  1. Signing Matthews might've been the best move of the offseason for Portland. Can he replace Roy?
  2. Lmao the Spurs are just running away with this. Dallas started good and fed off the home crowd but this run by the Spurs...geesh... As I say that Manu hits a 3....26-5 run...ouch.
  3. That run down block by Kidd followed by Cardinal's 3 was one of the best sequences I've ever seen. Crowd reaction was insane. This is a great game so far. WCF preview?
  4. Actually, the Magic were losing before they traded him and the Suns and Magic had nearly the same records. Also, the Suns got just as far as Orlando did in the post season last year. Yeah, I know, no Amare, but Gortat should be happy he's been given an opportunity to no longer play as Dwight's shadow.
  5. I just started a My Player as an all around small forward. I put up Odom like numbers in the circuit, drafted by Portland. It frustrates me that they don't use current injuries and Oden is playing constantly. I was solid in the first game, but with Roy, Matthews, and Batum, I don't see much room for me to get playing time to win the ROTY. I'll probably request a trade. Hopefully in the future I'll be able to go to Cleveland and become the star and lead them to a title. I never really looked into My Player, but it is really addicting.
  6. How are they favoring OSU? The bowl game means absolutely nothing, but we lose half our offense for half the season. They only favored Cam Newton.
  7. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pIklIvAmME8 Here's a preview for the songs. It comes out 2/1/11...anyone else listen to them besides me?
  8. When Barrett comes back I guarantee you they'll probably be allies after Wade sees how Punk took over his group. For now though, it's nice to see Nexus still in the spotlight.
  9. Now this will be a quality game. No Dirk, but this Mavs team is still fully capable of competing.
  10. Verajao's better than half those centers listed. He only let Dwight score 12 pts when we played them.
  11. I think they'll get it together. They were fine before the trade and now they just need a week or so to get used to playing with Carter. They've won in LA, OKC, Houston, and Utah this year, so they obviously can still compete with playoff teams. I have no doubt they'll find a way somehow to make a run into the playoffs.
  12. It's official: 1 win in December. Ends probably the most devastating year in Cleveland sports. Didn't bother watching this.
  13. Wednesday, December 29th LA Lakers @ New Orleans Winner: Hornets Leading scorer: David West Thursday, December 30th New York @ Orlando (TNT) Winner: Magic Leading rebounder: Dwight Howard San Antonio @ Dallas (TNT) Winner: Spurs Leading passer: Jason Kidd Friday, December 31st Toronto @ Houston Winner: Houston Player with the most threes made: Kevin Martin Atlanta @ Oklahoma City Winner: Thunder Leading scorer: Kevin Durant Saturday, January 1st Golden State @ Miami Winner: Miami Leading scorer: LeBron Sacramento @ Denver Winner: Denver Player with the most free throws attempted: Chauncey
  14. This might be the worst team in Cavs history, and after an expected average first month (7-10 through November), this team is going into tonight's Bobcats game going for its second win of the month. A 1-13 record in December which includes a home loss to Minnesota, and blowouts at Philly and Minnesota. No one expected this huge of a decline after a solid first month. Looking forward, there aren't any players I can see worth keeping for the long-term future. I like Verajao's hustle and Boobie's grit, but that will only take you so far. Jamison still has another year left on his contract and we've seen Mo's inconsistency (he has even more years left on his contract). Besides talking about our "winning culture", Chris Grant has done nothing. With pretty much little to none desired talent on this team, is there any way to fix this mess? It's about as bad as it gets and it's unwatchable at this point. It's easy to say dump the team and tank for a top five pick, but that'll only get you so far.
  15. Minnesota has so many youngsters already. If anything, they should be looking to get proven talent to help with the development of Beasley, Flynn, Johnson, and Love.
  16. I'll be at this one. We've beaten Boston and NYK at home so who knows? I think Boobie still may be out with the flu, which hurts. He's our number one scorer lately. Interested in the Varejao/Dwight matchup.
  17. Terry deserves the 6th man award. This is gonna be a great year for Dallas.
  18. Read More At least we're starting to change some things.
  19. They played him a lot to showcase him so other NBA teams had something to look at when scouting him.
  20. That's a painful way to end the game for Sacramento. Tough, tough ending. Clippers possibly can make a season out of this if they keep this up. Who knows....
  21. I think Jameer Nelson did the same thing during the Pistons series a few years back.
  22. A superstar? Are you kidding me? He's a solid role player at best. I liked the guy, but I don't know where you see signs of a superstar.
