  1. Knicks and Nets will be stuck with the Lee, Boozer, Johnson, Gay.....not that it's bad, but they'll have to pay much more money than they should. Clippers will get no one imo. Heat and Bulls will get Amare or Bosh.
  2. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xZKZ-KmR5Qw Just remembered this. Flat out sick how he sticks it to him.
  3. Evan Turner: the perfect leader for any basketball team. Great basketball IQ and very worthy of being a franchise star.
  4. LBJ is staying in Cleveland. I said from the outright if we won it all he'd leave, if we don't he stays. In the end, the Cavs have had 60 plus win seasons the past two years, and there's no reason to think they'll be terrible next year. When he resigns, the sign and trade for Bosh deal goes down and we get him his second star. Winning in Cleveland is the biggest of moments that could ever happen for LBJ. Also he'll get his 30 mil. Remember how we got Shaq, Jamison for basically nothing? Same thing will happen in Bosh deal because our management owns.
  5. Sort of like LBJ, Joe Johnson's playoff performance last year has been forgotten and it seems as though teams are ignoring the players success when it matters. Come playoffs when these guys are tested, they'll regret handing this money out.
  6. Wow....Joe Johnson doesn't deserve a max deal. People always put him in the upper echelon of players. Look at his playoff performance vs. Orlando, being booed off by Atl. The first team to be let down by free agency after years of excitement and hype.....the New York Knicks.
  7. http://www.lsusports.net/ViewArticle.dbml?DB_OEM_ID=5200&ATCLID=204964257 Anyone know much about this guy?
  8. Article on ESPN says Bosh and LeBron to Chicago is a done deal. Let's just not believe this stuff until it happens.
  9. Steve Nash. 2 Time MVP, 7 time all star, 3 time first team all NBA.
  10. Has to be Shaq and Kobe. Shaq was one of the most dominant players in the game. Scottie wasn't that good. Shaq much better than Scottie, MJ a little better than Kobe.
  11. I think he could be a future starting shooting guard. I've seen him play and he can dominate a game. Hopefully he has a good showing this summer or at least shows potential so we can stick with him.
  12. Same reason the Bucks traded Mo Williams to the Cavs for Joe Smith and Damon Jones. Same reason the Suns traded 3rd team all NBA at the time Shaq for Ben Wallace and Pavlovic. Money. Okafor's contract compared to his production is a huge disappointment. And Collison needs to go. See how bad they were in the final few games of the season trying to give time to CP3 and Collison. Same type of player. One must go.

  14. That's the risk you take when you want a championship team. They had the best regular season record two years in a row and went for the jugular in terms of trades and even then it didn't work. LBJ wanted these moves too.
  15. Okafor is a solid guy at center though. I'd see Verajao playing the minutes that matter late in the game, but we need a serviceable center. Okafor is strong and a good rebounder.
  16. Like Jason Terry, Mo could be the sixth man, but in the fourth quarter if needed, he can play in the final minutes.
  17. This deal is a very likely deal that I think could be the best deal the Cavs can make now to improve their team and give LeBron some incentive to return. Cavs Get: Darren Collison Emeka Okafor Hornets Get: Delonte West Sebastian Telfair Daniel Gibson Future Draft Pick This is honestly the perfect move. The Cavs don't have a a starting center right now, and Okafor could come in and fit that role. We take in his contract and the Hornets would love to get rid of that contract. Next, we get a starting point guard to build on the future with LeBron in Darren Collison. He took so many strides last year, leading a mediocre Hornets team and keeping them in some contention for awhile while Chris Paul was injured. We lose three guards, but we can still sign a guard for the MLE also. This move puts Mo Williams on the bench, and I think that's where he could shine and be possible six man of the year. The Hornets would get solid backups in Telfair and Gibson for Thornton and Paul, as well as receive Delonte's expiring contract. Getting Okafor's contract off is the main part of the Hornets wanting this move. Here's where the lineup would be so far: Darren Collison/Mo Williams Anthony Parker/Mike Miller? LeBron James/Jamario Moon/Jawad Williams Antawn Jamison/JJ Hickson/Leon Powe Emeka Okafor/Anderson Verajao/Z LeBron certainly has no star yet, but Collison, Mo, and Hickson are three pieces that you could build around LeBron for the next five or so years. Once the Cavs make that move and if LBJ decides to stay, I think they can take a chance at getting a Bosh or Stoudemire. The Cavs should make this trade to solidify their needs at Center and bench before free agency begins. Okafor at C and Mo becoming firepower off the bench fills those needs just fine. Whether we trade JJ, Jamison, Parker, and a pick for Bosh, or whether it involves Verajao or not, this Hornets/Cavs trade sets the Cavs up well for the future with or without LeBron because it gives them to youngsters in JJ and Collison to build on. And if LBJ decides to stay in Cleveland, then the Cavs have a solid roster with two great point guards and they are in position to make a huge sign and trade deal.
  18. One step closer to July 1st. LBJ probably having dreams about it already.
  19. Hornets won't do that...why trade Paul if you're just going to bring more guards in and still hold back Collison and Thornton? Hornets want picks and expirings for Paul so they can build on their future. Not an aging above average shooting guard and a highly offensive guard who would take minutes from Thornton and Collison.
  20. so funny seeing the Knicks fans reactions on ESPN
  21. So much for the Cavs doing anything. Looks like they'll go into free agency with no new picks and no coach. Gah.
