  1. Blazers with some nice clutch free throws. I remember last year LA, with nothing to play for, blew out Utah, their opponent in the playoffs, to end the season. I know no Bynum, but still, the Lakers really need to get their act together. I think Gasol may have to be the star for them to repeat again. And Webster was huge in the fourth with that three and the free throws. Miller continues to be the ageless man.
  2. I'm allowed to do something after all the [expletive] you get away with. After your "last thread" you still had the nerve to spam and post a pic of David Stern "not if this man has anything to do about it".
  3. Just wow.......MVP chants, he misses both lmao. Even if the Lakers win that was gold.
  4. If there is such thing as karma, Portland will win this game.
  5. If they call the charge for Vujacic, they better call it for Webster, and they don't. Clearly a charge. And then the illegal screen by Fisher, ramming Webster to the side for a wide open shot for Kobe. Even the homer Laker announcers admitted it. After the harsh calls on Portland in the Dallas game a few days ago, and now this, it's sort of seeming like a trend by the refs on making bad calls in a sequence of plays on Portland.
  6. LeBron took a team of Eric Snow, Sasha Pavlovic, Z, and Gooden as the starters to the finals. That backcourt of Parker, Ford, and Calderon, especially since in their prime, killed anything we had. Just saying.
  7. From what I interpret from the Laker fan here, it seems they want this win bad and want to see their team get back on track. I'd say yes, the game is important.
  8. Besides Odom, I still don't see what's so special about this bench. Especially when you compare it to the benches of Dallas, Denver, etc...I mean Walton is average I guess....yet these commentators say it's better not to have too much depth, then go on to say how this doesn't matter if LA wins or not and they are just fine.
  9. He belongs somewhere else. People put him up there with D Wade and LeBron in this free agency talk, yet what has he done in the playoffs compared to those two. If he's really that good he just needs a change of scenery. I'm excited for this game. Since the Bulls lost to the Nets and the Raptors lost to the Warriors when they had Bosh, it'll be cool to see which team wants it most, if either even want the eight seed at this point.
  10. Brown basically forfeited it by keeping Mo, Antawn, and Andy out in the 4th. Good fun game though. Nice to see Shaq back.
  11. Didn't know where to post this but felt it should be. Someone apparently was shot and killed near the Q in a parking lot right next to the Indians stadium over a very stupid dispute. Right before the Cavs game began. http://blog.cleveland.com/metro/2010/04/cleveland_parking_lot_attendan.html I went to the game and didn't even know. Never heard of something like this and especially in Cleveland. It's usually quiet outside. Sort of scary knowing something like that can happen right near the event.
  12. I'm wondering if the Magic will play their starters also. I hear some places LeBron, Mo, and Antawn will play and some places they won't.
  13. Major fail. Lose to Bogut-less Bucks at home and lose in New Jersey, knowing that they could tie or take the lead for the 8th seed is just terrible.
  14. They'll end up having a terrible record again. I like McCutchen but still, it's a tough division with the Cardinals and the fact that there's six teams. Seems too unlikely. Pirates are cellar dwellers.
  15. Just got back. Close game. LeBron was so funny. He was dancing in between timeouts and it was just hilarious. His son walked over to the bench and he got really mad at his mom for letting him on the bench. Delonte got thrown out. 4 techs on the Cavs. Telfair put up 20 plus, he's a stud.
  16. We've seen him dominate a good defensive team like the Lakers so you can't say there's a solution. Dwight Howard keeps him shooting jumpers somewhat because he's so physical. But other than that, not many others, even if they are physical, can stop him. Such as Artest.
  17. Well we are 74-7 not including the playoffs in the last 2 seasons at home.
  18. http://www.nba.com/cavaliers/news/crowdwave_100407.html
  19. Spurs own the Nuggets in the playoffs, so you shouldn't want that. Why are you Laker fans so worried about Kobe playing or not? If I'm a Laker fan, I'm happy we did all we could to put our team in the best position, got the one seed clearly, and wait for the playoffs for my team to play.
  20. Damn, I wanted to win this. Mo was stunning. And remember, with no Jamison in the final minutes, we didn't really have an option besides Mo down the stretch. Since LeBron, Delonte, Shaq, and Antawn weren't there, and Mo had to be the decoy, it's hard to come up with a play in the final seconds. I wanted them to go to Z. But once Verajao felt like he had the foul, he went up with it. At least he was smart enough to have the idea. And again, free throws Cavaliers. Telfair had a nice game and Moon was great. He has to play in the playoffs. Very frustrating losing the game at Boston and this. I wanted at least one. A win would give the team more confidence. But to see us fight in "high level practice" games is a good sign.
  21. Not because you are a Laker fan. Because you specifically are notorious for posting comments to show up the Cavs fan base. And you don't care about that. Yet one thing happens today to offend you and you're done?
  22. The thread was pointless. Consider it a consequence for the 50 or so posts you've made on this site mentioning LeBron playing for stats with no constructive purpose. Don't get me wrong, I laughed at the magazine cover. But it's something that doesn't belong in that forum.
  23. Well you spammed the gameday thread for the Cavs game tonight so I guess you deserve it.
