  1. LBJ faced the Wizards, and look what happened to that team. The Hornets beat a Mavs team which comes up short every year, and Wade beat the Hornets in 7. He scored 2 points and 11 points in two of those games. My point is, while those were impressive, just admit that the competition Durant faced in his first series is head and shoulders above the competition LBJ, Wade, and CP3 dealt with. What Durant did last year is a huge sign looking forward. His combination of length and quickness is unparalleled.
  2. LEBRON??? He's probably the most talented, gifted athlete the NBA has ever seen, but get of of here with that. He has to play with Dwayne Wade to win a title, he has to play second fiddle. He gets a ZERO in clutch, and a ZERO in confidence. Durant's play on Team US showed a lot. He's tired right now so obviously he's not looking as good to start this season. Seriously though, if you think it's absurd to put him over LeBron, think again.
  3. Averaged 25 points and 8 rebounds in the series (while shooting 88 percent from the line) and came within a Gasol layup of taking the defending NBA champions to a game 7. Durant is what, 5 years younger than Wade? He's in the MVP discussion so is it that far out to say he's number two?
  4. One terrible playoff performance can have lasting implications. At some point the time runs out where you can give excuses such as he's too young, doesn't have enough help, etc...
  5. If number 2 has to play with Dwayne Wade to win a title, he is obviously not number 2. Durant is 2, CP3 is three, Wade is four, LeBron is five, Anthony is 6. CP3 was a top 3 player the year they got to the semis and he gained my trust back based on his play this year. Durant is 2 because look at his performance leading Team USA. Also, he didn't come up short in his playoff debut. Wade is over LBJ and Anthony because he won a ring, and LBJ is over Anthony because his playoff past. (Carmelo 1 for 7 in the first round...which is terrible.)
  6. Last stand today. Gotta win and stay afloat. Our offense should do better since we faced arguably the four best teams in our last four games, so McCoy should be more prepared. Cribbs isn't playing. :'(
  7. I'm impressed, but can he do this under pressure on a winning team? As of now, it's not an issue, but in a few years the Clippers better be winning.
  8. I don't see how this is easy for the Spurs. Every game the Cavs have played this year has been close, so I'm not worried about us being competitive. However, I am concerned with us not playing a complete game, leading to another close loss due to our lazy play. Hickson needs to step up his focus.
  9. David West was unstoppable and the 2nd quarter killed us. Every game we have a quarter where we are terrible. Hornets went on a 18-2 run to end the 2nd quarter. Mo was still adjusting to playing and his shot was off. Graham's ejection sucked. That was B.S. I understand it's a flagrant but he does not have to be ejected.
  10. I would love to see Minnesota take this. This would be a huge step in establishing their future with Beasley, Flynn, and Love.
  11. This is going to be an extremely tough to back to back, as we go to San Antonio tomorrow night. I'd love to see a win tonight. We need Boobie and Jamison hitting threes and Verajao playing scrappy, which could be enough to pull out an upset.
  12. I mean he's only played 10 games this year. He's had a few twenty point games, and a few bad games in which he played few minutes. But the fact that he has had a few twenty point games is something to regard. Were you guys expecting him to average 25 and 10? It's a whole new system and he's playing with a whole new set of players, and his discipline is still being worked on. He's still had his moments where he stands around on the court at times. However, with Byron Scott as the coach, I believe he'll develop. He won't be a MVP, but you cannot give up on him ten games into this season.
  13. Would love to see Phoenix win and the Heat get booed at home. I loved watching the Celtics beat them, and seeing the Suns beat on them would be even more fulfilling. Nash is going to have a big game.

  15. Nice to have some more Cavs fans on here. Stay active!
  16. Boobie played awesome. Graham played so well Hickson didn't play the end of the game. Verajao was playing hurt but he really defended Brand well and got on his nerves. Great win.
  17. Hopefully Mo or Verajao, preferably both, can come back tonight. Sadly, I see this as a close loss if neither play. 76ers have competed on the road in recent games and we just haven't pulled it together. We gotta give it our all and get back to .500. Go Cavs!
  18. Has anyone gotten it yet? I'm planning on getting it this weekend. IGN gave it an 8, Gametrailers gave it a 9, and the video reviews are up from there too. It seems like the game is largely the same as last year and the atmosphere or Rome is incredible. I really want it...looks great. Multiplayer and recruiting fighters look fun
  19. This is unexpected....could this be worse than their MNF game against the Giants last year?
  20. Brady has three rings. TO partly destroyed three teams during his tenure in SF, Philly, and Dallas, and he's all about himself. Self-promotion.
  21. If I was a Suns fan I'd be pissed to think that the Suns even consider this. Suns can make the playoffs as it is so why trade Nash. Nash needs to end his career in Phoenix.
  22. Kinda ironic...the two teams the Browns beat, Saints and Pats, beat the Steelers the following week on Sunday night games.
  23. If the big three are healthy in the playoffs, they will probably knock off LA. I'm sure the Spurs want to end their dynasty with a big mark. I'd love to see the Spurs win it all.Season just started though, but impressive win in OKC.
