Knicks to sign K-Mart to 10 day contract
Dash replied to NomarFachix's topic in New York Knicks Team Forum
Good pickup assuming he's in shape. -

There were about 6 takers this morning and one by one they dropped out of the race. Atlanta was completely delusional about Smith's trade value and in one leaked rumor wanted Asik + Parsons from Houston. They did have a deal with Milwaukee but pulled out a minute before the deadline. No idea what Ferry is thinking.
-
So that would be all Orlando will be getting then. Love for Milwaukee but don't get it for the Magic, they were getting offered firsts (albeit from contenders) and take this? Ehh
-
Nice pickup for the Blazers. OKC will receive a trade exception and a draft pick, no word yet on what pick it will be.
-
This was originally a three team deal with Atlanta where the Bucks would also get Josh Smith, but the Hawks pulled out. Bobcats are reportedly a third team in this deal, wondering what role they play because this really isn't all that much for Redick.

Adrian Wojnarowski @WojYahooNBA Orlando has traded J.J Redick to the Bucks, league source tells Y!

Bucks appear to be the only team left standing.

Its done.

Essentially the Celtics trade nothing of value in Barbosa to get a look at Crawford. Talk about selling low for Washington, early on they were rumored to at least be getting Fab Melo.
-
At 35 and likely discontent about being dealt from Boston, can't picture Pierce garnering multiple first rounders. Not sure why Ainge seems intent on shopping him instead of just letting him retire there?

JJ Redick a hot commodity as deadline looms
Dash replied to Dash's topic in Orlando Magic Team Forum
Seems Redick would be likely to remain in San Antonio if traded there, maybe even for a slight discount? -
Denver is reportedly looking to get back a first round pick for Mozgov.
-
The Magic are looking to get back a first round pick, apparently they've mostly been offered a first in the 20's so far. San Antonio have the worst pick among this group so have to wonder what they'd be adding.

Asik and Robinson would be ridiculous on the glass and T-Rob would be able to run the floor with Harden and Lin too? It wouldn't happen off the bat though, Motiejunas and Jones have been waiting for an opportunity all season long and will get looks in the starting lineup before Robinson would. That is, unless he blows them away in practice making it impossible to not start him. Houston certainly does look worse in the short term losing their starting PF and 2nd player off the bench (after Delfino) so that is some good news for your Lakers lol.

LOL @ Asik and Parsons. Chandler will be staying for sure in any deal, Asik I can see going out if the plan is to still have enough cap room to sign Dwight Howard in the offseason. That would leave us without a center this season though so moving Asik would have to happen in the offseason if they can get a committment from Dwight. I can't picture us offering more than expirings + prospect right now, wouldn't make sense to make it much more than that when we can sign him in the offseason.

Lol I'm going to pin that on 4 hours of sleep in a 2.5 day span. I've seen people mention Milsap or Smith (not sure how caps would work out for Josh), which actually got me thinking about this move potentially killing a free agent signing of either player. If you have a top 5 pick that showing promise in his rookie year then there is very little need to make a desperation signing of someone who plays the same position. Houston can preserve their cap room for another season and if Robinson continues to play well then suddenly you're in position to offer a team instant cap relief and a blue chip prospect if another star were to become available. Now its a completely different scenario if Robinson comes in and is just average or disappointing but regardless the odds of a Paul Milsap/Josh Smith signing in the summer significantly went down tonight.

James Harden: 46 points on 19 shots, overcame double digit deficit in 4th quarter. Holy cow. Lin had a pretty huge night too for 29 points, nailed a few crucial threes down the stretch. This happens while the Rockets were undermanned and temporary lost Parsons when he rolled his ankle.
-
Not sure if this was done intentionally but if so, class move. Marcus wasn't needed here and we cut some salary to increase our cap room this offseason.
