  1. Marbury and T-Mac could have their chance to redeem themselves here.
  2. Wow....Philly deserves to lose this. I thought at 4-4 Philly would surely have a walk off but they can't even get to the 9th. Lidge finally blows one in the playoffs. New York deserves to win this imo. They just won't back off and always keep the pressure on. At least the Eagles won today.
  3. Knowing Memphis they'd gladly accept Mbenga and cash considerations to hand over Mayo.
  4. Suns 3-0 now as they should be. They faced defenseless teams in Golden State and Minnesota. Props to them for the good start though.
  5. So Shaq didn't deserve to make the all-star team? And you don't think he's a top 5 center and is dominant still? All-star or not, Mo Williams is a damn good point guard. Last year he was the key acquisition and we go from 45 to 66 wins so he must've done something I assume.... Look at the team the Cavs made the finals with. Z was better, but besides that, look at the upgrades. 07 Finals roster vs. Current roster - Mo Williams or an old Eric Snow? - Delonte West/Anthony Parker or an inconsistent Larry Hughes? - I'll give you Drew Gooden was good, but with Mo adding so much more scoring than Eric Snow, Anderson Verajao provides so much defensive activity to make up for that, as if he hasn't improved enough offensively...his chemistry with LeBron is savvy too - Z and no backup centers? Or Z and Shaq alternating each providing a different type of play? - A bench of a rookie in Daniel Gibson, a younger Verajao, and a sloppy and shoot-first Sasha Pavlovic and...exactly no one else, or a bench of a more experienced Daniel Gibson, Parker or West, Z (a top 5 center as it is), JJ Hickson, Jamario Moon, and Leon Powe soon Across the board, our team went from an average team to elite with the addition of Mo. Now with Shaq, who proved he can still have monster games in Phoenix last year, Moon and Parker who provide much more length for the Cavs, as well as Powe, who will add so much needed defensive intensity and smash mouth rebounding, the Cavs have maintained their elite team.
  6. +1......amazing how 2 all stars and still people think LeBron is on this by himself.
  7. Yet again no offense and if there was defense it was hard to find. Another game where Browns fans see that since there come back ten years ago, ten years in there is still nothing to build around.
  8. Browns will definitely score those field goals, but can they actually score a touchdown? Cribbs will return something for a TD, Browns lose 35-10
  9. Is Vince still injured? Raptors should win considering they have length to defend to big Magic players. Also because Hedo should want to kill them.
  10. Yea....without Yao last year in the playoffs...I think that's the type of style that can keep them in the race. Brooks, Scola, and Battier are the glue to that team and Lowry and Ariza add more.
  11. Happy the Rockets won....I still think they are a playoff team.
  12. LeBron with 14? I was out b/c it was Halloween, but did see that Delonte played. Solid win to begin a nice home stretch. Back out 2-2!
  13. Beginning of a nice 3 game home stand. Get back to .500 and continue playing off of Shaq well. Hopefully Gibson and Verajao can keep up their consistency in their respective roles.
  14. I'd go for Bosh. Bosh and Harris is a great duo to build a championship team on. Lopez and Bosh would play well off each other being perfect compliments and they would probably be the best front court in the league.
  15. Dallas deserves this imo. Despite a 10-0 run by LA, they held it together and put together some nice possessions. Marion and Kidd have good chemistry. And Josh Howard is out, so that makes this that much more impressive.
  16. I'm stunned right now. Dallas really up 18? I know the Lakers have gotten unfair calls, but Dallas has done a great job in getting Terry open looks and Barea has made some nice shots. This Dallas team looks so more competitive than last years. Last year Dallas would lose to LA with not as much fight. This shouldn't be an upset. Dallas made a lot of moves and they got a lot more size this year. Also the fact that Gasol isn't playing takes away one of the Lakers primary talents. However, I'm surprised at how Dallas hasn't let LAL come within their lead for awhile now.
  17. I'm excited for this game.....Mavs new alternates look like the Magic road jerseys....eww
  18. ^^Are you serious? Trade Salmons? This early in the season, not to mention he's one of their best athletes? Chicago just needs to shake this loss off. I'm sure this is upsetting bu the Celtics were like this last year to start the year. The Bulls will be more competitive next time I'm sure. They just came off a big win vs. San Antonio.
  19. Surprised....we were up 19 and they put him in for like one minute.... And it's a win, most notably the 1st therefore I am happy. Hopefully we can capitalize on Charlotte since they are coming off a double overtime game.
  20. YES. They are back! LeBron didn't even play in the 4th. Anderson Verajao is looking awesome. Making more free throws and such improved shooting. Daniel Gibson 4/8 from 3 pt land so far. Shaq really fitting in, and Mo is creating a lot of looks. 96-77 with 5 min. left in the 4th. Go Cavs!
  21. Now I'm happy. The Cavs are finally getting easy baskets, and they are controlling the tempo. Shaq had a dunk, Shaq even was double teamed and bounce passed to a penetrating LeBron for a James slam. Finally I'm seeing ball movement. The good defense and ball movement allows them to control the game.
  22. Wizards and Warriors ones are the best. Nice find lol.
  23. I am as confident as I was at the beginning of the Cavs/Raptors game, so I hope I'm not let down and I see that championship defense from the Cavs. If we win then we are 1-2, right where we were last year.
  24. LeBron vs. the Pistons in Game 5 in a hostile Detroit crowd and staying persistent through 2 overtimes makes this way too easy. So does LeBron's game winner in Game 2 vs. Orlando, and his game winner vs. Washington in Game 1 or 2 (I forget) from the 2006 playoffs. LeBron has been more consistent in his success.
