I talk about this a lot with my friend, so I thought I ask other people what type of car they prefer. I made this on CTS as well, and it got good results, so I thought I'd give it a shot here. So vote or post what type of car you prefer. Here are the choices (with pictures!): Small sedan: http://www.tuningnews.net/news/070724a/honda-civic-mugen-si-sedan-2008.jpg Cars like this are like smaller versions of normal cars, like the Honda Civic, which is a smaller version of the Accord, in case you didn't know that, which I'm assuming you did. Mid-size sedan: http://www.ridelust.com/wp-content/uploads/2009_Nissan_Altima_Sedan_5_544x408-500x375.jpg This is like your average car that you see on the streets, like the Nissan Altima. Convertible: http://www.automedia.com/NewCarBuyersGuide/photos/2005/Chrysler/Sebring/Convertible/2005_Chrysler_Sebring_ext_1.jpg These cars have tops that fold down for open-air driving, for example, the Chrysler Sebring. Coupe: http://ui16.gamespot.com/1167/mitsubishi3000gt_2.jpg This type of car has only 2 doors and 2 small seats in the back, like the Mitsubishi 3000GT. Roadster: http://hondagigharbor.com/media/Models/11/2009-Honda-S2000-CR-Blue-Top-Front.jpg This type of small car has only 2 seats, and usually has smaller but more powerful engines, like the Honda S2000. Small SUV: http://edwindsyam.files.wordpress.com/2007/07/ford_escape.jpg These are cars that are seated higher up and are suited for occasionally putting big things in an expanded trunk, like a Ford Escape. Midsized SUV: http://allworldcars.com/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2007/11/2009-nissan-murano-1.jpg These cars are more suited for carrying around a family and are versatile, like the Nissan Murano. Large SUV: http://wayneswheels.net/Giovanna_Canelli_Chevy_Tahoe.jpg These cars usually have a 3rd row of seats and are well suited for towing and carrying items and large groups of people, such as the Chevy Tahoe. Pickup: http://castrolporto.tripod.com/galeria/Dodge_20Ram_20SRT-10_202004_20-_201024x768.jpg These have large beds for towing heavy loads of cargo and have lots of power, such as this Dodge Ram. Once again, I'm assuming you have prior knowledge of most of, if not all of, these cars, but I still described each car above there just in case. I like the hardtop coupes. Right now I drive an '01 Honda Accord, but I'm about to get a Mitsubishi 3000GT when I turn 18. I personally dislike small SUVs because they are higher up and harder to drive than cars, even though they are about the same size. I think that if you're gonna get an SUV, it has to be a decent-sized SUV, or else the concept of SUV is wasted. I didn't include any luxury version cars because obviously everybody would vote for that type of car. Just to clear things up again, you're voting for the TYPE of car, not the example car. I also didn't include minivans or small hatchbacks because I hate those types of vehicles.

McNabb apologizes for not winning ring
Mentch replied to bigdog17k's topic in NFC Conference Discussion
Wow, I wouldn't apologize for not winning a Super Bowl. The guy did the best he could, it's not his fault he tried to make good receivers out of mediocre ones. I mean, when was the last time somebody won a Super Bowl with receivers of the same quality as Freddie Mitchell and Todd Pinkston? Philly fans need to shut up and realize that a quarterback doesn't make a team. McNabb got way too much heat in that city, even after he played on a broken ankle and had a career game. -
Hawks Won't Bring Back Mike Woodson
Mentch replied to The Regime's topic in Atlanta Hawks Team Forum
I would say he's like the Wayne Fontes of the NBA Fontes was a head coach of the Lions from '87-'96. When he was their coach, they went to the playoffs 4 times in a span of 5 years, including the NFC Championship game in 1991, and they won 2 division championships. They had only made the playoffs 4 times in the last 20 years before he was their head coach. He was fired after the '96 season after a 4-2 start turned into a 6-5 record, and then the Lions lost their last 5 games and missed the playoffs at 6-10. They never won big with him, but at least he gave them consistency. After he left, the Lions made the playoffs only 2 more times, and in 2000, a late-season collapse changed the franchise forever, leading it to where it is right now. -

