. The Bosh/Varejao matchup is completely one-sided, but Varejao should put up a fight defensively. This game should come down to the production of the bench, something that Raptors fans have questioned in recent years. That is where Colangelo’s offseason acquisitions really come into play, as the bench is composed of entirely new players. Rasho Nesterovic, Jarrett Jack, Reggie Evans, Antoine Wright, and Marco Belinelli will be the main players off the bench for the Raps, and provide much of the defence the starters’ lack. Wright will be expected to play great D and hit some jumpers. Belinelli is a great three-point shooter who will provide instant offense, as well as the occasional careless mistake. Evans, Jack, and Rasho will be in there for toughness, defence, and experience, and should help guide the second unit. Cleveland’s bench is much thinner, with Zydrunas Ilgauskas, Daniel Gibson, Jamario Moon, and Delonte West being the only legitimate options coming in. All four of these players were starters in the past, however, and all have the experience and knowledge to be a factor in this game. In the end, for Raptors fans this game is not about a win or a loss. This game is a testament to the Raptor faithful, as well as franchise player Chris Bosh, that things have changed in Toronto. The Raptors will no longer be looked over, and should have a very successful year this upcoming season. Will they win the Championship? Very unlikely, but they will return to the playoffs in April, and that will make Raptors fans very happy. Brought to you by OTRbasketball.com
  18. thats honestly gonna be ur comback to that remark. The dunk was nice, but nothing special. Ive seen him throw down some dirty dunks.
  19. i wouldnt worry too much if i were the Celtics. They both need each other. Rondo needs to stay cuz he looks better as the 4th option. If he went elsewhere, he would be a 2nd option probably and would most likely see his numbers drop. Its the same as Ariza with Houston now. If that turns out well, maybe Rondo will have something. But most likely its in his best interest to stay.
  20. Greg Oden here no doubt. The sonics would love his size and defense here. But theyd be waiting another year cuz of his injury so they would probably win 5 games all year.
  21. What about Bellinelli, is he not gonna be a starter? If derozan can play solid D, i have no problem with him starting. the better defender between him and Wright should start imo.
  22. switch Gordon for Randolph and i think its good
  23. You honestly think that? Durant teamed with Roy would have been unbelievable because of Roys ability to set up his players. I dont see much that Oden can do that a handfull of other centers cant. My choice is Durant hands down
