I think what he's trying to say is just because you come into a movie expecting crap, and you get crap, doesn't mean the movie is good. And if he doesn't think it's good, that doesn't make him an idiot by any means. Carter has never played on a team with a center quite as dominant as Dwight, or a team nearly as talented as this current Magic roster. His biggest help in the years with the Raptors were Lenard, Antonio Davis, a young T-Mac, Jalen Rose, and Doug Christie. If those players (with the exception of maybe T-Mac) as your second option on offense, that's not a very talented team at all. The Nets had a solid squad for the first few seasons Carter was there, but that team wasn't anywhere near championship caliber.
