I liked it, but not as much as Role Models.

Eh, well I don't have my camera. That's all I took on my cell phone, along with a couple of pics when I was in L.A. and Malibu with my sister.
-
Edit: Took down the pictures... don't want them on here.

I don't have my camera right now (it's in L.A.), but I have a couple of cell phone pics of the place I stayed at.

I didn't watch the game, but I don't think Mexico played their best players either.

Why would I mention it on a forum about basketball? Are you being serious? I don't need the attention, unlike you. If you're so intent on believing that I'm lying, find the posts then. You're just making [expletive] up without any proof, and telling me I go to Blockbuster, when I don't. What's with the personal attacks? Haha, I guess you've got nothing better to do. I'm not sure why I'm arguing with a kid who thinks he knows movies, when he thinks Taken is an amazing movie. It's sad, really.

Haha, just because I live in Arkansas doesn't mean I can't travel to Utah. There's this thing called an airplane. Got owned right there. Sundance was the first time I watched In Bruges, my favorite movie of 2008. Taken had a preposterous plot, and the only thing it had going for it was that it was very well made and a good performance by Nelson. And once again you're making stuff up, because I barely go to Blockbusters. Most movies I rent from Hastings, and I watch any movie that I want to see in theaters. I only watch modern movies? First of all, that's not true. Second, I wasn't aware that you're tracking down every movie I watch.

Amazing? And you're telling me I don't know anything about movies. When the [expletive] did I tell you I don't go to the theaters? You're making stuff up... I'm not sure if you're aware, but there's this little festival called the Sundance Film Festival.

It's not a horrible movie, but all those movies I listed above are much better in my opinion.
-
How did Taken make that list? Just wondering, have you seen 500 Days of Summer, Big Fan, or Drag Me To Hell?

New Nightmare On Elm Street Poster
OldChili replied to MainEv3nt's topic in Movies and Television Forum
Haha, nice way of backing out of an argument. IMDB is a joke, every movie that comes out now makes it in the top 250. Edit: I'm not sure why you're always like this, but why do you think you're the only movie fan on here? I'm not sure how knowing who directed or wrote what prevents me from "knowing stuff" about movies. -

There's nothing wrong with that, but the difference is that Spike Jonze has directed movies with great screenplays. Being John Malkovich and Adaptation were both written by Charlie Kaufman, who has yet to make/write a bad movie. Even if you have a great director, you can't transform a poor screenplay into a great movie. As for the director of this movie, it will be his first attempt, and usually if you're a first time director doing a remake, the movie will most likely suck. As for the writer, his only movies that are worth mentioning are Cape Fear and Return to Paradise, both of which were over 10 years ago. His recent work consists of The Glass House and Doom, both which are pretty [expletive]ty. Jackie Earle Haley has been in The Bad News Bear, Breaking Away, Little Children, and Watchmen. The first two are pretty old, but are still really good. Sure he's played in [expletive]ty movies, but if you've seen him in Little Children you know he's a great [expletive]ing actor. I'm not trying to find negative things about the movie, I'm just facing the facts. You mind telling me when the last good Freddy movie was? -
I think we'll be fine without him, but I would have loved seeing him as our backup point guard.

Finally someone else with David Robinson in their list, but I don't think Jason Collins has retired yet.

The director for this movie makes music videos. The main writer has only written one good movie, and that's Cape Fear. And the rest are trash such as Doom. And the co-writer has nothing to his credit except this and a prequel to The Thing that's currently in pre-production. At least Jackie Earle Haley is in it. -

Yea it does look simple, but it's solid.

Totally agree, NBA Live 2004 was great.
-
Great game, awesome goals by Drogba and Seedorf.

Swift by far.

They're most likely going to [expletive] it up.
-
I wonder if he's going to start or Blake Griffin.

I like Gallinari; he's a great shooter. Hopefully he'll stay healthy this year.
