  1. It's a good thing that they're getting rid of the preseason games, but I don't want to see them add on to the regular season. The 16-game regular season that we've come to know as it is just feels natural, and the players probably don't want extra games anyways, especially when that means that there are more games for teams with nothing to play for.
  2. Welcome, I dont know you in real life, but stay active and have fun!
  3. Celtics are gonna fail to close out the series tonight, enough said

  10. Now that summer is here, all I usually watch anymore are reruns of older TV sitcoms (not that old obviously), and I gotta admit, they're actually pretty interesting. My favorite ones are usually the ones from the late-90s and the early 2000s, like King of Queens and Friends. Although Seinfeld, which was earlier than this, was prety damn funny If I had to choose one though, I'd probably pick Friends. I also think it's one of the best shows of all time, because it's funny, interesting, and appeals to pretty much everyone. It's one of the few shows that I like watching more than once Although According to Jim is pretty funny as well cuz Andy is so stupid EDIT: Alright, you can vote now

  13. Because the teams from up North basically have a home-field advantage in a game that's supposed to be an even playing field.
  14. That jersey looks tight, I'm not gonna lie. Plus the Rockets need somebody else ever since T-Mac started sucking
  15. The series will be over after this game, quote me on that
  16. I meant for people who actually go to the game, my bad But the best way to convince a non-football fan of the intensity of the game is usually not through a cold weather, defensive struggle game, but rather through a high-scoring matchup, because most people like to watch teams score, regardless of what sport it is.
  17. Actually with the way Shaq's been playing you're probably right lol
  18. Agreed, the Super Bowl is the one game that almost everybody in America - regardless of whether they are a fan of football or not - watch the game, whether it's for the game, the commercials, or the halftime show. Watching the game in cold weather makes it hard for non-football fans to enjoy the experience. Whereas, if it's 75 and sunny, with a 5 MPH wind to the NE, the conditions are perfect for pretty much anyone
  19. I'd say he's borderline HOF. He has 4-5 great years, an amazing prime, and a ring. Surely the ring should get him consideration at the very least
  20. Yep this pretty much sums it up right here It's all about the money. That's why Michael Crabtree held out until 6 games into the season, because he wanted to prove he was worth every penny. Even after missing the first 6 games, he produced more in his first 2 or 3 games than Heyward-Bey, who was picked ahead of him, did the entire season.
  21. In one of the most anticipated offseasons in NBA history, many big name players are becoming available, and recently, one of those is Dirk. According to most people, Dirk will stay in Dallas, even though he opted out of his contract. However, the possibility could open up that he wants a trade to another team in order to have the biggest chance to win a ring with another team, or if another big name player goes to another team. Of course, for NBA players, it's all about the money. But will Dirk be tempted to opt out of playing with the team that he's played with for 12 years? I think he'll probably stay with the Mavs this upcoming season, but anything's possible. If Brett Favre can switch conferences, and even teams within his division, this can happen as well. And I included Knicks because in that one article about 7 key free agency scenarios, the only options were that Dirk stayed on the Mavs, or he went to the Knicks. Also the last poll question was just for fun lol
  22. The only generation I want back is football during the 90s, that era was tight Plus, it was similar to the offensive firepower era of today, except you could actually sack the quarterback without getting a roughing the passer call every [expletive]ing time
