Did not know that. If NBC does end up winning I'm interested in how they broadcast the two sports because I would imagine they'd share spme of the same time slots.

Sounds like a blast, would go if I lived nearby. Wish more people lived in/around the Atlanta area so Paul and I could do meetups like this. -_-

SBD: Fox and ESPN have dropped out of the EPL bidding process. NBCU is the clear front runner. BeIN the big question mark. Link coming. — John Ourand (@Ourand_SBJ) October 26, 2012 FOX statement confirms Premier League has decided to go with different media partner for 2013-16. Had bid with ESPN. Surprising. — Grant Wahl (@GrantWahl) October 26, 2012 With no EPL games on Fox Soccer (damn SDTV) I guess I have no real reason to keep it after this season. I believe they do have the 2018 and 2022 World Cup rights, but that's light-years away. Apparently, NBC Universal is the front-runner.

Anyone watched Arrow on CW? Three episodes in and it's great entertainment. Probably my favorite new show of the season. For those who haven't heard of it here's a quick synopsis: It airs on Wednesdays at 8:00 PM ET.

Good stuff man. Just put the Hawks one on.

No one is going to check out your "stat tracker" when you just copy and paste information from major news sites like nba.com, espn, etc. I mean you literally just copy and paste it with absolutely no regard in the world to the person or website who wrote it, which is plagiarism. We have quotation tags for a reason. Until you actually post your own thoughts on the game or some kind of analysis of player x's play during that game I see it as nothing more than post padding. Hell, if someone really cared to find out about player x's stats they'd go to one of the aforementioned sites where they could find anything and everything they need.

Had a chance to catch up yet? Would love to be able to discuss this show with someone seeing as no one else watches it.

http://i.imgur.com/hODfe.jpg That one? Date on it says October 29, 2012. Haven't even opened it to be honest. Speaking of ESPN The Magazine, I finally got around to cancelling it about a week ago. Been getting them for a couple years now (Christmas present one year or something), but I just don't have the time/desire to sit around and read one cover to cover.

Wow, hadn't seen that video before, but it's so true man. Dortmund hosts Real Madrid in a match that could be the deciding factor in who finishes atop the group. With all the injuries Real Madrid has (Marcelo Vieira and Alvaro Arbeloa to just name a few) and the away record they have against German teams (something like one win in the last 23 games), I wouldn't be surprised to see a drew or even a loss. Manchester City faces Ajax in a virtual must-win match if City plans to advance. Despite only being a point ahead of Ajax, City is simply just more talented and I'll predict a 2-1 victory for them. Sorry if all my posts pertain to only Group D, it's just that the two teams I watch and follow the closest (Manchester City and Real Madrid) are in it.

Of course, but it's still impressive nonetheless.

So who is winning? Bearfan keeps asking me and I don't know.

This 3rd inning might never end though.

It just goes show that when you do pick that you tend to do very well.

Tough 4-2 for Spurs against yesterday. Didn't get to watch but the last ten minutes of the match and Spurs definitely had their chances, specifically after Cech's bobble in which Adebayor could've scored and then the shot Walker had shortly after that Cech deflected away. I actually read that Kyle Walker quit Twitter after all the abuse he was receiving from fans. Got to think it's just a matter of time until we see another Ashley Cole like incident. Ran across an interesting chart: http://i.imgur.com/nLaEr.jpg So much disparity for season tickets between the teams at the top of the table and at the bottom it's insane.

How big you thinking?
