  1. Kyrie Irving or Brandon Knight has got to be our number one goal. We got Baron Davis, and during the Cavs/Wiz game last night, the commentators were saying how Baron has looked forward to being a tutor to young players and wasn't asked of that as a Clipper. It's the perfect storm. Davis can tutor him, Gibson and Sessions can play shooting guard/back up point guard to complement him, and most of all, Byron Scott can coach him up just like he did with Baron, Jason Kidd, and Chris Paul. Next, we need to get one or two forwards and one more big man either in FA or the draft. Guys who I think need to stay on this team are: Baron, Ramon, Boobie, Hollins, Eyenga, Hickson, and Varejao.

  3. The Wizards have an awesome core of Wall-Crawford-Blatche-McGee...so it'll be interesting to see what they do in this year's draft. Maybe add Barnes or Williams? But yeah, Crawford is a beast. He can shoot mid-range, which is why it's so easy for him to run the floor. Very few players have that mid-range shot anymore. I understand Atlanta needed a point guard, but why trade Crawford knowing that the other Crawford, Jamal, is likely to leave?
  4. The best was when Zaza checked in and Boston fans were booing. Josh Smith takes way too many jumpers. It seems he still hasn't reached his potential...he looks disinterested at times.
  5. This could be a blow out for LA. Utah is in free fall and Kobe is rolling.
  6. National Anthem, and Hilson isn't singing America the Beautiful. Snoop Dogg will just be in attendance I think.
  7. Then why is he so afraid to take punishment in the playoffs, opting to jack up threes?
  8. As Skip Bayless has said, a tournament resume isn't made DURING the tournament. Colorado very much deserved to be in there over VCU.
  9. Down 88-84, but just went on a 7-0 run to go up 91-88. Baron hit a pull up three, triggering a Charlotte timeout. Come on Cavs!
  10. It's snowing in Cleveland now and here in Akron haha...we host the White Sox Friday so I hope the weather will be fine.
  11. I certainly wasn't expecting a close game. Kwame Brown is going off.
  12. Westbrook is better. We saw what he can do when he went into Boston without Kevin Durant and won the game. Monta is certainly a good scorer though.
  13. I'd love to see that, but I doubt they'd send the fans home with both heels winning/retaining the gold. It seems inevitable Del Rio will win, which I don't mind. But I'd rather see The Rock screw Cena out of the title and have Miz retain, setting up a Miz win to continue his ways of winning cheap.
  14. At the same time, though, Miami can avoid the Knicks in the first round. And as we saw last year, Boston beat Cleveland without homecourt. Nonetheless there are many games left, so we'll see how it all plays out and who faces who.

  16. Joe Haden at the game tonight dressed as Baron. :glasses: http://desmond.yfrog.com/Himg612/scaled.php?tn=0&server=612&filename=e81ow.jpg&xsize=640&ysize=640
  17. Haha really? You think we're gonna be pissed if we lose to Charlotte tomorrow? This game will be talked about for the rest of the season. People may snicker seeing a fan react so happily knowing that our team is the worst in the league. But the context of this game...just everything, from the new players on the team to Tait's return. It's just so special.
  18. Also, why was that 3 pointer by LBJ allowed? Does anyone recall Michael Finley's three at Sacramento which counted? They never reviewed the clock mistake there.
  19. I think I've repped RD about 4 times in this thread. Also, damn...Ryan Hollins. I said he had to have at least a respectable game...but wow....this is his best game since opening night when he played with just as much activity. He plays very hard at times, and I really hope we give him a chance to stay because this was a damn big game and he stepped up. PLUS 33 w/him on the court?
  20. That was the greatest sporting event I ever attended. Simply amazing. No Verajao, no Jamison, no Samuels, no Erden. That's four bigs. Let alone that this was Baron's first start and most of the guys have had on and off injuries. That atmosphere was pure emotional. I'm never gonna forget this. And you know what? When Gibson, Hickson, and Parker hugged LeBron after the game, no one cared, because we knew they put it out there for us. In the post-game interview, Anthony Parker said all he needs to say is: You (the fans) deserved this.
