Mr. Big Shot! Btw, does Z play anymore for Miami?

At least you have the Giants who won a World Series... Believe me, looking back, we had LBJ and were the perennial favorites to win it all the past two years, and we didn't even get to the finals once in either of those seasons. Anyways, I understand your pain and feel sorry. -_-

Making the playoffs as 8th seed vs lottery
Cleveland's Finest replied to AboveLegit's topic in General NBA Discussion
Well, Milwaukee shouldn't have done that...they signed Salmons, and also Gooden to big contracts....were they going to be a top four seed? Then why do that? -
I heard Amare, Melo, Prince, and Wade are having a sleepover after the game.

Making the playoffs as 8th seed vs lottery

Exactly, they should be trading their players. Charlotte traded Gerald Wallace because they realized that they are going in circles by keeping him. They need to trade Steven Jackson too. Indy has Hibbert and Collison, and should trade Granger and let Paul George start. Granger hasn't even got them to the playoffs yet, so I'd trade him while his value is his highest. Milwaukee has Jennings and Bogut, but with all the injuries, they should trade Salmons, who's been known to spark the team he's traded too. ---------- And it's not tanking. Trade the old veterans who won't be there when you turn it all around, and play the young guys so you can rebuild NOW. How many teams were mediocre with veterans, made the eight seed, then won the finals a few years later? The Golden State Warriors had the eight seed, then a 50 win season the next year, and now look at them. -

Baron has a sore knee anyways....they aren't gonna throw these guys in. We've played without a healthy Mo all season, so it's not like we're playing with a lack of bodies out there. -
Who are your four #1 seeds for the NCAA tournament? Mine are: Ohio State BYU Kansas Pittsburgh To me, none of these teams have bad losses. Pitt plays in the best conference, BYU's dominated at SDSU, and Kansas and OSU don't have any "bad" losses. Kansas was just out of focus at KSU and they gave up a huge lead to Texas.

Look at the teams going for the 8 seed right now... In the East, you have Charlotte, Milwaukee, and Indiana...Do you honestly think any of them have a bright future and an eight seed would be a step in the right direction? A step in direction for those teams would be getting a top 5 pick. The Cavs will have two top ten picks as opposed to just making the eight seed. In the present, it pisses the fan base off, but looking ahead, would a 4 game sweep be that much more beneficial? -
I dislike both teams equally, but by default gotta root for the one w/o the perennial "MVP".

I don't know if any of the new guys are playing, but they'll be there, so it'll be cool to see them. It's Boobie's 25th birthday, so hopefully he can have a great game. JJ had a terrible game against Houston, but was fantastic against the Lakers, Knicks, and Clippers...so he has to be productive. -

Haha, it's so weird seeing Krstic with the big four. I wonder if Mo, Jamario play or not? -
More underrated player, Joe Johnson or Brandon Roy?
Cleveland's Finest replied to a topic in Player Comparisons
Easily Roy...Johnson got a max contract. -
Five Pistons Engage In Player Protest

The players are getting more and more control in this league and it's getting out of hand. They are getting paid millions and are mocking their profession right now. -
The Clippers are rising, as are the Grizzlies. Now, the Thunder are elite, and it looks like the Nuggets aren't going anywhere just yet. The Jazz, Rockets, and Suns are all competitive. I think the recent trades just make the last few playoff spots more interesting. The West is still better. The East is like the rich and the poor right now. You've got 6 teams all in terrible shape.

Can you imagine if the 76ers somehow finished ahead of New York? It's definitely possible now. -

Denver's playing the way I wanted Cleveland too after we lost our star...it's unfortunate watching the Nuggets proudly represent their city while the Cavs couldn't quite do the same. -
Pistons laugh at own head coach after ejection
Cleveland's Finest replied to a topic in NBA and College Basketball Media
I respect Ben Wallace, and he should know better than to do this...it's terrible when veterans like T-mac, Stuckey, and Big Ben are laughing. I don't care how crazy you think your coach is...there has to be a level of respect.
