Now that we've finished the first decade of the new century, which game was the best from 2000-2009 in the NBA? I'd say Spurs/Lakers Game 5 of the 04' semis. Duncan and Fisher with clutch shots in the final seconds. And it was the climax of their rivalry. Whole game was competitive. Other candidates for me are: Game 7 Celtics/Cavs (LBJ/Pierce duel was sick) Game 5 Pistons/Cavs (LBJ's performance) Game 1 Spurs/Suns 2007 (double OT classic, still remember Duncan's three) Kobe's 81 points Game 1 Sixers/Lakers, AI's sick performance winning the game pretty much by himself Celtics/Bulls, the game that went triple OT last year What is the game of the decade for you guys?

This is what I've been saying. He doesn't want to play in New Jersey. He wants to play in Brooklyn. Knicks have no talent and have had little to none success the past deacde so he doesn't want to go there. And he certainly doesn't want to be second tier to the Yankees. And he won't go to Chicago to play with mini-LeBron in Derrick Rose, who commands the ball just as much. He'll stay in Cleveland for three years, and then if we win a ring he'll stay.

I think everyone knows that LeBron's been acting like this since the Boston series.

I guess the Spurs will commit fully to George Hill. Not that bad an idea. He's been great and if they can get Murphy, Rush, and a top 10 pick for Parker, I'd say it's worth it.

One positive for LA: Sasha and Farmar hustled and made a pair of threes in the fourth. Sasha had a big possession, winning the jumpball vs. Uno Uno, getting an offensive rebound, and dishing it to Farmar for a three. And Farmar had a good hustle play.

Artest had absolutely no impact offensively, and Odom needs to play a bigger role in these games. Gasol, Bynum, Fisher, and Bryant look good when called upon, but Artest and Odom need to contribute much more. 1-10 for Artest? Ugly ending to a sloppy game. Throughout this game there were spurts where both teams played carelessly and gave up open shots. Lakers looked unbeatable in mid-4th quarter, but I don't know what happened. That one possession when they were down 7 and Artest kept dribbling and then threw up a contested shot was hideous. Kobe got a 3 right after but still, Kobe needed more touches then, and down the stretch as a whole.

Getting Jose here could help in recruiting Bosh to Cleveland. I'm fine with any move at this point. I like Mo, but it's not like I'll go crazy if we lose him. Mo has this year's playoffs to prove that last year's horrific playoff run was a barrage for him. And well, he was just as bad this year despite LeBron also contributing to our demise. As long as Andy, Jamison (who I think deserves a full year with us before we give up), and Z stay, along with LeBron, I could care less what happens.
