GM6: Cleveland (2) @ Boston (3)
Cleveland's Finest replied to Real Deal's topic in Boston Celtics Team Forum
Each year I've lost more and more respect for LeBron. He seems like a punk to me. What are his priorities, really? It makes me wonder why I'd even be proud if he came back. Dan Gilbert spent so much money and he gets no reward again. This is just a train wreck and it's just begun. Again, is this really happening? -

I feel so bad for Z right now. Something just doesn't feel right at all about how this ended. I mean, I've always depended on the Cavs as a team that fights. The way this ended and the playoffs as a whole have been so awkward because I've never seen the Cavs or LeBron play like this. I don't know where we go from here. And again, knowing that Z might be done just leaves a bitter feeling knowing what could've been. -

LeBron didn't bring his A game. Hate to say it, but Wade and Kobe got it with Shaq. And you know what? All the blame goes on Mike Brown, and it shouldn't be that way. LeBron padded his stats to say he got the triple double. And now for the next two months, I get to watch ESPN forget that there ever was a Cavs franchise and focus on LeBron's free agency. This is so surreal and miserable. Nothing can explain it. -

I don't know what to expect. I'm just gonna hope and cheer for my team. If they win, they break through and keep hope alive. If they lose, everything will come crashing down and the questions surrounding the state of this franchise are countless. -
LeBron Could Have Torn Ligament In Elbow
Cleveland's Finest replied to The Regime's topic in Cleveland Cavaliers Team Forum
LeBron did say there are no excuses for what that's worth. I think the Cavs should've considered sitting him for Game 5. We saw how good he was Game 3 with four days rest, and if we were going to get blown out in game five anyways, might as well have rested him. -

And the one series the Celtics did lose in that situation was last year. Amazing how things come full circle. Another game 6. Remember last year game 6 in Orlando, LeBron was very passive when we needed him most and we lost pretty bad. That's what hurts the hope I'm trying to have for this game. -

LeBron will stick it to Cavs fans and end our hope. And he's going to love every minute of it because he's one step closer to New York. -

I know this series is over. Last year I had the feeling some of you are expressing. I was like, oh, we won game five at home against Orlando, and we're going to win Game 6 in Orlando and then Game 7 will be epic. And then Dwight has forty plus. I'm not going to prepare myself for some mega comeback. The Cavs have no mental toughness. Mike Brown can get canned, but fans better not let LeBron get away with this. 2 number one seeds, two wasted seasons, five storied seasons all with failures in the goal at hand. Honestly, this is rock bottom and it's a damn shame because I always picture Z winning a championship in Cleveland and to think that could never happen just gives me a bad feeling. -
Jamison, Mo, and picks. I thought the T-Wolves were going to get rid of Love or Jefferson. Heck, I'd take Ryan Hollins at center. He could run the floor. Point is, I want a young and athletic center.

If LeBron returns next year, we need to find a new center and point guard. Mo and Gibson will fight it out for sixth man, whoever loses the battle will be traded. Powe will be an intricate piece in next year's team as well as Hickson and Jamison, so at the forward spot, we are definitely fine. With our payroll now, it's going to be hard, but we need a point guard and a center. (Assuming Shaq retires). Here's my ideal rotation for next year, if LeBron returns: PG: Delonte West/Daniel Gibson/Sebastian Telfair SG: Anthony Parker/Raja Bell SF: LeBron James/Jamario Moon/Jawad Williams PF: JJ Hickson/Anderson Verajao/Leon Powe C: Al Jefferson?Kevin Love?/Anderson Verajao Trade Mo, Antawn and picks for Love or Jefferson? or some other average-above average guy. And sign a guy like Raja Bell. Make it a run n' gun team. But really, I'm not in the mood to be excited for the 6th playoff run. Still no titles, and at some point enough's enough.

There are so many things that can be said about this. But I'll just say this: If this was LeBron's final home game in Cleveland, then I really don't know what will happen. -
Divisional Forums for Other Sports?
Cleveland's Finest replied to Real Deal's topic in Archived Topics
It would be too many sub forums with not a lot of activity. I like how it is now with just one forum for broad discussion. That's enough imo. Maybe a thread for each division? -
Thank god.....I joined another forum but it just isn't the same. This is the best thing that could've happened after the dilemma.

I really think the Cavs should consider putting in Boobie Gibson if Mo isn't knocking down his shots. I'm surprised Mike Brown hasn't even tried putting him in to spark the team when Delonte, Mo, Jamison, and Bron aren't hitting threes. Thoughts?
-
First, about his injury. Why does he do his signature blocks and shoot the same if his elbow is really hurt? And why does he decide to just get into the game when he wants to and go on a huge run to cut the Celtics lead to ten last night? I want to like LeBron but things like these make me question his motives and if he really cares. And his attitude. I don't know about you guys, but Mike Brown's post game conference is what I want to hear. After the game, he made it clear that the Cavs failed to show up. Meanwhile, LeBron is cool, saying it's going to be a long series. Really? No comments on how your team has failed to prepare and show up at home? You don't have any anger that your team is being shown up by an old Celtics team? (Yet when we had Wally and Ben Wallace starting two years ago, we blew out the Celtics in their prime at home during that series) You guys wonder why our crowds out so quiet. Maybe it's because they expect a playoff performance like the Magic have been giving. They show up night in night out and don't play games. Every Cavs game besides Game 4 in Chicago has been close. It makes me wonder if LeBron is really into this or not. The injury stuff comes up just in time for the first big series against a team that think they can beat us. I really hope LeBron comes out Game 3 on a mission, because his post-game conference left me with the impression that there's no concern. I think losing handily by an old Celtics team at home, especially when you have all of this talent around you, is a concern. I'm not bashing LeBron, I just want to know what he's thinking right now and wish he could send a clear message.

Interested to see how Shaq and Jamison respond with our backs against the wall Game 3. I hope LeBron gets his act together, because if he's going to be indifferent (never seen him play like that or act like that in post game conference), just beat us in 5 and save us the waste of hoping. -
Magic doing as they should. This is what I wanted to see from the Cavs. Hawks just can't play this team imo. Good rebound game for Dwight after a tough Charlotte series.

LBJ goes for the three, just what we need a contested 30 % 3 point shooter. -

Cavs "comeback". Just like that game where LBJ had a massive comeback in Boston. Why does he decide the Cavs should make it a game with too little time left? -

Wow, I've never seen something like this...Seriously, never has something like that happened that I can remember at a Cavs game. You guys wonder why our crowd is so much quieter now. We've been through this song. Making the playoffs isn't a big deal when you come up short so many times.
