  1. Number one in rushing and in defense (which helps mask Sanchez' noticeable tough rookie season), the Jets are built for the playoffs. No Kris Jenkins on D will hurt, but this team seems interesting. As much as I want Cincinnati to win, I just can't see it. They'll play inspired football and could win, but my gut says Jets.
  2. Ravens are overrated. Beating Chicago, Detroit, and Oakland to get back into the race and make the playoffs honestly isn't that great. Besides their early road win in San Diego, their record is sort of inflated. And the key: New England 8-0 at home. They'll win this but they are one and done imo.
  3. No Dawkins for Philly and they are coming off a loss at Dallas, but I won't give up on Reid and McNabb.
  4. As much as I wanna see Green Bay kill Minnesota in the playoffs, seeing Arizona back in the Super Bowl again would make me happier. I hate how the Cards are bing underestimated even after last year. No Rodgers-Cromartie and No Boldin, but they still go the best receiver in the game, and they got a good D with Adrian Wilson and Dockett.
  5. Howard fouls out. Wow.....Pacers lose by 49 and then beat the Magic?

  7. NBA TV just reported Alston got a buyout so he can come to Miami so I guess Arroyo's gone.
  8. It's gonna be sick....I think Hogan will arrive right when Raw starts and Hart comes out so that'll be the ratings war. No Cena on Raw since he coin tossed the Fiesta Bowl, so that hurts WWE.
  9. Looks like the Hawks have come back to real life. The Heat and Raptors can now go for the 4 seed.
  10. TNA is on Spike TV from 8-11, WWE Raw from 9-11. Hulk Hogan debuts on TNA whereas Bret Hart returns on WWE Raw tonight.
  11. We need a QB first. Evan Moore shows promise at TE and Robiskie and Massaquoi will be better with their rookie season behind them. So at east we have some talent at WR. And maybe for our first pick get a WR....but at QB, we have nothing and have to start all over again. I heard on the radio that they are trying to get Hasselbeck or Kevin Kolb so I went with Matt because to me he's better than a backup. Also, Holmgre had Matt H. at QB so maybe they could redeem their partnership in Cleveland.
  12. Well if you're looking at any stat for one game you could do that.
  13. Yeah but also, Cincinnati has so much bad luck all the time and what they are doing on national TV is just a joke. They could at least try to prevent the Jets from killing them. Ending the season 1-3 can't be good motivation.
  14. I just didn't get where you got Gordon from...I mean he's not affecting games like he did in Chicago. Just because he scores 18 ppg, he still isn't making key shots and certainly hasn't helped them win much at all. And I see Odom as more of a contributor and I don't see him work as hard as Andy and he isn't as key in big games. How was he vs. Cleveland.
  15. That's more like it. This is the Laker team I'm afraid of.
  16. I think the Bengals will choke at home. They've only won against the division basically. With the Jets ending the season this strongly allbeit against a Bengal team that knows it made the playoffs, the idea of winning by this much has to give them a lot of confidence. I say Arizona, Eagles, Patriots, and Jets advance.
  17. Anyone else find it odd that 3 of the 4 wild card games have been played today? (Green Bay vs. Arizona, Dallas vs. Philly, and NYJ vs. Cinci)...Talk about spoiling the excitement.
  18. Haha wow. Flat out we didn't show up, and that's not a good sign. I thought we were on the right track. Fatigue plays a big part. They are coming off yet another back to back. One game in the next 5 days meaning we'll get what we badly need: rest. Vs. Washington Wednesday which is always tough facing them specifically. Hopefully they can get back to form in time for the tough road games coming including at Denver Saturday. Ugh....they thought they could win the 4th so they took off the 1st three quarters, and it backfired. Guess we needed a loss so we know we still have a ways to go. 3 home losses, 2 all last year. Makes you appreciate how special last regular season was. However, we still have the playoffs for redemption.
  19. I understand it's good for the fans when we end the season with 4 straight wins, but at the same time you went from 1st pick in the draft to now 7-8. While it's not that big of a drop off, they had a lot of draft picks so their picks in the 2nd-3rd and so on go down spots as well. Hopefully we can pick up Hasselbeck and finally have a true QB.
  20. Lol at Odom and even Gordon....are you going by 2k ratings?
  21. http://www.nba.com/statistics/plusminus/plusminus_sort.jsp?pcomb=1&season=22009&split=9&team= He leads the league in +/-. Think about that. That means when he's on the court, that's when a team is playing at it's best collectively essentially. Look at all the other names on that list. Artest, Dirk, LeBron, and he's on top. Averaging 8.2 ppg and 8 rpg including a steal and a block. He does everything on the floor. He isn't the strongest guy. Rather, he uses his position on the court in relation to who he's guarding or where he's trying to rebound from to his advantage. That's what makes him such a hard and smart working player. Also, he shoots 52.6 %. That efficiency rating shows why he makes such an impact on the court. He hustles so hard and it's awesome seeing him find ways to get to the basket to catch LeBron's passes for the easy layup/dunk. Why is he better than the other candidates? Jason Terry, Al Harrington (some other 6th men candidates), aren't even in the top 50 of efficiency. Even if you guys don't think he should win, at least this shows he should be in the discussion. He plays a part in all of the Cavaliers wins with key rebounds and points that are barely recognized.

  23. Going to this one....this is who we'd play if the playoffs started tonight. Go for 8 straight!
  24. The irony..... You're comment on LeBron ....I could really care less, the other 100 posts on this site you've made about LeBron deal with bashing LeBron and all the sudden you think he's just kind of a douche sometimes.
