Cleveland's Finest

This is what I'm looking forward to. Tomorrow night we'll see what the Cavs are made of. Minny showed resilience in coming back to beat NJ and the Cavs usually struggled against lower-tier teams last year so I'm nervous. Also the fact that Shaq's +/- was -25 last game and Shaq and Z look like shells of themselves. Hopefully they click tomorrow. If they lose this and go 0-3 there's gonna be some serious stuff going on and I don't even wanna think about it.

Are you serious? You base your opinion off the opening game? Do you realize LeBron has never played with a true center in his life? And that Anthony Parker hasn't either and LeBron's never played in a game with Shaq, AP, etc...This is something that they need to get used to. One game, let alone the opening game, doesn't define a season. Yesterday LeBron had a triple double and less than 30. It was a tied game in the 3rd so they did show signs of clicking.

LeBron doesn't need help anymore. We got Mo last year and went 66-16. I think that entails having help with 21 more wins than the previous year. They start 0-2...don't panic and say they don't have help all the sudden. We started 1-2 last year. We'll click soon in one game and then the hate will decline.

At least you have the Packers and Brewers who are semi-good if not great. We depend on the Cavs here, and this being LeBron's last year, this Shaq trade looks as though it just shot a hole through their chemistry.

At this point I feel like I can't watch this team for awhile. No offense, no defense, nothing. Wide open shots given up, and the Cavs only shoot threes. It may be Shaq but I've really lose respect for this team now. It's just a joke how lackadaisical this team is.

Z and Shaq are in the top 10 of centers. We have two of the top 10 centers. They'll split nights where some won't play at all. You're telling me that won't help them be more fresh for the playoffs?

LeBron still needs help? Were you expecting Shaq, Parker, and Moon to gel with this team on opening night and blow everyone away? This team is built for the long haul. They need to play together for a few games before you can make an assumption like this. If they are 10-5 thru 15, I'd say they're on a good start.

Dude he shot 9 threes and was circled about the perimeter the majority of the game. If he just drove it a few times in the 4th this game wouldn't be closer, we may have just won.

Wow....Dallas lost their home opener. Washington certainly has gave me notice, especially w/o Jamison.

I am stunned but it's my own fault. I began watching this and thought, no, I knew that the Cavs were ready. But hey, this is the first real center the Cavs have played with in awhile. But when you're up 24-12 you have to put an elite team like the Celts down. And on a personal note, we were down 4 with a few minutes left, and LeBron yet again stays on the perimeter and shoots a three when he could've driven it to the basket (which he barely did all game) and made it a two point game. The Cavs laid an egg. It was the ECF all over again with a blown 1st quarter lead. They still can't defend the pick and roll with Sheed dominating Z and Mike Bron needs time to get the correct rotations. Yes, it's a home game that we should've won, but still, it's one game. It was important and it wasn't important. Good job Celtics, now let's move on to the Raptors and build on this. And we need Delonte! Delonte's doubtful, but Anthony Parker may be better to start at this point. That means Moon and Green will get more playing time, so I'm fine with that. Thank god that Glen Davis is out.

Would love this signing. Then Boobie would only play shooting guard and we'd have our best backup point guard in years.

I predict a 30 plus point win margin for the Lakers. All this talk of the Clippers getting the 8 seed scares me. Since their good year in 05-06 they've been a joke/let down.

I hate to remind everyone, but the home team has won the game between these two teams like the past 10 plus games and the Cavs blew out the Celts in April. People who are picking the Celts are going out on a limb. Also, remember the Cavs were 45-2 in home games that LeBron played in playoffs and non-playoffs last year.

What a surprise, another joke. The Browns had the ball with 2nd and 1 at the goal line and came up with a field goal. Then at 1st and 1 they came up with no points. This franchise is a joke. Please can the Cavs season come any sooner.

Damn Ohio State sucks. On the longest drive of the season with 18 plays they can't get a TD and they miss a 30 yd field goal!

YES I love watching basketball playoffs or not. The Cavs season ended so morbidly that I can't wait for us to show the world why we are a team to be reckoned with. Shaq's debut, LeBron's final year on contract, the Celtics come in town. So many extra stories coming into this game not to mentioning the Cavs great success at home make this game just so exciting!

I like this idea a lot....I'd only do it if enough members did this. We could at like that 'Where amazing happens' music in the background and make it epic.

I can't believe it's almost 8 days until this. Some days I think about the Cavs winning this and just get the chills. Ohio sports have sucked since the Cavs have gone fishing. The Indians sucked as usual, the Buckeyes messed up their season, and the Browns are well the Browns. Finally Cleveland and in large part northern Ohio can cheer for something. This game will start the beginning of hope for something we can trust in, that being the Cavs.

OSU doesn't even deserve to be on this list. Terrible season and I thought they would win the national championship this year... Alabama should be 1...Arkansas should've beat Florida.

Cribbs is amazing and had a kick return for a TD. The refs gave the Steelers a field goal after a terrible call making it 17-7 at the half, should have been 14-7 at the half. Meh the Browns did ok but giving up 500 plus yards is a joke.
