Yeah, but I gotta give credit where credit is due man. While he was often times a no-show in many important games, he was excellent in others. Thing that bothers me the most is the fact that we are giving up a 6-time All-Star for scrubs and a protected lottery pick, BUT, at least we can start rebuilding this team.

Really don't know what to think about it this point, but would like to thank Joe Johnson for helping turn the franchise around.

Yeah, it's probably the most intriguing final man vote ever. I voted for Michael Bourn earlier today. While it's tough to vote against an all-time great like Chipper Jones and a guy with all the hype around him like Bryce Harper, the game does count (lol), and I feel as though Bourn would give the National League the best shot at winning.

I just feel as though the trade deadline is the deadline for Phillies to sign Hamels with the way negotiations have gone. If Amaro isn't planning on placing that call to Hamels and his agent, mine as well try shipping him out for the best prospect package available and focus on winning in 2013. Would hate to be Amaro, as it's going to be one damn tough decision to make.

The 104 degree weather played to our advantage and got the best of Strasburg yesterday as the Braves finally managed to pull out a win against the damn Nationals. We're now a lowly 2-7 against them this year.

It appears the Rangers are scouting Cole Hamels as a potential trade candidate.

Will be rooting for Balotelli and Italy today. Really wasn't expecting them to get this far. Figured we'd be seeing a Germany-Spain final. Pretty hard to predict a score, especially considering how unpredictable Mario Balotelli is. I honestly wouldn't be surprised to see a draw at the end of ninety minutes though, but I just hope for the sake of the game it doesn't go to penalties.

Looks like the MLS is set on bringing its 20th team to New York City after it released plans to build a soccer-specific stadium in Queens. So much for the South getting a team anytime soon.

Isaiah Crowell was arrested this morning on three weapons charges, two of which are felonies. Earlier this afternoon Mark Richt dismissed him from the team. Crazy to think that he was probably the most valuable recruit Mark Richt has landed at UGA, yet today he has to dismiss him. Quite sad to see young kids with so much talent get involved in things like this.
