Are Heat the next Bad Boys, or just misunderstood?
Cleveland's Finest replied to Flash's topic in Miami Heat Team Forum
Wade isn't but it's odd how he wants to play with stars considering he won a title as the sole star. Bosh is a baby and his comments about Toronto are rude and annoying. LeBron is Prince James and apparently was acting the past 7 years as we see who he really is. They are all boys. Just watch their party in Miami. And what they did was pretty bad. I mean you have Bosh and James taking cheap shots at their former teams all summer. James is even isolating Cleveland and trying to make a war. That's how desperate they are for media attention. They all haven't shut up yet so it remains bad. Are they bad boys of the NBA? No. They are superstars. Lights, Cameras, Glamor. They live for the starlight, not basketball. -
It makes me sick how he's trying so hard to make a war between the two cities. It's making me feel disgusted knowing I was born where LeBron was born. He's so into himself and his image. How ironic. He had no father and he's isolating himself from his kids and they are essentially fatherless, just they have all the perks.

Heat fans will still say something like, "Cleveland fans didn't deserve him. He spoiled them and they didn't respect him. It was his choice. He did what was best for his family." I'm from Akron, and have no animosity towards Cleveland. He's making this [expletive] up to make him look like some rebellious hero.

John Salmons and Michael Redd, along with Chris Douglas-Roberts, played the bulk of the point guard position. The Bucks couldn't defend the Cavs point guards, as Mo Williams, Ramon Sessions, and Daniel Gibson combined for 45 points. Mo and Boobie went a combined 10 of 15 from three point land, and it seemed like every three they shot went in. The Bucks lacked their true playmaker, and it showed. The team took mostly jump shots and struggled in running plays successfully. Those unsuccessful plays translated to turnovers, giving the Cavs momentum. The Cavs put up 40 in the first quarter, sending a shock wave throughout the arena, just bolting the fans and the Bucks. The Bucks were down 9 points at one point in the third quarter, but the Cavs made sure it wouldn't get any closer. Opening up a 10-0 run in the 4th quarter closed the game as the Cavs clinched their second win of the season. http://community.2ksports.com/community/storage/media/v/l3/l2425/m2426459.jpgDaniel Gibson had 15 points along with 5 threes. http://media.cleveland.com/startingblocks/photo/new-cavaliers-secondary-logojpg-3e1cc85a3e691cec_small.jpgCavaliers Extra Post-Game Comments Daniel Gibson - "I just felt it tonight and my team kept giving me good looks. It feels good when you can hit all those threes and bring home a victory at the same time. Byron Scott - "That was the perfect game. We got down on D and didn't let up. Of course it's always nice when you can hit those threes lights out, but I was happy with our offense in general. Game Notes - Daniel Gibson hadn't made a single three this season until tonight, in which he made five. - Samardo Samuels played a few minutes in the 4th and seemed like he knew what was going on. - Joey Graham is emerging as a top scorer on this team. Mo and Jamison were expected top scorers, but Graham is stunning the Cavs organization. We'll see how this continues - Cavs have a five game home stand coming up after their trip to Portland. Only a few weeks away from Miami at home. Game 4: @ Trail Blazers (11/6/10) Coming up: Power Rankings, Around the League News -
Carmelo Has No Timeline On Extension Decision
Cleveland's Finest replied to ChosenOne's topic in Denver Nuggets Team Forum
Everyone said LeBron wouldn't play with a star like Wade in Miami. You realize that for Amare, Carmelo, and Parker/CP3 to team up and be able to play LBJ, Wade, Bosh would make them feel like they own the league basically. It would be those two teams almost every year in the ECF. Also, Carmelo, Amare, and CP3 want what LeBron has. You saw that when CP3 demanded to leave earlier and when rumors came of Carmelo leaving. -
RD went into in depth detail. I'm tired of going into in depth deal. You guys say triple double and just look at the stats. You saw Game 5. He was outside the 3 point line every play. He shot that one free throw left handed vs. Chicago. What kind of man does that. It's so BS. How aout all those turnovers? How about quitting in the final minute with no emotion. I don't know how much he scored in the final minutes when we truly needed him. 78-74....then he quit. Watch the freaking Game 5 and 6 post game press conference. He could give a [expletive] about the games while us fans invested so much into watching these games. All along they weren't even going to win. That's a TERRIBLE feeling. Enough with the teammates didn't help him. They gave him a 4 pt lead in mid-3rd quarter, even a 4 pt game in the 4th. How much does he need? A top 3 player? and another top 10 player? In Game 5 you think LBJ was even close to being so good that he could use to the "I needed help excuse"? How about Game 4, when the team gave him a two point game with minutes left and we lost. The team did nothing wrong. Stop that crap. These days it's like a star needs three more all stars to win. At that point they aren't a star. Realize that our team wasn't the quitter. It was him. God Damnit.

Legends speak on LeBron

+1 These players are kids nowadays. They are colluding on where to go, partying it up together, and using the media to further their brand. All this crap wasn't around in the old NBA when there were men playing the game. -
I hope they don't focus on all these MJ modes so much that they don't have time for association improvements, sort of like how Madden completely ignored franchise mode this year.

