Nope. I'm not sure if socialism would work in the U.S., but people have to start realizing that without socialism there would be no public schools, police, roads, military, etc. Pure capitalism would just end up with one company owning all aspects of the private sector, creating an enormous gap between the rich and the poor. It's not a coincidence that the happiest people in the world live in countries with socialist aspects.
