Dude, all game their quarterback had a pocket around him and had all the time to make a throw. He completed like 9 of 9 to start and if you watched the game, then you saw that on their first drive he threw a perfect pass which the receiver missed for the touchdown. And to open up the 2nd half, he did fairly well but the kicker missed a chip shot.

They said there's something in his family. I don't know exactly though. He should be back soon. -
I wanted to make this because I recently realized that every team in the Central division has a winning record. The Pistons, Pacers, and Bucks have been unexpectedly solid to start. Sans Rip and Tayshaun, Ben Gordon has contributed greatly to this Piston team with guys like Will Bynum stepping up. Ben Wallace, Charlie V, and Stuckey have also risen up. The Pacers just beat the Celtics. Roy Hibbert has been beastly, averaging almost 3 blocks a game and 10 boards. Grander averaging 24 a game. Dahntay Jones has come alive offensively with 15 a game. And need I say more about the Bucks? With Michael Redd out, the Bucks have been 4-1. While Warrick and Bogut are solid, the Bucks have found a stud in Brandon Jennings. Imo, every team in this division has a star on their team. LeBron, D-Rose, Ben Gordon, Danny Granger, and Brandon Jennings. Which division do you guys think is the best this far into the season?

Dude, you talk about Shaq like we need 20 a night from him. News flash: we don't. Unlike the Heat, the Cavs have Mo Williams, who also can put up 15-20 a night on average. Shaq's job for the Cavs is to establish that the Cavs have a physical presence in the post. The Heat do not have a legitimate 2nd option, which is why I just don't trust them. Halsem had 28 tonight, but still you guys need a consistent 2nd option to really take the pressure off of Wade. That's why the Cavs got so much better when they got Mo. 21 wins better. And I think the Hawks are better because they have more talent collectively. The Heat have no one like Al Horford who is much more athletic than the Heat big men. The Heat don't have a point guard consistent like Bibby, and the Heat don't have as good of a bench. The Heat have Cook, but Mo Evans, Jamaal Crawford, Joe Smith, Jeff Teague, and Zaza is a much better bench imo.

Didn't Indy beat them last year at home also? This Central Division is slowly becoming one of the best in the league next to the Northwest and Pacific sorta.

Looks like it so far. The Cavs are 4-0 since starting him. Here's his point total in his last 4 starts from his first start. @ New York - 6 pts (13 min) @ Orlando - 9 pts (23 min) @ Miami - 18 pts (31 min) vs. Utah - 20 pts (38 min) In the past 2 games he's legitimately playing as a starter. He only played a lot last year because the Cavs were blowing teams out, but as a starter, he's averaging a little over 13 a game and that point line should look more consistent as the Cavs get used to him starting. Last year he was a rookie who barely played important minutes, and now he's starting and having great hustle plays, alley oops from LeBron passes, nice jump shots, and good penetration to get a lay up or dunk.

Milwaukee has a star finally. I'm rooting for this team all the way as I am impressed with Jennings. -

Cavs were terrible today. They had good 1st and 3rd quarters but in between they just coasted along with the lead and the Jazz just weren't good enough to fully take advantage. But no Shaq and we did pretty good. After the game LeBron talked to Maynor for a few seconds....he must've been giving him praise for how well he did. Maynor might be playing better than D-Will. -
Just because the Raptors beat them in a regular season game in which the Cavs still were learning how to work with Shaq, it doesn't mean that the Raptors have their number. And imo, Miami has done nothing to prove they are contenders. A 6-1 start doesn't justify a championship team. This team got eliminated by Atlanta. Atlanta is better and has more talent. Miami has one of the top 3 players in the league, but fact is, they didn't do squat this off season and Jermaine O'Neal and Magloire aren't the answers at the big men positions.

Cavs were up 16, but now only up 5 at the half...I'm not worried. Maynor looks really good. -
OSU will win the Big Ten for the 5th year in a row! The defense was terrible, getting only one sack, but it was a big sack. Vandenberg had absolutely no pressure all game and our offense was pretty stagnant. OSU got some breaks, but a win is a win!

This will be another blowout loss for the Hornets and a nice homecoming for the Hawks after their surprising road win. I'm interested to see how the Hornets do without CP3 and their backs truly against the wall.

Nash Moves Up On This Week's Race To MVP
Cleveland's Finest replied to Sun Tzu's topic in General NBA Discussion
Well the Suns rebounded more so because Frye has been outstanding, Nash is fresh, and Amare is back. Not just because they lost Shaq. -
Atl still needs to show me they can win when it matters later in the year. The Heat are only good because of D-Wade. No other all-stars, and no one to carry the offense when he's not on the floor. He does everything. This isn't the same team that had Shaq, Posey, Walker, etc...which gave much more talent to work with and less dependent on Wade.

Wow, another terrible showing at home by the 76ers. Getting blown out against one of the worst road teams..... -
I thought Boston would blow them out. Atlanta came out hot and stayed in their groove all game. Crawford and Smith were two huge pick ups. This team is closing in on making the East now the elite 4.
-
Keep in mind the Cavs are the only team with a bench virtually. And if you're gonna be accurate, you may as well put Shaq in center. Casv are built for LeBron with guards who can shoot and spread the floor. Cavs spent years getting this team together. I find it hard to believe that putting him in NJ will turn a team around that drastically. LeBron with the current team in NJ would get them to the 2nd round at best for the next 3 years.

Firing of coaches this early into the season
Cleveland's Finest replied to AboveLegit's topic in General NBA Discussion
The Hornets have gotten blown out too many times already and almost lost to the Kings at home. Not to mention they lost a home playoff game last season by over 50 points. Coming into this season, you'd think they'd want their team to start showing some signs of improvement. While I think the trade that didn't go down with Chandler last season is what began the breakdown of this team, something needs to be dramatically changed to get this team some reason to play harder. Unfortunately the coach was the next to go. -
From what I saw in the game vs. the Suns, this team has little offensive spark and it seems too inconsistent. AI can start at PG which allows the bench to get better with Lou W. coming off the bench again. Also, AI can spread the floor and can help the other AI out on a very mediocre offense.
