I want us to keep Mangini, but if he wants the Cleveland faithful on his side then he has to win this game. Two straight losses to two 2 win teams - this game is the perfect opportunity to revive his chances at returning. Josh Cribbs still hasn't gotten a TD return, so maybe he can break out.

That was probably the best ending of the year. Arizona's offense showed absolutely no positive signs all second half (I think they had one first down before the final drive of the game). Dallas got a huge TD from a QB playing his first game and you think they'll take a three point lead, but they miss the point after. On Arizona's following and final drive on a 4th & 15 the Arizona offense, which had been terrible for the whole half, goes to Fitzgerald and he gets only his second catch of the game. They get in field goal range and Feely, who's been great lately, nails the game winner. Feel good moment for an Arizona team which might've had a rougher year than Dallas given the terrible division they've in.

Denver at Oklahoma City
Cleveland's Finest replied to Real Deal's topic in Oklahoma City Thunder Team Forum
Those losses to San Antonio and now OKC for the Nuggets must be painful. I know they don't have Melo, but they should have won at least one of those games. They had the lead and were competitive. Lawson was great tonight, but all the bigs for Denver disappeared in the fourth. Nene had little impact, and Anderson made some big mistakes. JR's inconsistency continues also... They have a lot of talent and I think they can rebound from this. -
Aren't the Celtics 2-0 vs. Miami this year?

Minnesota at Cleveland
Cleveland's Finest replied to Real Deal's topic in Cleveland Cavaliers Team Forum
I'll be at this game. We lost to them by over 30 last time and they've only won one game since. I think the Cavs should definitely be looking to end this 1-12 run and get a solid home win here. We got Orlando coming Tuesday so why not pick up some steam heading into that game. -
The game was almost a replica of the Cavs/Lakers game. Lakers up 7-2 to start, down 9 at the half, and then Heat control basically rest of game. I might be wrong but didn't the Cavs win by 16 too?

ESPN's gonna have buttsex with LeBron over this for the rest of the season.

It seems Boston can just turn their game on whenever they want and take the lead as they please. They were down 13-0 and had no worries and took the lead with ease. Howard is having little to none impact. His leadership isn't showing at all. He already got his tenth technical this year? That's absolutely terrible. Arenas is having a solid game, and Anderson and Bass are doing a good job of getting to the line. Meanwhile, every player on Boston is working on the defensive end. Daniels got a few turnovers, Big Baby is taking up space in the paint, and they are fouling to not give up easy shots. Offensively they are communicating just as well. And this is without Rondo. In the past two years it seems like Boston has had their way with this team, and every other team in the east for that matter. It's because they have mental toughness.

The Bulls are missing too many shots this quarter. Knicks are looking very good today despite the turnovers.

Man last year at this time I thought we were ready for a championship after beating LA. It's amazing how things changed. Looking back, I think I learned to take less stock in these games. Nonetheless, I'm still excited for the games tomorrow. I expect Gasol and Fisher to have big games.

Watching ESPN, it's amazing how Wade is completely disregarded. Despite the switch to the Heat, ESPN still is showing LeBron/Kobe comparison charts in their previous meetings and I just heard one commentator say that the two names on the marquee are LeBron and Kobe. Are people still seriously comparing these two? And how is Wade just forgotten in all of this? He isn't on ESPN's top 10 for MVP candidates, yet LeBron is. It's quite absurd how LeBron still is held so highly in this elite category, and even more absurd that Wade is barely recognized.

The Suns are getting stops on defense now but need to convert on the other end. Nash still no points?

LeBron's opinion concerning contraction
Cleveland's Finest replied to Real Deal's topic in General NBA Discussion
I'm just waiting for him to say Cleveland shouldn't have a team. -
Another no call as Dragic goes to the rim to end the quarter. And is LeBron gonna showboat or raise his hands asking for a call after every single shot he takes?
-
That was a terrible call.

Change the rules for retired numbers?
Cleveland's Finest replied to Real Deal's topic in General NBA Discussion
They should drop retired numbers and just have "retired jerseys". I know it's not a problem now, but for some teams like LA and Boston with so many retired numbers, it could come to a point where players can't choose the number they want. I don't see the point in making a number not usable. Just retire the jersey. And players can wear those numbers to honor those players. -
Holy [expletive] awesome start for Phoenix. LBJ can't rely on Wade so this should be interesting.
-
I'm excited for this. Hopefully the Suns can turn a corner and come out hot with this new look. I was looking forward to seeing Carter play but still Pietrus and Gortat should be entertaining.

What do you think the new starting lineup will be? -
Phoenix at Oklahoma City

The Suns deserved this. When they lost control in the third they found a way to regain it. Frye has lost it; I didn't realize how much he's lost his shooting ability. I'll be rooting for this Suns team.
