Moon Signed to Offer Sheet!
Cleveland's Finest replied to Cleveland's Finest's topic in Cleveland Cavaliers Team Forum
Lol...it sucks? Moon is much more athletic than Barnes, and we didn't even have a guy like Moon before. Now we have a 6-6 and 6-8 wing players in Parker and Moon. Sure, Moon has faults, but this guy won't play that much minutes. He provides height for certain matchups. He's a solid blocker and dunker. He can even shoot the 3.(35 % career) -

Raw vs. Smackdown 2009?
Cleveland's Finest replied to Cleveland's Finest's topic in Video Gaming Forum
No, it's a mode called Road to Wrestlemania. you can play as John Cena, HHH, Undertaker, Jericho, Batista or Rey (in a tag team one), or CM Punk. Each wrestler starts at the weeks before the Royal Rumble as their Road to WM begins. Then you end once you compete at WM24. Each one has unlockables and character specific storylines. Much better than 24/7. -
This guy is hysterical.

McGee Leads Wizards Past Clippers
Cleveland's Finest replied to JWaLL's topic in Washington Wizards Team Forum
I saw McGee's alley oop over Blake. That was sick...He's gonna have a good future. -
Sell - Shaq will get more boards and points so LeBron's averages could in fact lower. I'm expecting a 26 ppg, 6-7 rpg, 8 apg season. B/S - Nate Robinson won't be on the Knicks when the 2009 season begins. (Meaning he may be on another NBA team or playing for the team in Greece, etc...)

Best Bench in NBA?
Cleveland's Finest replied to Cleveland's Finest's topic in Cleveland Cavaliers Team Forum
Imo the Nuggets will have a much worse bench losing Anthony Carter and Kleiza. Sure, they have the rookies, but don't expect them to fill in all the sudden like seasoned vets. And Wizards have no big men on their bench. Randy Foye/Mike Miller will be on the bench as well as DeShawn, but what else? -
Has anyone picked up the Madden preorder 20 min demo yet?

Some suggestions.....NBA 2009/10 preview...players that will break out next year? players that will lower in production next year? MVP race? the state of GSW basketball? I'll think of some more later.

Nice article. There isn't a day that goes by when I don't think about LeBron leaving Cleveland. I can't see any other big FA's landing in NY, and I hate hearing about reports of him leaving because it makes the whole situation inevitable; that he has to leave and become a global icon. A lot of the talk faded recently with Shaq coming and the cap drop expected, but I'm still nervous.

Buy - Not matter what has happened with Yao, or what will happen (with Tmac presumably), they have a lot of talent in Scola, Brooks, Ariza, etc... Depending on if they trade Tmac for a big man or if Tmac can produce they'll get something there. They have enough talent to make it and I think they will. B/S - Pistons make the playoffs next season?

Rank the Big 3 of the East
Cleveland's Finest replied to The Artesticle's topic in General NBA Discussion
1. Boston - Even if they lose Davis and/or Powe, Daniels and Wallace were awesome pickups and you can't forget Rondo's improvement. KG will come back better than ever. 2. Cleveland - Improved by getting the 3rd best center in Shaq in the league and veteran in Parker. A dominant inside force and a shooting wing were needs this off season. Both were addressed. 3. Orlando - Signing Bass and getting VC are huge, but what they lost was more than what they gained. You lose Turkogolu who caused mismatches during Cleveland. Delonte West/Anythony Parker now guard VC instead of Hedo, virtually taking away the height mismatch. This is such a close race. In the end I think Cleveland and Orlando will face in the ECF though. Boston has done so much, but I think the old vets will be worn down. They'll be eliminated by Cleveland or Orlando in the conf. semis. Cavs win the ECF and go to the finals where they win. -
Best Bench in NBA?
Cleveland's Finest replied to Cleveland's Finest's topic in Cleveland Cavaliers Team Forum
Z is an upgrade from Ben of the bench. Parker is an update from Sasha off the bench. Gibson is trash? He had 7 ppg and had lingering injuries most of the past few seasons. West did so good last year and is our best perimeter defender. He deserves his starting role. And if he goes down Parker can fit in fine. But West deserves his role. Parker has said he's fine coming of the bench in his pres conference -
Best Bench in NBA?

Hence poor man's. -
Pirates have Freddy Sanchez, Jack Wilson, Lastings Milledge, and Ian Snell as their stars so I'd choose them over the Nationals. Also the NL Central is easier to compete in in 2k9 I'd think because in mlb 09 the show, the NL East is hard with the high rated Braves, Phillies, and Mets. Diamondbacks and Rockies are also good ones.

Raw vs. Smackdown 2009?
Cleveland's Finest replied to Cleveland's Finest's topic in Video Gaming Forum
I got both and 09 isn't that much better. The Road to Wrestlemania left me very satisfied though. I'm not getting any more of these games because I get too drawn into the previews and the games never end up great, just average. -
Does anyone have this game for the ps3? I'm open to play anyone online and such. This can also be a discussion thread for it. Did anyone buy the 2nd roster update with the legends? Worth getting?

So far, I think the Cavs have the best bench in the league right now. We have Zydrunas Ilgauskas, the tallest player next season since Yao won't be playing next year as out backup Center. He is a former allstar, averaged 13 ppg and 8 rpg last year. He could start on any team but withS haq here, he'll be coming off the bench. The Cavs were efficient with LeBron on the bench last year with Mo doing the scoring. Imagien how more effecient they can be now with Mo and Z together while LeBron is on the bench. Second, Anthony Parker scored 11 ppg as a starter for Toronto and shoots the 3 well. With his length, he could definitely start on any NBA team, but judging from Delonte and Mo's success of playing off each other, Parker will come off then bench. Then you got Daniel Gibson, who the past two years has been held down form reaching his potentially a lot of injuries. His arm will be better and he will be lights out from the 3 next year. Add in Tarence Kinsey, who has had a fantastic Summer League and will know the system in Cleveland better entering his second year. Also Danny Green and Darnell Jackson have had solid summer leagues. Jackson is very tough and has the size. Green has shot the 3 extremely well and comes from a winning background in UNC. And the Cavs are focusing on signing Rob Kurz, who is a poor man's Hedo. He can shoot and would be the replacement for Wally. Also we may still resign Joe Smith. Imo, our bench, as if it wasn't good last year, got even better this year. We added 2 starters to our bench, one sixth man waiting to rise to the occasion for the first time since his 2007 ECF rookie explosion (Daniel Gibson), 4 players with their second year as a Cav (Jawad, JJ, Darnell, and Tarence) who have all showed brilliant signs of potential be it in the regular season or during the summer league, and the two rookies who have had great summer leagues in Green and Eyenga. This is just an assumption. While we may still have faults in our team, would anyone say we have one of if not the best bench in the league?

Pacific Division breakdown: Clippers have new life
Cleveland's Finest replied to The Goods's topic in General NBA Discussion
Lakers have 16 guaranteed wins by being in this division. I really think though GS can get the 8 seed if PHX underachieves again because Houston & NOH have gotten worse. -
Yeah...let's get a date where everyone can do it. Four people is nothing.
