  1. This game has no fluidity. Every year live gets more and more choppy and hard to watch.
  2. Johnson and Melo, duo of underachievers on one team. If the Nuggets could get Crawford, Smith, Bibby, Horford and picks and the Hawks get JR, Nene, Billups, Melo, I'd consider that a good deal. Nuggets get two guys to build around in Smith, Horford, and have Lawson there. The Hawks give up youth to contend now and finally have a true center in Nene and a true leader in Chauncey.
  3. No. If LBJ stayed and there never was a behind the scenes thing going on with the collusion between him and Wade, Bosh, then I'd believe guys like Melo and CP3 would stay and create their own legacy without requiring superstar help. When LBJ left, however, I realized that the players run everything in this league. Besides Kevin Durant, a rare exception, all young, big names want the fame and they want superstars to play with them so they can run the league and get more fame and money out of it.
  4. Browns @ Tampa Bay - W Kansas City - W @ Baltimore - L Cincinnati - W Atlanta - L @ New Orleans - L @ Pittsburgh - L New England - L New York Jets - W @ Carolina - W Jacksonville - W @ Miami - L @ Buffalo - W @ Cincinnati - W Baltimore - L Pittsburgh - W With an easy start to the schedule, facing Tampa and KC, I think the Browns can pull out a 2-0 start. From there, anything can happen. But I think they'll go 7-7 from there on. To me, the Bengals and Steelers won't be anything special, and be around .500, allowing us to capitalize and go 3-1 against both. The Ravens, however, will be good so I don't see us beating them. Buffalo and Jacksonville should be close, and I think Delhomme will make sure he beats Carolina. Only game which is a risk is the Jets, but I predict them to be ready in Braylon's return to Cleveland. 9-7, Browns, I know. But I've gotta hope. I think Delhomme will have a year like Pennington did for the Dolphins coming off the 1-15 season.
  5. First you guys were convinced LeBron would be a Net, now this. Melo wants a star. So does CP3.
  6. Knew he was leaving. And I still think CP3 will leave. The inmates run the asylum. Never thought LeBron would leave and have this whole thing with colluding with players. Now after his decision, I believe that all these guys will go to the big cities to play with the big names for the big money.
  7. If this is basketballI think winning a championship ring is more rewarding. For over 8 months, these guys are traveling around the country playing games, sometimes back to back. And you have to be a team. You can't just get away with having a team of all stars. In the record books an Olympic medal is more famous and patriotic, but I feel that a ring rewards the players from a personal perspective.
  8. Wow, that's really interesting. How'd you find this? I'm sure some songs would sound more epic if something like this happened too. Nice find.
  9. Eh I got these essays to write for tomorrow and I held it off all summer and I still have no motivation to start writing. I'm so screwed if I can't do this successfully.
  10. Senior year in high school begins tomorrow for me.
  11. JJ Hickson potential all-star this year imo.
  12. I liked Ricky Davis a lot when he was with the Cavs, also Tyrone Hill. Ira Newble was always a hard working player I liked too.
  13. As long as the site is active now, especially since its the offseason and free agency/draft is over, does it really matter? If the site was dead then I'd be worried.
  14. The blue/orange jersey is only worn in orange also, not red and white as you said. And the bottom one has only been worn in yellow.
  15. I mean, how many athletes have their team sell tickets to fans to watch them dance with a few other stars on stage, guaranteeing titles and acting like jackasses. Zero. I don't need to see you on national TV shoving your ego into our faces.
  16. Melo is going to a team with an all star. I know the Nets have Lopez and Harris, but Amare is a bigger name and star.
  17. I don't see what Bosh really accomplished. His exit from Toronto left a bad taste and Hedo wasn't a star on the team. Bosh crapping on the city and how he wanted to leave, and how he never even considered staying. Also seeing him do the stupid party in Miami the night after the betrayal by Prince James is pathetic.
  18. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lcs440fhYws I like this song a lot.
  19. For anyone who has ESPN insider, can you tell me where the Cavs are and what they say about the Cavs franchise?
  20. For a third round pick who's built up and treated like a star, I'd be kind of mad that he only got us past the first round once in 7 years. He was overshadowed by LeBron, and righfully so because LeBron got past the first round 5 years.
  21. I hope the Knicks don't get him because then the Cavs definitely won't make the playoffs and I'll have nothing to hope for.
  22. If Melo goes there it's only a matter of time before CP3 does. all six stars in the same state. They can party it up 24/7 and control the league.
  23. I'm sort of indifferent towards Wade. You are right, there's no reason to hate him. I just don't get why he felt he needed them. He always seemed like the one young superstar who was above it all. He had the ring, he was clutch and a true leader, and he was loyal. But then again I also don't like him because who he's friends with and his party.
  24. Well D-Wade and Bosh had cameras following them during their free agency, even Wade watching LeBron's "Decision"...his reaction being videotaped...really? It's that all summer they have been so interested in themselves.
  25. http://www.nba.com/cavaliers/media/jerseys_100817_225.jpg http://www.nba.com/cavaliers/media/jerseys_100817_590.jpg Go to cavs.com for more info. I like them, especially the home. I hated the blue. And it helps clear the memories of that dreaded scum that wore the old uniform.
