  1. Lol....it's not like Z makes that much more of an impact.... He's coming back. Rumors he won't come back are as out of wack as the Shaq trade rumors. Only concern here is how we divide minutes for the rotation, especially with Powe coming back soon. Hickson should start still.
  2. The Wizards, by buying him out, will go under the luxury tax.....so it's sort of the obvious choice.... Also, why should the Wizards play Z when McGee needs time to develop?
  3. That stock in the background behind Butler hurts the piece a lot. Shorten the height, and fixup the text...has potential.
  4. Amazing...OKC is half a game out of the 4 seed....they are peaking so much earlier than I expected.
  5. Now the Cavs have a tough back to back Thursday and Friday, You know the Nuggets will play inspired ball in Cleveland and then on Friday we go to Charlotte, and we have to win this time especially if NJ won there.
  6. I understand Monta for Allen, but no way can Perkins leave Boston. Perkins and Rondo are a great guard-center combo that won a ring together, and they are so young and you can't lose that.
  7. Blazers lose a lot of depth come playoff time but they finally have a center which much outweighs the latter. I wonder if Mills will play some minutes at the guard now? Bayless will have more time which is good for his development. Blake was a huge spark for this team though.
  8. That move would be idiotic and when you're at the point that you'll trade Shaq, it's just a joke and fantasizing.
  9. Honestly, this is the move that gives us the best chance at winning a title. All this talk of Amare coming to Cleveland will keep LeBron, but I'm willing to sacrifice LeBron leaving (though I think he's staying anyways) to win a title. Winning a title this year is all that matters, and Jamison will be awesome for us for 2-3 years I think. He's a better complimentary player and more clutch than Amare. I admire his heart more too.
  10. I'd give Utah a higher grade....since losing to the Spurs in the WCF, the past two years have been pretty absymal for the Jazz. To be this much better in such a tough conference has gotta be surprising. Perfect ratings otherwise...is there such thing as F-?? lol....
  11. Better chance at a title. If the Heat trade Beasley for him then they'll have that much less talent. At least for the next few seasons.
  12. Yeah the Heat can't lose Haslem if they are getting Antawn, or they'll have to get another big man somehow. They should go for Amare because they need size.
  13. http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/news/story?id=4917507 So we'd keep JJ and get Z back.....that'd be another good deal. I like Maggette. Muc better move to give us talent and not disrupt the team because he's not a big star.
  14. Good...I don't want this money-first guy....Put him with D-Wade where the media can hype them up and leave our team alone. We have to get Jamison....he provides the instant offense we need and he will allow Shaq more room to roam around in the paint. I'm happy stuff like this is circulating as I'd much rather Antawn or even Iggy than Amare.
  15. This whole earning it stuff is annoying. We are 36-24 in the playoffs. We've played 50 playoff games and are the only team in the past 4 years to have gotten past the first round each year. Does this mean we won a title? Hell no, however, it seems that people forget how consistent Cleveland has been. We won the East, we were a few minutes away from beating Boston in Game 7, against Orlando we lost Game 1 by an inch and lost Game 4 by a centimeter. We took Detroit to 7 and wore them out. which is why the Heat eliminated them. Then we beat Detroit and went to the Finals. People forget that this team has been a contender for the past 4 years. Which team has been a contender the past 4 years? When we made the finals, Boston and LAL weren't good at all. My point is, the Cavs have been close to the title and have been very successful in the playoffs. It's not like we made our playoff debut last year and we're all about the regular season. For the past 4 seasons and this season being the 5th, we have had championship aspirations and have had successful runs in the playoffs (which no one seems to respect). When will people finally respect that we are worthy of a ring?
  16. Coming from you, the guy who trashes LeBron at every moment, your comments really aren't that useful in this thread.
  17. I want AP, Mo, or Boobie in the 3 point contest. or JJ in the Sophomore team. or I wouldn't have said this, but after I found out Al Horford made the all-star team and that David Lee did....Honestly, Shaq is so much better than them any day.....ifhe wasn't on the Cavs where he doesn't need to do as much his numbers would be just like last years....
  18. Ok, but seriously, when 3 New York Knicks are participating in All-Star weekend as a whole and there is only one Cavalier, doesn't that seem a little bit out of wack? Just a little? Or are the Knicks really that talented?
  19. It didn't have to be the all-star game...it had to be all-star weekend as a whole that at least one more Cav got the opportunity to participate in. What's their record against the Lakers this year? How good is your "all-star" Pau in those games? He's afraid to shoot a jumper over Z.....that in a nutshell is how much an advantage we have over this soft team come NBA Finals if they can even make it now that we see how Artest doesn't impact them as much as we thought.
