1. One lucky boy. The Astros fired manager Brad Mills today. Poor guy was doomed from the beginning.
2. Just watched the Dodgers hit back-to-back-to-back homeruns off Ben Sheets. http://i.imgur.com/TmY6b.png
3. Their success is in the hands of E. J. Manuel and will go only as far as he leads them. Florida State is another team like Georgia that is BCS or bust I feel. Although, Florida State has more pressure on them considering they were also the favorites to win the ACC last year.
4. Here's how I see things panning out. While I do not see Georgia as a BCS Championship-caliber team, I have them going 10-2 and making an appearance in the SEC Championship Game. Now where those two loses come in is tricky. We play at South Carolina which will be tough and the World's Largest Outdoor Cocktail Party is always a tough one too. We could win each of these games and lose two others. Who knows. Other notable games I see are Missouri, Vanderbilt, and JT at the end of the season. It's pretty much BCS or bust this year.
5. 1 USC (25) 2 Alabama (17) 3 LSU (16) 4 Oklahoma (1) 5 Oregon 6 Georgia 7 Florida State 8 Michigan (1) 9 South Carolina 10 Arkansas 11 West Virginia 12 Wisconsin 13 Michigan State 14 Clemson 15 Texas 16 Virginia Tech 17 Nebraska 18 Ohio State 19 Oklahoma State 20 TCU 21 Stanford 22 Kansas State 23 Florida 24 Boise State 25 Louisville Let's get this started. >USC (25) Stanford, Utah, and Washington on the road, plus having probably having to beat Oregon twice to make it into the champions hip. >Georgia not being higher Aaron Murray and a favorable schedule (no LSU, Arkansas, or Alabama). >FSU Will this be the year they actually deliver? >Michigan (1) Would love to know who did this. >SEC Alabama (2), LSU (3), Georgia (6), South Carolina (9), Arkansas (10) and Florida (23)
6. I'd just use the General Soccer thread for stuff like this considering we only have a handful of soccer fans.
7. Who do you root for? Manchester City, Fulham (Clint Dempsey), and Everton (Tim Howard) Who will win the Premier League? A team from Manchester, hopefully Manchester City though. Who will make the top four? Manchester City, Manchester United, Chelsea, and Arsenal. Who will finish in the bottom three? Norwich City, Southampton, and Reading. Who will finish as top scorer? Sergio Aguero or Wayne Rooney. Clint Dempsey is refusing to play for Fulham and was fined earlier today. Don't see him moving anywhere since it seems like Liverpool isn't even interested anymore.
8. Gears of War is pretty fun too.

10. Same boat as well. Have both Xbox 360 and PS3. Only use the PS3 for Netflix since it's in my room. As for the Xbox 360, well, there just isn't a game out that holds my attention for longer than a couple of hours. Hopefully Halo 4 will be that game though.
11. http://i.imgur.com/iiA8S.jpg Maurice Edu tweeted this last night. Good stuff.
12. Since no one posted, HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHA Melky. Got to wonder if they'll take his Camaro ZL1 away that he won for winning the All-Star Game MVP.
13. They are $60 here in retail stores as well, but you can find them MUCH cheaper online so I always buy online. I don't know if Buy.com or Newegg ship to Canada, but I would assume they do.
14. ISHYGDDT. They are regularly between $35-40 online at sites like Buy.com, Newegg, and eBay.
15. Season starts up in just three days and things just more interesting this afternoon with the transfer of Robin van Persie to Manchester United. Time for predictions: Who do you root for? Who will win the Premier League? Who will make the top four? Who will finish in the bottom three? Who will finish as top scorer?
16. Do you watch the games on the Pac-12 Network?