Mentch replied to The Regime's topic in Atlanta Hawks Team Forum
wow, haven't posted in this forum in a while lol but anyways, the hawks were crap before he got there, at least he managed to turn them into a respectable NBA franchise -
Hmmm well since nobody's really done any yet since the site reopened, can I have a go at this? lol

Obviously as a teenager, you're gonna do stupid things and annoy the crap out of people, but probably the most enjoyable out of these is blasting music from your car with the windows open, especially at night lol. For me, it's gotta be Bad Romance by Lady Gaga. Even if you don't like her music, everyone knows what that song is and you can't go wrong with it. People will instantly look at your car and be like, "Wow, those teenagers are so cool." XDDDDDD Seriously though, I brought this up because the other day I was driving with my friends in the car and we were listening to the radio and that song came on the radio, so when we got to the stoplight he was like "We should blast this song" and I was like "Go for it!". So we did that at every stoplight we got to haha. A good song would be either that or a popular rap song, such as "My Chick Bad" or pretty much any Ludacris song haha

Ok in this thread, I'll post new things to rank every day (like similar things that you can compare and argue about). It's basically a thread just for fun, but it's still fun to rate these. Basically what you do is rank your first choice first and your last choice last, it's that easy. Remember to take everything into account, including price and value and whatever else you might need to. Oh yeah and I'll update it every day. It's supposed to be one of those threads like the "what are you thinking thread," like, one of those that's just supposed to be fun. And here's the first list. Rank these popular luxury SUVs based on preference, taking everything into consideration: - Chevy Tahoe - GMC Yukon - Cadillac Escalade - Lincoln Navigator - Ford Expedition Note: this is assuming that you are buying the standard car without additional features

Rumor: Kurt Warner May Retire Following Playoffs
Mentch replied to The Regime's topic in NFC Conference Discussion
It's clear that Warner can still play in the league, why should he retire? Leinart sucks, every time he steps in, he throws picks, no joke. -
No One Can Tell Me that Peyton Manning Deserves the MVP
Mentch replied to Mentch's topic in AFC Conference Discussion
Eh, I know that, but I agree with this guy's points, and I was actually using it as evidence, not just an article. If I was quoting it as a news article, then yeah, I see your point. But I wasn't. Just wanted to clear that up. And I don't think that Manning deserves the MVP, which led me to make this thread. -
Just came across this article on Bleacher Report: http://bleacherreport.com/articles/320917-top-10-greatest-seasons-by-a-wide-receiver#page/11 Do you agree with all of it? I do, except I think that Jerry Rice's 1987 campaign should be on it.

if we're talking shutdown corners then its Aso. hes been so effective in shutting down receivers that he hardly ever gets the chance to make big plays anymore cuz hes rarely thrown at

Has anyone else found a list of the alternates for the Pro Bowl? I can't find em anywhere. Well, whoever you can find, preferably your team, post them on here and I'll keep an updated list. It would also help if you could specify their team, position, and if they're 1st, 2nd, or 3rd, but names are acceptable as well. Here's what I have so far: AFC QB - Matt Schaub - HOU RB - Thomas Jones - NYJ (1st) FB - Vonta Leach WR - Vincent Jackson - SD TE - Zach Miller - OAK G - T - D'Brickashaw Ferguson - NYJ (1st) C - DE - Richard Seymour - OAK DT - OLB - Bart Scott - NYJ (1st) ILB - David Harris - NYJ (2nd) CB - Antonio Cromartie - SD FS - SS - P - Mike Scifres - SD KR - Jacoby Jones - HOU NFC QB - Donovan McNabb - PHI (1st), Tony Romo - DAL (2nd), Kurt Warner - ARI (3rd), Eli Manning - NYG (4th) RB - Ryan Grant - GB FB - WR - Steve Smith - NYG (1st) TE - Brent Celek - PHI G - T - David Diehl - NYG (1st), Chad Clifton - GB C - Chris Snee - NYG (1st) DE - Justin Tuck - NYG (3rd) DT - OLB - Clay Matthews - GB (1st) ILB - AJ Hawk - GB CB - Sheldon Brown - PHI FS - SS - P - KR - Johnny Knox - CHI (2nd), Domenik Hixon - NYG (3rd)

The Packers play the Ravens, the Bears, the Steelers, and the Cardinals, all on the road. I don't see them winning any of those games.
