Preseason Trades Hornets Recieve: Andre Igoudala Willie Green 2010 1st Round Pick 2011 1st Round Pick 76ers Recieve: Chris Paul Sean Marks Darius Songaila --- Hornets Recieve: Brian Skinner 2010 2nd Round Pick Clippers Recieve: Julian Wright --- Trading Paul is a major move for this franchise. Collison, a promising point guard in his own, won't cost as much. One of them would've been traded, but Collison is younger, doesn't crave as large of a contract, and we believe that with Paul in his prime that this team isn't cut to contend. Therefore, we traded him to rebuild our future and our current situation. We got Andre Igoudala, an offensive playmaker who gives us the athleticism we need in our forward position. We also got a decent guard to add depth in our rotation in Willie Green. For the future, we picked up two future first round picks as our team enters the rebuilding process. Also, we got more room in our cap space so we can sign a big name in the big free agency period coming this offseason. We lost two big men, so we needed to get someone to back up Gray, West, and Okafor. Wright has a lot of raw potential, but we traded him instead of Posey for Brian Skinner to give us some depth in the front court, and got another draft pick to help out our future. Rotation: PG: Collison / Thornton / Green SG: Peja / Thornton / Green SF: Igoudala / Posey / Peja / Peterson PF: West / Posey / Igoudala C: Okafor / Gray / West / Skinner

Objective as in you won't accept me having any confidence in my team whatsoever. Even the hint that I think they have a better chance at a title causes you to freak.

I'm gonna start an 82 game season on 2k with the Hornets with edited sliders. I'm gonna control all thirty teams in the process so that half-way through the season, the Rockets don't add in Yao in the rotation, etc... Standings Roster

Yeah, because they are favorites in the West? If you haven't realized, it's the Lakers, perhaps the Nuggets, and then everyone else. Unless you're perceived by their success so far. If you think Dallas is better than Cleveland, then who's the best team?

Why don't they ban mouth guards because guys like Gerald Wallace chew them openly and the moment they're hit it could choke them.

It obviously does mean much....we got eliminated by the Magic in the playoffs, who almost beat us in Cleveland and killed us both times in Orlando during the regular season. We weren't built to play them, and we learned it. This year, we built ourselves to beat all the elite teams. Rather than losing by double digits in LA, Orlando, and Boston as we did last year, we won in each place in big ways. Why shouldn't I be confident things turn our way now considering the pattern I mentioned.

Wow....I'm stunned at this Milwaukee team. At the beginning of the season I thought they'd be terrible. Bogut deserved tomake the all-star team. Hopefully he's All 3rd team NBA perhaps?

Well when we got eliminated last year everyone pointed to the 4-6 record I think it was against the elite teams.... The one thing different is we are beating elite teams on the road....so when we succeed in the playoffs, point to tht.

Wow, they lost....no Pierce and KG got hurt, even then it's no excuse. 16-11 at home? This team may be waiting for the playoffs, but they have to get there first with a somewhat good seeding and momentum.

Wow.....I'm waitin for Boston to come back and blow them out but it's impressive that NJ has maintained a lead this long.

Did you see where it said better chance at a title? Is it that far out a prediction that the best team in the league, who by the way it 7-2 against the Lakers, Celtics, Magic, and Hawks, wins a ring?

My first post in this thread dealt with the Z thing, you brought this deal up, so I guess I'll just be quiet. If someone presents you with Jamison in that type of deal, you take i...I'm just happy on not a fan of the team handing him off.

I wasn't talking about that deal though. It's not as much as what the Cavs gave up for Jamison but the contract they took on. They hurt their financial situation, therefore, their future, which is very delicate in this economy. Way over the cap even more now.

I was watching First Take on ESPN and of course Skip Bayless defends the NBA banning this.

Exactly, so if Z is "literally nothing", nothing should be wrong with the Cavs getting him back.

I didn't know that x amount of rings justifies talking about another team when you know that your team itself has gotten a few more than fair deals.

Playing time or ring? The Cavs gave him some huge contracts throughout his career despite his season long injuries. They stayed with him for his career, and he will do the same in return. It's a no brainer....go to Dallas or Atlanta, average a few more points and a few more minutes, eliminated in the 2nd round, retire, feel out of place, or go to Cleveland where the fans actually love you, where your family is, where you've been for years, play a few less minutes, have a better chance at a title, and knowing what a title means to Cleveland.

What I don't get is how everyone disregards Z like he is just a declining vet who isn't worth playing anymore on our team, yet the moment he's traded everyone thinks he's valuable all the sudden and deems it unfair if he returns to Cleveland, as if he's a valuable part to an elite team. I wish Z got this much respect on a consistent basis. Mike Brown didn't say anything when the Lakers were handed Pau Gasol, so Phil shouldn't stick his nose in our business.

Nuggets. They play better against the elite teams so when they play teams such as Dallas and Utah, they'll have more confidence in those big games to win them.

89-82...we blew a 7 pt. lead....just terrible. There were some very iffy calls in the last minute of regulation such as when Bargani kicked out Mo into Jack so Jack got the foul called and went to the line. And I'm upset LeBron didn't shoot the potential game winner.

We could win this. Hopefully Jamison can get a hot hand and he and Mo can lead in scoring.

Of course I'm saying the Cavs.....the one thing that worries me is that we won't win the clincher on our home court, because winning it at home is so much of a difference. That would be just a fantastic feel good moment that was long-awaited for. We could drop one in LAL, but I think we could win won just as easily on the road.
