  1. Rose is the strongest point guard in the NBA, and also the best at taking a game over. Rondo's the best passer, Chris Paul and Deron Williams are the best shooters and floor generals. All four can be considered the best. Westbrook could be the best a few years from now but I need to see how he fares in the playoffs this year and next year. He's got the explosiveness of Rose for sure.

  3. Yeah this will be a good game. The Magic are rolling, so I won't be surprised if they come out with this. But come playoff time, as long as Boston is healthy, I don't think the same results will be seen.
  4. I don't see how he embraces the villain role when he basically tried to back out of his tweet last week, saying he retweeted it (If he did retweet it, he committed plagiarism because there was no symbol that he did retweet it). Truth is, he hates this. He loved when all the fans and celebrities aspired to be him.
  5. Interesting you think Haslem's the leader of the team. And I'm pumped for OSU/Miami!
  6. W vs Oklahoma City W @ Dallas W @ Denver L vs Utah W vs Sacramento L vs Boston W vs Houston W vs San Antonio W @ New Orleans L @ Memphis W @ Boston W @ New York L @ Orlando Utah's a decent road team, Boston wants to get LA back, and Memphis will be a trap game before they go to Boston. So I think those three they will lose. Orlando is hot now, so that will be tough. They are good on the road in big games, so I expect a 9-4 record during this stretch. Denver is a toss up because you never know with their current situation, Dallas has been struggling. Sacramento is an automatic. Houston/San Antonio/New Orleans will all be close, and they'll want to get Boston back for their home loss, and Kobe does great at New York.
  7. Rose is like a mini-LeBron, and he's the exact same as Wade. I admire his desire to be the leader of his team. He's obviously committed.
  8. Seattle HAS to put up points on this possession to end the half.
  9. This is sad. I want us to trade him. He was always one of my favorite players despite being on our rivals, the Wizards, at the time. When the rumors came that we could get him last year I got extremely excited, but now I feel better off letting him go. It's hard to imagine what he's gone through this season. Hopefully we can ship him to a place like Dallas, who needs someone to replace Butler. He doesn't deserve to go out like this.
  10. During this tough time for the Cavs, why not talk about some positive things for this franchise, such as the 2011 draft. Basically starting the franchise over, this is a huge pick to get this thing going in the right direction. If you are GM Chris Grant, who do you pick? This is a tough draft since there's no clear number one. Two guys I'd consider are Kyrie Irving and Jared Sullinger. Irving has gotten nothing but praise from what I've heard, and in this point guard driven league, why not get one for your team? Now, the problem is his current injury. I don't know how much of him we'll end up seeing but I don't think that will affect his stock. Also, Byron Scott has a great history of working with point guards, such as Jason Kidd and Chris Paul. The other guy, Jared Sullinger, is intriguing just because fans here would buy into something like this. He's in our backyard, like LeBron. I don't know if he considers himself to be a power forward or a small forward, and his NBA potential is hard to figure out, but it would be interesting. Other guys, such as Perry Jones, Harrison Barnes, etc...haven't caught too much of my attention, but the two guys I brought up seem like good choices.
  11. 1. Now that the offseason passed, would you say this is what you most wanted to happen as a Heat fan? 2. Who is the leader of this Heat team? 3. How long does Coach Spoelstra last? 4. What's your favorite moment on OTR? 5. Who do you want the Heat to face in the playoffs? Why? 6. What's your OSU @ Miami prediction for next season? 7. Does LeBron, or Wade for that matter deserve a MVP while they play together? 8. Which Heat team do you like better, the championship team a few years ago, or this one? Why?
  12. I got a pick right finally for this playoffs, but it's very sad to watch this...gotta feel for Falcon fans.
  13. A good point was brought up on the radio last night: We don't deserve the first pick in the draft. Not only did LeBron quit on us, so has this organization. We haven't heard one word from Dan Gilbert at all...only some stupid tweet about looking forward to watching Manny Harris and the youngsters. We're taking the easy way out, and it's so pathetic. This whole organization is hiding and it seems like no one cares at all anymore. People had to invest money into season tickets, and they are out on an island as this organization as a whole neglects them and the rest of the fans. I'm getting the feeling that Dan Gilbert isn't going to care as much anymore and he'll bolt the city too, leaving us fans screwed again.
  14. When they talked about Dan Gilbert's letter being total racism I was cussing every word possible in my head. And then, to top it off...John Calipari says LeBron's the most loyal man he's ever met....I mean the show was entertaining, but how ignorant were they talking about the racism there?
  15. He obviously doesn't mind that this dream involves treating the Nugget fans like crap.
  16. On the brightside, we're not down 50.
  17. I like Atlanta, but I'll believe it when I see it in the playoffs. It's just because they've been like this the past three years now. I'd love to see them finally take it to the elite teams and become on themselves. That home crowd during the Boston series still gives me chills.
  18. It looks like he wants to rebuild or make room to sign a few players of his choosing. So why not dump the contract if you don't feel this team is going in the right direction. I understand what you mean, you'd think they could get more trading to him to a contender maybe.
  19. Rally behind? Season ticket holders had to renew during last season. So this year's attendence numbers are a sham. And you know what? We'll never know because Gilbert never had a chance to do anything. LeBron indeed didn't notify him, so we'll never know. We could've signed free agents while they were still out there, gotten a different coach, acquire picks for the draft to start building now etc... What he said about winning a title before LeBron was after the fact, and I already explained what went on before the decision is what propelled everything, not the decision itself. And I hate how people believe Cavs fans should remember the good years when we won over 60 the past two years...for the next five years, I'll try and forget we ever had a basketball team rather than remember the bittersweet seasons with the same damn ending: no title (followed by the shenanigans of not shaking hands, feeling sad for himself when he performs this way, ripping the jersey off his back)...the same seasons we should be "proud of".
  20. I'm not say it's "so much better", but you don't see fans going crazy about trying to keep him. They know what he wants, he's let it been known. He's not holding them along for the ride. Melo and LeBron are both overpaid, ignorant athletes. I wouldn't give either the benefit of the doubt. ----- The one thing I'll admit the Cavs did wrong was giving LeBron too much, if not, total power of this franchise. But how does that justify screwing it over? And because of LeBron, not telling us so we could do SOMETHING, we went from the closest team to winning a title in years here to far from a NBA team. The way he did this makes it hard for every Ohioan to enjoy what he brought us. That's something you guys just won't be able to understand I guess.
  21. You go into deep detail for the aftermath, but not the decision. You say it was simply "awful". Do you know that Dan Gilbert received zero knowledge of where LeBron was going until he announced in front of the world? You'd think after letting LeBron pick the players he wanted and running the show, common courtesy by LeBron would at least get a phone call. At least Carmelo is letting it be known he wants to leave. When LeBron, the man you have given everything to until now, suddenly stops talking to you and doesn't even take the time to honor his home state and tell the owner he's leaving, how do you expect people to react? We all have hearts, emotions...You know who started this mess...and that's why the karma is going to come back to haunt him.
