  1. The Nets just had it going tonight. The game was pretty even to start. The Cavs had a rough time getting the ball in the basket in the first quarter, but did much better on the offensive end as the game progressed. The closest part of the game was halfway through the second quarter, when the Cavs cut the lead to 33-30. The Nets then went on a huge run. Terrence Jones, in his NBA debut, put up 30 points. He shot the ball almost any time he had the slightest look, and it kept going down. Coming out of the half, the Cavs were determined to get back in the game. They made it a thirteen point game heading into the fourth, but the Nets went on an 8-2 run to start the fourth quarter, virtually killing any energy left in the Cavs systems. The Cavs kept the rookies in there though to get some experience. The whole fourth quarter, though, was just a dagger to the Cavs, who looked poised to make a comeback. Key stats in this game include field goal attempts. The Nets had 90, while the Cavs had 71. That mostly came from the Nets dominance in second chance attempts. They had 10 offensive rebounds to the Cavs 3. http://media.cleveland.com/startingblocks/photo/new-cavaliers-secondary-logojpg-3e1cc85a3e691cec_small.jpgCavaliers Extra Post-Game Comments Byron Scott: "I think we were prepared, we just didn't execute. We turned the ball over and lost the rebounding battle. Those things we can control. Also, we need to get to the line more." Sullinger: "I mean, it was awesome finally playing, but this isn't how I wanted our team to come out. We'll just have to be ready for Denver Saturday because I really don't want to lose like this again." http://community.2ksports.com/community/storage/media/v/l4/l3953/m3956243.jpg Sullinger has a solid debut. He blocks one of Randolph's shots here. Game Notes - Irving had 9 assists, but also had 10 turnovers - Jamison only had 5 points, forcing Scott to limit him to only 14 minutes of play - Thaddeus Young had no mid-range game tonight, and the Cavs will need that - Boobie will be back in 8-10 weeks Game 2: Home Opener vs. Nuggets (10/29/11) ---------- I'm not the best 2k player, but don't expect this too often.
  2. I was 15 around when I started, so I've been a part for around 3 years...I wish I knew about this place earlier. To me, it's the best forum ever easily, because it's ALWAYS been strong. That's because of the awesome members and staff.
  3. When the Cavs on the ECF in Game 6, my dad and I waited in line for like a half hour at the team shop following the game to get dozens of hats and shirts. I guess it depends....for teams like the Lakers or Steelers, it's common. But for franchises where it's rare or the first time, you can understand why those fans would want it. Something to remember with.
  4. I'll try and watch the first half...until the Jazz can finally win here, they won't be able to overcome their struggles with LA.
  5. Wow....46-26 at the half. I'm quite impressed. Their defense is suffocating Purdue.

  8. ^^Yeah, I think I made a typo...Chandler's on Denver. I said he was, so I don't know why I said he was still on New York...I'll check again to make sure. The Knicks still have Fields though, so not too much of a difference in starting lineup caliber. Lol...I dissed the Jazz in my preview, yet somehow they made number 2 in the preseason power rankings? Miami's number one, but Jazz at 2? My Cavs are at 20. No games tonight...but tonight I'll put up Cavs Media Day and have a preview for the Cavs specifically. Then, it's game time.
  9. Date: 1/25/11 Time: 9:00 P.M. Eastern Location: Value City Arena Channel: ESPN #12 Purdue Boilermakers (17-3, 6-1) http://l.yimg.com/a/i/us/sp/v/ncaaf/teams/20080123/80x60/ppj.gif @ #1 Ohio State Buckeyes (20-0, 7-0) http://l.yimg.com/a/i/us/sp/v/ncaaf/teams/20080123/80x60/oob.gif I'm excited to see the atmosphere in Columbus. After this game our schedule lightens a bit, so let's take care of business tonight. Go Bucks!
  10. Alright guys, I redid it and saved multiple files so this won't happen again. Roster is same for me, but I couldn't sign Michael Redd. It is what it is. Bottom line, this ain't going nowhere.
  11. Looks like it is, I'm gonna restart and make the same exact moves, except I'll redo my NBA preview thread. It won't happen this time because I'll make multiple save files. This ain't going anywhere....it'll take a few days though as I don't feel like doing it all over again in one day.
  12. Hey we beat you last time at New Jersey. That was our last road win in fact.
  13. I'm not that type of player. I suck at this game lol. And you've gotta be kidding me....I load my franchise and it loads as though I'm the Nuggets GM...I was when I did the Melo trade but I went back as Cavs. And when I go to resign as GM to go back to the Cavs it freezes. I'll find a way to work around this...Maybe I'll just have to play as the Cavs as Nuggets Gm....but still...the one time I don't need a freeze it happens.
  14. Lol, thanks...I'm gonna play opening night at San Antonio tonight. I played a few preseason games but either Sullinger or Irving were injured. Both are healthy now, but I'll do some practicing in the scrimmage mode before that game. What a tough schedule the thing gave me. After the Spurs I go straight to Miami.
  15. http://twitter.com/#!/londonDAPS If we don't win this, odds are we don't win this month. Why? We face Boston, Denver, Orlando, and Miami after this before the month ends.

  17. http://i200.photobucket.com/albums/aa312/Clevelands_Finest_album/cavsassobanner.jpg edit - I don't get why the Warriors signed Brooks.
  18. I'm gonna have draft/FA results tonight...Melo resigned with Denver....should I leave it like that? Or trade him to NY...

  20. Ok I did one last year and only got to game 4, so I'm determined to have a lasting one this season. I started a Cavs Association and simmed the whole season. They finished with a 30-52 record (fourth worst in the league). In the playoffs, the Lakers beat the Mavs in the Western finals, and the Celtics beat the Heat in the Eastern finals. The finals was decided in 7 games when the Celtics beat the Lakers in Boston in Game 7. Rajon Rondo was the MVP of the finals. Here are the regular season award winners: MVP: LeBron James MIP: Derrick Rose COY: Scott Brooks SMY: Jamal Crawford ROY: John Wall DPY: Ben Wallace I'm going to be playing on 10 minute quarters, All-Star difficulty unless I feel I should change it. 2011 off-season news will be posted next.
  21. The Packers have killed the crowd...not looking too bright for Chicago so far.
  22. Pretty much all national media had the Cavs not winning more than 20 games, yet we get a F? And the only F for that matter? The best part, Byron Scott gets a C for coaching. Has he done anything? This guy making these knows nothing about this team other than what he sees during the TV highlights.