This isn't something that the NBA will be able to move on from. It only proves more so that the inmates are running the asylum in the NBA. And Cleveland fans certainly won't ever move on. Even now it's still the highlight of most talk shows here. -

Bulls Rock Cavs at the Q http://community.2ksports.com/community/storage/media/v/l3/l2419/m2420857.jpgRamon Sessions tries to keep up with Derrick Rose, the court general of the Bulls. It only took one day for that excitement to come to a screeching halt. One day later, the Chicago Bulls came to town. The newly renovated Bulls with additions of Carlos Boozer, Kyle Korver, and Ronnie Brewer (who had 29 points combined) strolled into the Q with intensity and determination. That translated on the court. The game opened up with a fast pace. The Q was rocking, and the Cavs were running the Bulls up and down the court. It was hard, however, for the Cavs to find a consistent scorer and that hurt them as the game continued. The Bulls relied on Luol Deng's outstanding first half performance. His 19 points in the first half kept the Cavs from making any sort of come back. The Cavs made a run to start the half, and made it a 10 point game. However, the Bulls quickly got back to their lockdown defense and took a 27 point lead at one point. By then, the game was pretty much decided and the Cavs and Bulls put in their substitutes. http://media.cleveland.com/startingblocks/photo/new-cavaliers-secondary-logojpg-3e1cc85a3e691cec_small.jpgCavaliers Extra Post-Game Comments Mo Williams - "Deng was hitting all those shots and we just couldn't keep it up. I couldn't make the threes that I attempted so it was a bad night for me." Byron Scott - "I'll be the first to admit that this wasn't pretty. I liked our hustle early on, but you have to keep that up. I believe that our guys lost some of that, especially on the defensive end. We have to be more on it defensively when we face Milwaukee." Game Notes - Sessions was a lot more involved and his assist count showed. Could use a little more in terms of scoring, but overall was an improvement. - The defense is lacking. Sessions was able to defend Rose fairly well, but Deng had his way with the wings. - Moon had a good contribution when he was in the game. Could see more of him in the rotation - Starting line up could have some tweaks. Jamison could be moving to SF, with Verajao starting at C and Hickson moving to PF. - Hickson scored more points, but the Cavs are looking for a lot more from him. Game 3: @ Bucks (11/3/10) -

Facing a slightly redone Nets team, the Cavs played their first game without LeBron in 7 years. Things started shaky, as the Cavs only put up 15 points in the first quarter. However, the offense picked up in the 2nd quarter. The half ended with a buzzer beating 3 from Mo Williams from around half court. Coming out of the half, Coach Byron Scott had his Cavs ready. The Cavs opened up a 14-2 run and took a 51-40 lead. The Nets, however, came rolling back. The guard-center combo of Devin Harris and Brook Lopez kept the Nets offense in good flow, as both combined for 47 of the Nets' 74 points. The Cavs were down by three when the fourth quarter began. In the waning minutes of the game, the Cavs took a 71-69 lead. On the Nets' next possession, Devin Harris made a three point shot to give the Nets a 72-71 lead. But the Cavs, lead by Jamison, came back. On the following possession, Jamison took one of his awkward shots in the paint and got the and one. Making the free throw, the Cavs took a 74-72 lead. However, Devin Harris made it clear that this game wasn't over yet. He drove to the basket for the easy lay up, stunning the Cavs. The crowd went crazy. With 9 seconds left, though, the Cavs still wanted to win. With no timeouts left, Ramon Sessions ran the ball up the floor, handed it off the the hot hand, Jamison. Jamison caught the ball in the post, turned around to take the 10 foot jumper, and nailed it. The Nets had no time to retaliate, and the Cavs had won the game. http://media.cleveland.com/startingblocks/photo/new-cavaliers-secondary-logojpg-3e1cc85a3e691cec_small.jpgCavaliers Extra Post-Game Comments Antawn Jamison - "My team needed me tonight and I delivered. We have a lot to overcome this season and I think that we can do some things. It feels really good to start off on a good note." Byron Scott - "I saw a lot of positives on the court tonight. We got the job done and won a tough contested game. There's always going to be calls or plays that you regret, but we have to get past that. We've got a tough game tomorrow at home so we have to be ready." Game Notes - Ramon Sessions and Ryan Hollins looked lost at some points during the game. Sessions had only 4 points and had 5 fouls which handicapped his game. Hollins has a lot of work to do if he wants more playing time. - Mo Williams looks like a lock for starting shooting guard. Played off the ball extremely well. - JJ Hickson had some moments but the team expects more from him now. Had only 9 points. - It looks like the team is going to be running most games. Most of the night, the Cavs were up tempo and on the break. Joey Graham had a few impressive dunks to help the momentum. The defense is also a good sign so far. Game 2: Home Opener vs. Bulls (10/31/10) -
Regular Season, it's a toss up. Playoffs, Wade. So if I need a guy for a game that matters, D-Wade. This far in, after all LeBron's failures and sad excuses for performances in the playoffs, people still think he's up there. Amazing.

Z. Most loyal, classy guy I've known in the NBA. Was an all-star, and can only imagine how good he could've been if not for the few seasons he fully missed due to his injuries. -
