  1. The Heat got very lucky with 3 free throws misses by Allen in the final minutes of the fourth.
  2. This is why I said Boozer to Miami. Or it could be a Beasley/Amare swap via FA. But Boozer to Miami seems the most likely. The Suns have a great future and it's all Amare has known. I can't see Amare playing second fiddle to D Wade. He knows if he stays in Phoenix he'll be the franchise player.
  3. Why do people want him gone? Only his second year, where he averaged 14 and 7? For a second year, that's pretty damn good. Why just give up when there's so much more potential?
  4. But we have Jamison. You see the whole third quarter was almost exclusively pick and roll between LeBron and Antawn with Jamison getting a pass when he cut to the basket.
  5. I think that was a make up for the one that didn't count during the regular season in LA.
  6. HOLY [expletive]. FROM HALFCOURT LBJ.....chant MVP to Rose all you want Chicago, but the real MVP is right there in front of you.
  7. We have to win this game. The Celtics are likely going to sweep the Heat or win in 5, so if we lose then we'll have much less time to recover. Also, to be tied 2-2 just won't be good for the team. We need to win road games now and play with awareness.
  8. My favorite part was when they talked about the Laker bench in the first half and then showed the bench and when Adam Morrison was shown he was yawning. This Laker bench is in need of a big man. Let's face it, Odom is their only "big". That's not enough. And their guard play isn't getting it done. I don't see Kobe going off for three straight games so they will need more contribution from Artest and Fisher and the bench in this series. This would be a worse-case scenario for the Cavs today.
  9. I wanna see Mark Cuban's face if the Mavs lose this. Jason Terry is going to have to match Manu today.
  10. Exactly, if someone told me Boston would sweep and Cavs wouldn't, I would be in awe.
  11. I know. LeBron guarded him down the stretch, where he did miss some shots. LeBron needs to guard Rose more though. And Delonte, who is in the top 5 of perimeter defenders in the league, needs to get on him also. Mo said he's up for the challenge though.
  12. Durant's had some impressive dunks. He's getting as high as LeBron does sometimes. That's pretty sick for his age.
  13. Damn, now it's an all white crowd. I wish it was blue again. That blue was so sick. Huge game. Either end the series with a Laker win or make it a new series with an OKC win.
  14. We do need this. However, if we lose Game 4, then I see some room for concern. They need to show that they improved and learned from their mistakes. Shaq's gotta make those close range shots that he's been missing since he's came back. And make free throws please.
  15. I hate this how everyone thinks we're always being helped. You know what, if we were, you'd think the Cavs would have won a title by now? You think LeBron would get more calls at the end of games? But you know what, he doesn't. We still haven't won a ring and it's been seven years. And there's never been that huge controversial call with LeBron and usually he doesn't get the benefit of the doubt. So let's stop this crap like he's cheating the whole league and the Cavs are stealing rings each year.
  16. Ever since Cuban lashed out against the Spurs, it's been a downhill battle. Mavs in a must win scenario for Game 4.
  17. Terrible by Miami. A foul to give and they don't even try to foul Pierce at the top of the key. After getting blown out by 30, I think the Heat deserve to be swept anyways.
  18. Ibaka can play. Never thought he would be this good this early.
  19. The Bulls are a good team....you do realize that they lost 11 in a row, which makes their record a lot worse. During that stretch, Jeremy Johnson and Chris Richard started for this team at one point. Injuries hurt their momentum. And it's very hard to sweep a team dude. 4 straight wins against a team? And I like this. It gives us a test we must overcome. We only lost by two also. Not that bad.....
  20. We were 2nd in defensive points in the paint allowed this year. Just one game....72 points in the paint almost twice what we give up per game. Actually, it is. That in itself is another anomaly. And this is what I want. Last year, we faced a dead Detroit team and a team in the Hawks that was just happy to win a series. Then we got stoop up by actual competition. The difference in the opponents hurt us. Now we're facing a team in the Bulls that is a tough home team that had one of the best and closest series ever against Boston. We need competition on this road.
