  1. The Hawks did everything possible to lose that game in the final minute...
  2. Damn, impressive game by Horford. Hawks still have a chance...maybe they realize that if they can just win this series, they have a great chance of making the ECF, which would be a pretty big deal imo.
  3. Kobe's the best closer in the game. CP3 doesn't have a big enough body of work. Best closer in the game is a classification that does not change easily.
  4. got my fingers crossed...come on Knicks.
  5. Bulls are better off starting Taj Gibson and trading Boozer. Gibson is younger, and they can build around him, Noah, and Rose better.
  6. Hard to believe Hawes goes from being benched in favor of Lavoy Allen, a rookie, to scoring 20 in back to back games.
  7. Faried with a great final minute to the half. Afflalo has missed TOO MANY open jump shots.
  8. Pierce w/34!?! I thought Atl had this, then I remembered...Tracy McGrady is on their team -> 1st round exit
  9. Golden opportunity to see if Skip Bayless is right in that the Bulls play better w/o D-Rose.
  10. Rooting for the Nuggets. I like how they play the game and fun to watch.
  11. No Butler or Billups for playoffs? Still have a chance but won't get further than WCF.
  12. How? The Mavs have played hard unlike LA when they let New Orleans push them around a bit.
  13. It's been competitive, but Dallas had to win one of those...you wonder how much it takes out of them mentally for being up so late in both games, yet going back home down 2-0. Still got a chance though to tie it at 2...they call it home court advantage for a reason.
  14. People rooted against Lakers because I'm assuming most of the fans were obnoxious in some forums (wasn't around at the time) ...but that's certainly not true of every fan for the team. I don't think people genuinely hated Kobe or Shaq the way LBJ is hated. People root against the Heat because they hate the players. At least I do. The fans really aren't an issue, but it's easy to pick on the fact that a majority of the fans are probably obnoxious just like LA's. I'm sure you guys on here are true fans because you post about the sport on a message board, so I'm not questioning your loyalty to your team.
  15. Yeah for all the star power I was excited for this. It's watered down basketball full of weak foul calls and complaining. Hopefully this isn't what the NBA is going to be like all the time.
  16. There's more complaining to refs than focusing on the game...goes for both teams.
  17. Yeah, but after Game 2 they returned home by playing terrible in two home games, essentially quitting in games three and four if not for Anthony Carter play in game 4 when he revived them for a comeback. I get what you're saying in that he's taken over games, but it's about time Carmelo wins.
  18. Must win for Indiana. This series could go 7.
  19. Yeah...because Carmelo Anthony shouldn't be treated as a star if he gets blown out like that. I understand it happens, but after last year's showing in the playoffs, you think they would come out with more fire. How did Carmelo not expect them to front him like that in game one? He's got to adjust and get the ball tonight and score early. Point is, Carmelo is classified as a top player in the game. Therefore, he should be able to win at least one game this series.
  20. This is the last chance I'm giving New York. Melo and Amare should think their reputation is on the line this series. That doesn't mean that the Knicks have to win this series, but at least put up a fight and look like you have two all-stars on your team.
  21. Too bad New York couldn't do this yesterday. After Nick Young made his third three in one minute, you could feel the tide was going to turn.
