  1. Love this move. Camby doesn't provide the potent scoring inside like Kaman would but Houston now has a solid defensive tandem with Dalembert/Camby.
  2. So the '09ers plus the Wolves' 2nd for Camby? Great move if true.
  3. Sam Amico ‏ @SamAmicoFSO Lakers "closing in" on trade for Michael Beasley, according to Western Conference GM.
  4. Cash actually holds some decent value with the new CBA because IIRC teams only get $3 million to use throughout the entire season. Depending on how much cash the Raptors pick up I could see them in the market for adding a 2nd round pick in the upcoming draft, possibly even a very late first rounder if they add something else to a deal. Just throwing that out there.
  5. Lakers looking to follow this up by picking up Beasley. That would likely require them to deal their other pick this year.
  6. Alex Kennedy saying the Lakers also dump Luke Walton and pick up Eyenga.
  7. Adrian Wojnarowski ‏ @WojYahooNBA Cleveland will get the Lakers 2012 first-round pick in the Ramon Sessions trade, league source tells Y! Brian Windhorst 1st reported deal. Marc Stein ‏ @ESPNSteinLine RT @NBAonESPN: Sources: Lakers get Ramon Sessions from Cavs. http://es.pn/z7kJSY
  8. This reeks of desperation from Nets management. The Nets are 5 games back of the 8th spot with 22 games to go, they're not completely out of the running but they got a rough road ahead of them. Risky move. Edit: Yeah I'm not watching the games until the deadline is over. By the way its a done deal:
  9. The pick the Nets are sending is their own with limited protection...
  10. Guessing the protected first is the Rockets pick. Great move for the Nets if this goes down.
  11. Adrian Wojnarowski ‏ @WojYahooNBA Portland and New Jersey are engaged in advanced talks on a deal that would send Gerald Wallace to the Nets, a league source tells Y! Done deal:
  12. Alex Kennedy ‏ @AlexKennedyNBA The Los Angeles Lakers and New Jersey Nets are the latest teams to pursue Jamal Crawford: http://tinyurl.com/87l2hde
  13. Marc Stein ‏ @ESPNSteinLine Two sources w/knowledge of Nets' thinking say Nets would reject Gasol-for-DWill offer IF Lakers make that pitch before 3 PM trade deadline Marc Stein ‏ @ESPNSteinLine Sources say Lakers already DID offer Gasol-centric package for D-Will in December and Nets turned it down. ESPN link: http://es.pn/xNt5kM
  14. Sam Amick ‏ @sam_amick Source confirms @SpearsNBAYahoo report: Indiana has acquired Leandro Barbosa for 2nd round pick. Anthony Carter likely going to Pacers too
  15. Adrian Wojnarowski ‏ @WojYahooNBA Several contenders chasing Ray Allen. Some offering a good young player, some offering 1st round pick. If Celts get both, they may move him.
  16. He needed to go, horrible coach and a bad fit with their two best players. Great news for Carmelo, Mike Woodson primarily runs an iso offense.
  17. Risky for the Warriors but could be worth it. This is a move clearly made to win next season, the Warriors can now tank the rest of the way and end up with a top draft in a top heavy draft. Draft someone like Bradley Beal or Jared Sullinger and then see where this team can go with a healthy Stephen Curry and Andrew Bogut plus Stephen Jackson/David Lee/Dorrell Wright. That said, the Warriors two best players are now both injury prone. I actually like this a lot from Milwaukee's end. Bogut hasn't played more than 70 games since 2008 and is now out for the rest of the regular season while the Bucks are in the midst of a playoff push (currently the 8th seed). Doesn't matter how poorly of a fit a Ellis/Jennings backcourt is, Ellis a fringe All-Star in this league and will always have plenty of value so long as he is healthy. If it doesn't work out then you can always deal Jennings or Ellis in the offseason but at the very least they get better in the short term. They also dump Stephen Jackson and pick up a decent prospect in Ekpe Udoh plus a serviceable center in Kwame Brown (not sure how much longer he is out). If the Bucks were to hang onto Bogut and he got hurt again next season then his value would have sunk big time.
