LeBron says Heat 'will let our game do the talking'
Cleveland's Finest replied to Flash's topic in Miami Heat Team Forum
You said Kwame Brown. Ok let's say we got Greg Oden like the Trail Blazers. Do you see Portland fans hating on him? So I don't agree that if we got a bad player it'd matter. Every chance LeBron had, he discredited the city, but people didn't mind because we truly believed in the end he was in our corner. We still refused to believe it when he showed signs of being arrogant, because we knew he was one of us. But then when the playoffs ended, people were sort of leaning, and if he left it'd be bad, but not as bad as how he actually left us. We let him treat us however he wanted. We put up with all of the extra crap and in the end he put the dagger in us. He said he left a foundation in Cleveland. Really? Are we really better off now than we were when we drafted him? And if you believe he orchestrated this, he's the reason we didn't get Ray Allen or Michael Redd 4 years ago, he wanted Shaq, he wanted Jamison, he wanted his posse to get a ride on all team flights. We stood for all of it. But to just shrug his dismissal off like it was no big deal would be absurd. This has been adding up and the final blow made it more harsh. LeBron threw all the punches and was always in control. -
At least upcoming. His improvement over the past few years in no reason to think he could be an all star in the near future. Pretty much every team in the West besides Minnesota can make the playoffs. LA, Dallas, Portland, San Antonio, and Oklahoma City are all guarantees, but then there's so many above average to average teams left. Houston, New Orleans (Paul and Ariza), Denver (Melo situation), Phoenix (how good will Hedo and Childress be with them), Memphis (last year showed signs), Utah (How good is Jefferson on a team with expectations), and Sacramento and Golden State are also possible. Besides the Clippers and Timberwolves, the last few spots in the playoffs are open for most teams.

If Miami Didn't get LBJ
Cleveland's Finest replied to Check my Stats's topic in Miami Heat Team Forum
Well they would have more money left to still sign players, so they'd be good still. I'd say it would be Orlando, Boston, and Chicago and then Miami, and then the other teams. Miami could still be elite. It's not like they couldn't get the best record. It is Wade and Bosh, and that's a really good duo. I mean look at the Kobe/Pau duo. -
Rather than say the Cavs, I'll pick another team. The Kings will be like the Thunder of last year imo. Evans and Thompson are a legit duo. Udrih is the perfect complement in the back court for Tyreke. Then they have Dalembert and Whiteside, so size won't be an issue against teams like LA and Boston. Yes, the talent gap is there, but the size certainly helps. Garcia is perfect for hitting threes on the wing, and Casspi is versatile, and had a fantastic rookie season. Then you have Luther Head and Carl Landry, who both have had success; Landry was almost an all-star. If the Kings can fit him into the offense so he plays like he did in Houston, then the Kings could have 4 future stars, in Evans, Thompson, Landy, and Cousins. Cousins is also an X-factor. Being in the division with the Clippers and Warriors, they certainly have a chance. They have a lot of depth and a lot of talent spread throughout each position. We also know how good their coaching is...they lost a lot of close games last year, and remember the comeback against Chicago from 30 points down last year? I see that being enough to get them at the 8 seed.

LeBron says Heat 'will let our game do the talking'
Cleveland's Finest replied to Flash's topic in Miami Heat Team Forum
LeBron was not that good last post season. When you think of a leader you think of a guy who won't give up until the very end. He gave up in the final minutes of Game 6. Never seen something like that from a team. Another thing you rarely see is a guy rip his jersey off after the game and throw it for all the cameras to record. Then he talks about "him and his team" merely a few minutes later in the post game conference. You'd think his team meant the Cavs, but no, he's already referring to the free agency. As if getting eliminated didn't frustrate him. Just a shrug of the shoulders and then he follows it up with his excitement for the offseason. And if you think he's clutch and a leader, check Game 5 of the Boston series. Watch it all and if you never knew how LBJ was you'd think he was some average starter and wander what the hype was for. Cleveland competed with Orlando two years ago, and Boston three years ago, so don't tell me it was the talent as the excuse for last year, because they were always close in games, but never got blown out like that. He quit on us. If you don't believe it, then at least agree that he underperformed. He was the MVP. MVPs don't let their team lose by 30 at home. MVPs don't bring up elbow injuries. MVPs don't quit on their team. MVPs shouldn't need Dwayne Wade to win a title. I haven't ripped a Heat fan at all. This post gives reasons as to why I believe LeBron isn't clutch and a is a poor leader, and therefore I believe Wade will have to be the leader and at the same time cater to LeBron's needs. This isn't an unfair comment, so I see no reason for anyone to dismiss it and just say "He's still sad about his hero leaving Cleveland." -
Chances Indiana makes the playoffs
Cleveland's Finest replied to Real Deal's topic in Indiana Pacers Team Forum
I dno where you guys are getting Washington and Detroit from. Neither have proven big men. Cavs better than both. Pacers have a chance, but I see a 30 win season unless Granger is really good. -
LeBron says Heat 'will let our game do the talking'
Cleveland's Finest replied to Flash's topic in Miami Heat Team Forum
Look who started it. Never said anything about Heat fans or the team, I think I still haven't. Now you guys are creating a controversy and feel like you are on top of the world since people are "bashing" your team. Yeah right. -
LeBron says Heat 'will let our game do the talking'
Cleveland's Finest replied to Flash's topic in Miami Heat Team Forum
Sorry my opinion can't change over the years after seeing someone's true colors? Even then it's irrelevant. It's not like I kissed his [expletive] last year....I hated on him in the playoffs. -

