  1. Awesome first post. Welcome to the site! Hope you stick around. Nursing? I was giving that some strong consideration (often called the "murse" by my friends in reference to Scrubs) before I decided on pharmacy. Can't deal with some of the disgusting stuff you'll have to end up doing, still a great career choice though.
  2. If you want to do that glitch for anything besides archery, just go the Companions guild and complete it (its pretty short) and after your done you can make any guild member follow and most of them can train you in several different skills. As for magic Illusion is a lot of fun to mess around with. Whenever I invade forts I use fury and have half the guards turn on each other and watch them do all the work for me.
  3. I remember early in the draft process a lot of people had him going in the lottery (or around there) and the Rockets were apparently a viable option for him. Anyways I think its too early to give up on Alabi, during the workouts every scout pretty much said you have to be patient with him. I remember one report saying that it could take 3-4 years before Alabi is properly developed into an NBA player. If he shows some potential during his stint with the Jam this year then it might be worth taking a flyer on him for another season.
  4. If you're looking for easy level ups, spam muffle.
  5. Anyways I'm over the refs, we lost for a number of different reasons. -Martin played like garbage. Seriously it looked like he was finally back after the Atlanta game but he was useless. -Scola at the 5? McHale's small ball worked in the 2nd quarter but eventually Luis Scola playing center and guarding Andrew Bynum wasn't going to work out so well. -Jacking up three. Yes, we weren't getting any calls but at least try to be aggressive or find better shots instead of giving up and jacking long bombs. -We didn't utilize the pick and roll enough in the 4th quarter, it was working beautifully in the first three quarters. -Our starting lineup can't play defense, this has been known before the season even started. Martin/Scola/Bud can't be on the floor together for long. -More Samuel Dalembert time would have been useful, Jordan Hill was useless against the Lakers monster frontline. -Somebody help out Lowry! Sometimes it felt like he was the only Rocket playing. -Crash the boards, Lowry had 10 rebounds and the next leading rebounder was Luis Scola/Dalembert/Lee with 5 rebounds apiece.
  6. Update on Lee's injury: So he's out for the Clippers game for sure (pretty much a given), tough loss but this might mean some more time for Terrence Williams at the 2 with Chandler Parsons at the 3.
  7. Martin has been doing the exact same thing Kobe did on that one play and still got no-calls all season. We got the hint from the refs early on that we weren't going to get shit from them so we were forced to jack up jumpers. When the Rockets did drive it in and forced contact we got nothing. I don't think anyone ever said it was Kobe getting all the calls, just the Lakers in general.
  8. Is that why Kobe picked up that shooting foul in the third when he pumped faked and then bumped into Lee when he fell for it? Pretty sure they just made a rule against that. Also why weren't we get ANY calls when we drove the ball to the basket and forced at least a bit of contact? And then the Lakers go back, do the exact same thing and get the call? Bill Worrell said at the beginning of the game that two of the three refs tonight were the least experienced in the NBA and that showed. I usually don't complain about refs either but God they were awful tonight.
  9. No surprise, the Rockets seem to take this process every year with their top rookies by sending them to the D-League early in the season and then working them into the rotation. The Rockets do not have a scheduled practice until next week so it makes sense to send Morris down to the Vipers where he'll have an easier schedule and work with a team that runs the same offense as us. Plus the Rockets want Morris to develop his game as a small forward and Morey is very confident that Morris eventually will be a true 3.
  10. Statline tonight versus the Lakers: 22 points, 10 rebounds, 9 assists and 2 steals. What a stud.
  11. Rockets - 7 free throws Lakers - 25 free throws Yeah, not hard to figure out why we lost.
  12. Silver lining is Bud finally got going.
  13. Should be the dagger there by Kobe. Rockets had him well guarded in the last three possessions but Kobe still managed to get a bucket plus a foul on two of them.
  14. 2 excellent possessions by Kyle Lowry. This is exactly why I think he's a top 4 point guard in the West.
  15. What is wrong with Martin? Can't get anything to drop for him.
  16. Patterson's shot is way off, understandable considering that this is just his third game coming off of surgery. Good to see him being aggressive.
  17. These refs must secretly be Lakers fans. Have to be.
  18. So pumped for this, first playoff appearance in franchise history. I think Houston takes care of business, Bengals have a great future and will put up a fight but we finally have Andre Johnson back and that should be all the difference we need.
  19. Great win for the Mavericks against what most consider is the top team in the West, this could be the sort of performance that gets them back on track.
  20. Jennings: 3 assists, 6 turnovers. Terrible.
