  1. That's pretty sweet that you were there. Do you think the crowd was good for Rock/Punk? I couldn't tell if having the Royal Rumble match right before exhausted them. Also, who got the best reactions?
  2. So who's the starting forward for Memphis if they lose Gay? I don't see the point for either side. Calderon and Davis would not get the playing time they deserve in Memphis, and Toronto would be losing a key building block in Davis.
  3. Looks like Kyrie is 50/50 for tonight with an illness. If we can somehow pull off four straight wins, that would be impressive. I wonder how much Bogut will play on the second leg of a back to back.
  4. Hopefully we see a triple threat. How can they possibly make Cena/Rock rematch an interesting story? More fruity pebbles jokes Meh show overall. Didn't reach it's full potential. Rumble was average, Punk/Rock had a cheap finish. Everything was too predictable.
  5. Who's watching this tonight? I'm expecting some big returns/surprises tonight.
  6. Hard to see Atlanta making the same mistake they did with Joe Johnson in overpaying him. Unless Smith settles for less, he could be gone.
  7. This was a pretty significant home win. Coming off a road trip and learning that Andy is done for the year, they played hard against a Boston team that needed a win. Kyrie started hot and finished hot. Tristan upped his game, matching Garnett offensively. Gee locked down Pierce, who shot 3-15. And how about Luke Walton? 7 points on 3/3 shooting, and 7 assists. He has quietly been playing above expectations for well over a month now, and it's about time people realize it. He and Shaun Livingston have had some great passing moments that really help the offense run. Solid win, keep the W's coming.
  8. I agree, but we also need to realize his limitations with the PG show. He used to have good stuff as a heel in 2003, and as a face early on, but it's been so long since he's been entertaining to me. But until the WWE gets a back up plan, this is the face of the show.
  9. The Lakers lost this game because of one moment: Dwight Howard missed 2 free throws. In the final minutes, LA and Miami were trading punches. One team took the lead, another tied it up. That pattern broke once Dwight Howard airmailed his first free throw then clunked another, killing the morale of the Lakers, and allowing the Heat to take a crucial two possession lead. Can't blame this on Pau or Kobe. Dwight played well, but that moment shows why his inability to make free throws can kill the spirit of the team. This game looked like it was going to kick start the Lakers. Kobe caught fire, Pau was playing great off the bench, Jamison had a nice and one, and Clark was hitting shots. This game does prove LA will find a way to make the playoffs, but it won't get very far.
  10. It's an impressive statistic, but no one cased about stats this specific when Michael played. I'm sure there were some neat stats that made him look amazing also. I don't see how this stat makes LeBron the best ever. Right now, LeBron is in at best top 5 ever, but definitely not the top 3. Michael Jordan and Kobe are ahead of him, and they have 4 and 5 more rings, or reasons, that put them ahead.
  11. It's amazing to see how different a player JJ Hickson is. Reminds me of Andy with his activity. Poor Gee. Sick dunk.
  12. We'll try and help you guys out more with a win in Salt Lake this weekend.
  13. Lillard knocked the ball out of his hands, making the ball live again for Irving to dribble. What a win. Close like our other game against Portland this year, except we won this time.
  14. I'm not worried because it's only his rookie year. People may think he's a bust, but look at a guy like Thomas Robinson, a top ten pick who has made no impact as a rookie. Dion, meanwhile, is second in scoring of all rookies. I have a feeling that he will be much more wise with the ball next season. Right now, I don't care if he gets a free pass to shoot, because who else is going to score?
  15. Knicks didn't have Melo, but people need to realize that Indiana lost one of its key players in Danny Granger, and overcame a rough start to the season, to now be in the top tier of the East. Pretty damn impressive.
  16. Bogut than Hedo...at least the other guys play.
  17. Yeah, that promo was awesome. Punk was on for most of the final hour. It's impressive that after the TLC match he was able to deliver such a good ending to Raw. The Rock/Punk interaction last night makes me really interested for their match at RR. I kind of want Punk to win. Also, I updated the list of the RR participants so far.
  18. His numbers were expected to rise after Andy went down, but he's gone above those expectations. He's stepped up his game and I think playing with Anderson has shown him the value of hustling out there. He's mostly fixed his problem of getting blocked too much down low. Defensively, he really needs to work on blocking shots. He's got great leaping ability, and that's where the most potential may be. If he could average two a game, that'd be awesome. I really like his game, and while many fans have given up on him and considered him a bust, people need to realize how weak that draft was and not expect an all-star performer less than two years in. Some guys take time to develop.
  19. First, and likely only game I'll be able to go to this year. Tough loss, but it was close the whole game. I was shocked that we made it a game after being down 9 with only a few minutes left. Harden was cold the first three quarters, then took off in the fourth.
