  1. 59th pick in the 2008 draft? Wow then again that draft was pretty deep. Dumars sees something, might be able to stick with the team for a stretch.
  2. PG - Magic Johnson SG - Michael Jordan SF - Larry Bird PF - Karl Malone C - Hakeem Olajuwon
  3. Good to hear, hopefully he will be able to get back to some of his 07-08 form. I've been leaning towards keeping him for the season anyways.
  4. PG: Ramon Sessions (3) SG: Brandon Roy (6) SF: Shane Battier (3) PF: Anthony Randolph (3) C: Al Jefferson (6) ------------------------ Joel Pryzbilla (2) Anthony Morrow (2) DJ Augustin (2) ------------------------ Adelman
  5. Digimon Transformers Recess Rugrats Hey Arnold Pokemon TMNT Spider Man Dragonball Z Scooby Doo All I can think of atm.
  6. Peace, great having him this past year and wish him the best.
  7. I agree, I can see them going as high as 40 wins.
  8. 1. Hutch 2. Ballorama (not sure if he still posts here) 3. Real Deal 4. Yugo 5. former RBS members (TNK, Warren, ECA, etc)
  9. Link About time we got one of draft picks signed, Chase should be next.
  10. Battier shot 34% (16-47) from the field and 27% (10-28) from long range during the Lakers series. You could argue that he spent too much of his energy guarding Kobe. Morey and Adelman promised Ariza that he would be the 'featured' player, you really think we're going to bench him? We brought Battier off the bench for a portion of last season and all was well.
  11. He can't even hit those baseline shots constantly anymore, some games he'll take 2 or 3 shots and come out with 0-4 points. His lack of offense is starting to catch up with him, which is why Ariza should be the one starting. Battier starting next to Ariza will be great together (a lot like Artest - Battier last year) but once Tracy comes back, Shane needs to take the back seat. He will still be getting 20 - 25 minutes a game so I really don't see the problem here.
  12. Good read, nice work. Kleiza is interesting but signing him would cause a logjam at the 3. Houston doesn't seem to be pursuing any free agents atm.
  13. No he doesn't, trust me Battier is one of my favorite players. Since the surgery Battier has lost a lot of offensive ability and lost a step defensively, he's a nice starter but the sixth man role fits him better. He brings too much to this team though (locker room, defensively), things you can't put a price on. Its tough to trade a guy like Battier unless you have overpay, which Pritchard won't do. We're not going to trade him just for the sake of making some move. Maybe if we get a good offer but so far nothing.
  14. I wouldn't trade Battier just because of the situation we're in right now. He brings too much to the team and Morey still wants to compete. I would start Ariza for the reason Clutch just posted and you have remember Shane isn't the same player he used to be, just make him the sixth man again.
  15. That is where the Princeton Offense kicks in. T-Mac and Yao never allowed Rick to implement his offense fully but now that they are out of the way. The Princeton offense is constant motion and passing, here are some of the basics. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X9WZoTYdsQE I really think a long, athletic forward like Ariza can shine here, not as a star but a solid player. Don't forget Ariza just recently turned 24, he still has plenty of time to improve.
  16. Morey and Adelman DID say Ariza will be our number 1 option instead of Brooks. PPG: 15.7 RPG: 6.5 ASPG: 3.7 SPG: 2.1 Pretty crazy how our number 1 option will be roughly getting 16 ppg. I can see Brooks getting more though.
