  1. Third straight year we're going in with a 1.8% chance of getting into the top three. I would love to see the Bobcats or Raptors come out with the top pick.
  2. Gotcha. Moving up into the top 5 of the draft is a pipe dream but our best bet would be probably if the Kings stand pat at #5 or move back to #6 and then we packaged Lowry + 14th and 16th picks to Sacramento for their pick.
  3. No to the Lakers, we don't want Pau Gasol at the price of Lowry especially after Pau got another year older. Maybe Portland but they wouldn't be too high up on my radar, a deal with them would result in abundance of MORE assets (as if we didn't already have enough of those). That Portland deal would be awful. I'm so sick of adding all these assets that don't result into anything, if we get into the top 5 that would be great but otherwise this would be an easy no from the Houston side. Agreed on Drummond. It would all likely be all for naught but we really have no other choice if we continue to be a treadmill team.
  4. Maybe for the 8th pick assuming the Raptors don't move up. I don't see anything else that would make any sense for either side.
  5. http://blog.chron.com/ultimaterockets/2012/05/disgruntled-lowry-feels-its-his-time-to-move-on/ Sigh...the one time I felt we could actually sell high on one of our players and this happens. Lowry was gone either way though.
  6. As inactive as I have been lately, I would really hate to see this place go. I have been here since I was 15 years old since my sophomore year in high school and now am almost 21 and about to enter my third year in college. Crazy stuff, this board has been far and away the best forum I have ever posted on and will deeply be missed along with the community. Whether you decide to keep OTR going or not, thanks for everything RD.
  7. Orlando does it for sure but I wouldn't be so quick to trade Anthony Davis if I'm the Nets. The first overall pick alone for Dwight is more than fair. Why would the Nets include Brook Lopez as well?
  8. No chance unless Bynum is going New Jersey's way.
  9. Mike Breen needs to stop reminding me that the Lakers had 42 throws.
  10. I really have no idea, the whole thing was a cluster[expletive] with mixed reports. Ken Berger and Chris Mannix were bother reporting that the Nets and Rockets were the two main destinations for Dwight on the morning the deadline, and Jonathan Feigan from the Chronicle also later reported that negotiations between Houston and Orlando were intense. Also there is no way Clutch makes a report as insane as the Rockets all but winning the Dwight Howard chase unless he was absolutely positive it was true from the Rockets' perspective.
  11. Because we're stacked with assets, Houston was only missing a premiere young player that could complete any Rockets' offer for a superstar and the Magic were rumored to be thinking Kyle Lowry was that piece. Whatever Houston was offering, it was enough to nab Dwight until he decided to opt-in.
  12. I'm guessing the Lakers pulled out or something, isn't Jim Buss refusing to move Bynum? Either way I think I'll take Clutchfans over ESPN's word, there honestly isn't anyone more clued into the Rockets organization than Clutch. [expletive] I'm getting sick of this.
  13. http://rockets.clutchfans.net/2668/dwight-howard-houston-rockets/ What in the [expletive]?
  14. I actually think the chances of snatching Lin from New York are very good, the only way he resigns with them is if he takes the mini-MLE but the max he can receive is a full MLE from other teams. If Lin signs with the Raptors for the full MLE and the Knicks match then they would be doing so by going over a "hard cap penalty", which would completely [expletive] over their future. So the Knicks either need to convince Lin to take less or possibly destroy their team's future by retaining an above average point guard, the latter being something they'll have to think VERY hard about. Actually disagree about Dragic's price tag, again Lin can only get the MLE due to him earning a minimum contract last season and Dragic is coming off his rookie contract and and a spectacular end to the season. I can see him garnering about $8 million per year, maybe more if Portland and Toronto push it.
  15. I think he was a minor scout, probably had something to do with Patty Mills. https://twitter.com/#!/Jonathan_Feigen/statuses/202170703804506113
  16. If its that different than the books then I might go ahead an watch, I haven't been able to bring myself to watch beyond the first episode this season. I'm mainly just waiting to see the ending. BFT are you aware of the R + L = theory?
  17. What a night for Lebron, 16 points in the 4th quarter.
  18. Lol this Pacers offense is almost as bad as the Nuggets' from last night.
  19. Are you serious? No call on Hill getting mauled on that three point shot?
  20. Oh my goodness what a chasedown block from Wade. Why the hell didn't George pass it?