Cleveland's Finest replied to Flash's topic in Miami Heat Team Forum
Or LeBron is MVP of the regular season but not MVP in the playoffs. He never gets any blame. Such a shame. And btw....the fact that you post a pic of a member in a thread is pretty sad...and creepy. Seriously....if I even thought of that I wouldn't do that. It's nice to know you have that in the back of your head. So the comment on the first page about me just complaining and now posting a friggin pic of me randomly? You guys are just egging me on.... -
Lmao...Verajao a 68? Worse than last year's rating. Come on...at least the low 70's.

Ok....we had Shaq last year...he wasn't a top ten player at the time also but because he was top 50 all time you could use the same argument then.... -
LeBron says Heat 'will let our game do the talking'
Cleveland's Finest replied to Flash's topic in Miami Heat Team Forum
LeBron only had Antawn Jamison, Mo Williams, Shaq, Delonte, etc....and may I remind you he chose Jamison over Amare because if we got Amare then he'd have pressure to win it all. But apparently guys like Melo and LeBron nowadays....how dare they lead a 50-60 win team with all-stars/veterans to a championship....no way, LeBron needs a top 3 player and a top 10 player if he wants to win it all. Just shows how badly he's sunk. Wade had Shaq when they won the title, but he was the guy who singlehandedly won the four straight games. He didn't have a top ten player with him. Shaq was good, but not top 10 then. Now LeBron needs the team of all stars to win it all to the point where it doesn't make him look like a special talent anymore. Now he's the complimentary player. He's submitted to Wade's rule. -
LeBron says Heat 'will let our game do the talking'
Cleveland's Finest replied to Flash's topic in Miami Heat Team Forum
Actually, some stars can win it all by themselves. D-Wade went superman on the Mavericks in the finals. LeBron just realizes he can't do it like Michael. He thinks it'll work now (duh) with a player who's better than him and another all star. The best part of the interview was when he said he'll take the last shot of the game. Heat fans will realize what a fake glorified scam this guy is when they see him hiding behind Wade's cape when the pressure is on. It might not even strike you until the playoffs how this scum acts. -
Cavs Sign DJ Mbenga
Cleveland's Finest replied to Cleveland's Finest's topic in Cleveland Cavaliers Team Forum
We need a guy who will give hard fouls, ESPECIALLY when we play Prince James. With guys like Mo and Jamison who will make plays, we can use a banger like Mbenga. More power than Hollins and Verajao. -
WK3: San Francisco @ Kansas City
Cleveland's Finest replied to Real Deal's topic in NFL Gameday Archives
Chiefs are good. Oddly enough, 2 teams may come out of the AFC West. Remember, the Charges ALWAYS get hot at the end of the season before, of course, getting eliminated early in the playoffs. Chiefs very impressive. 49ers...I'm stunned. Could the Seahawks, Cardinals, or dare I say Rams (if they do indeed beat Washington today) possibly come out of that division? -
We were winning 17-14 in the 4th quarter. But we held the ball for only 4 minutes of the 15 minute fourth quarter. Ugh.
-
Tampa Bay has beaten Cleveland and Carolina. How people think Tampa Bay is good all the sudden is a joke. Sure, 2-0 is respectable, but they haven't beaten a quality NFL team, not even an average NFL team.
-
Maybe since we're not playing a team we expect to beat, and given all the injuries, we can pull off a win.

Carmelo still wants out Page 4 in this thread
Cleveland's Finest replied to magicbalala245's topic in General NBA Discussion
This is the most unsportsmanlike, arrogant situation. It's becoming a train wreck and making Carmelo look worse and worse. If they give up Favors and Harris, what makes you think the Nuggets will contend? With a team of Chauncey, Nene, Kenyon, JR, etc...they had a hard time passing the 1st round. On the Nets, without Favors and Harris, you have Lopez, Outlaw, and....? -

Saw a bit of the game. A lot of injuries in the game. If this is the best team in the Big East, then that conference has a long way to go. Miami will win the ACC probably. Best Miami could've done coming off the OSU loss.
