1. Adrian Peterson 2. Chris Johnson 3. Maurice Jones-Drew 4. Jamaal Charles 5. Steven Jackson Honorable mentions to Arian Foster, Michael Turner, Ray Rice, and Rashard Mendenhall. You can see I love Jamaal Charles. The running back position is a young mans game, a show me what you've done lately position because of the glamour and high failure rate once bodies start to age around 28 or 29. Charles was criminally underused by Todd Haley (what's new?) but still produced. Only McFadden and Lesean McCoy had less carries in the top 15 in rushing and they both were at least a yard behind per YPC to Charles. He's explosive, he makes plays and he racks up yards all while being fresh. It's insane that he was 2nd in rushing despite 230 carries. Steven Jackson is one of my favourite backs because he does it all. Picks up the blitz wonderfully, good receiver and he's a violent runner (could be seen a negative I suppose).

I just watched that goal against Brazil. What the [expletive] is that goalie doing. Absolutely retarded.

MLS: The 4th most popular US pro sports league?
The Great iBoldin replied to Lkr's topic in Soccer Forum
Whitecaps tickets go as low as 20 bucks, they're really cheap. You can find fairly cheap Canucks tickets on like a Monday night vs. the Devils or something, but expect to pay top dollar for most nights, especially games like Toronto and Montreal. -
MLS: The 4th most popular US pro sports league?
The Great iBoldin replied to Lkr's topic in Soccer Forum
No, the NHL is much more prosperous and popular then the MLS and it's not even close. And I'm a big fan of MLS with the Whitecaps and Timbers coming in. -
I watched Valanciunas exclusively in that American game you posted on Youtube, and you can tell this kid is going to be good. I'm listening to Dwayne Casey interview on the Fan 590 I believe (whatever radio show is on Sportsnet in the evening) and the way Casey talks about how you carry yourself, personality traits, hard work and the right attitude makes me believe JV will be an all-star while he's with Toronto. You see Valanciunas "gets it" on defense. His footwork is very nice, he's very long and moves well. He's physical and that's seemingly how he seems to pick up those fouls. It's just the little things he does. He leads his defenders into traffic when he's closing out. His head is always on a swivel, active in rotations. I love that Toronto picked this kid up, because he's going to be a very good player. Plus BFT has really pumped JV up haha.

James Harrison Rips Goodell And Teammates
The Great iBoldin replied to EastCoastNiner's topic in NFL Football
Well that's because Rodney Harrison is a clown, but the irony is strong in that one. They're both idiots. -
1. Stanley Cup Finals Game 7. So close, injuries really derailed our chance. Just ran out of steam. 2. Pittsburgh/Arizona Super Bowl. Those are probably the only ones. Which says a lot about the teams I support lol.

1. Tom Brady 2. Peyton Manning 3. Drew Brees 4. Aaron Rodgers 5. Philip Rivers It's tough. Tom and Peyton both had somewhat rough years, Brady struggled with the psychological part of the game while Manning didn't get the protection needed for him to go through his reads that makes him such a dangerous and successful player. Brees I think will have a nice bounce back year, and you know what you're going to get from him. I still think Rodgers and Rivers are 4a and 4b. Rivers and Rodgers play in great offensive systems but I think Rodgers has a little more potential to do more statistically, plus I like his intangibles a little more. Rivers comes off as very whiny and egotistical, but I love the way he plays football. Still put him over Roethlisberger despite Big Ben being a winner.

What are we basing it on? Last years production and not much on anything before hand? Or overall production? Because lists will largely vary depending on that.

Casey Anthony Trial
The Great iBoldin replied to EastCoastNiner's topic in Off-Topic Discussion Forum
http://i129.photobucket.com/albums/p233/macphistoz/270685_519938403486_137501274_30445835_1925795_n.jpg Haven't really followed this much seeing as it's not covered too much in Canada, but there's your (seemingly) answer as to why Casey Anthony was found not guilty I suppose. [expletive]ing stupid. How is she not even guilty of Child Neglect? Is this real life? -
Jesus that was awful. I`m Canadian and even I know all the words to the American anthem. That was one of the worst things I heard in my life (srs).

Huge deal, Heatley for Havlat. Cot dayum I love the NHL offseason.
-
I would take Team A in all likelihood.
-
Montreal just paid way over the top for Erik Cole. I like Erik Cole, but he's not worth 4.5 a year. Good God. Washington also just shelled out 6.5 for Hamrlik (lol) and Joel Ward. At least they made up for it with the Varlamov robbery.
-
Bieksa's was fine. With the cap going up we had money to spare and he was a great player for us this year. 4.6 > the 6 million he was going to get on the Free Agent market. Bieksa and Hamhuis work very well together and come in at the same price, I'll take that everyday of the week. Consistent, tough and a shutdown pairing with offensive skills.
-
Also Detroit gave Jonathan Ericsson 3.25 million a year. Turrible, just turrible. Ericsson blows.
-
It doesn't affect me in any way so I don't really care about that. But I do think circumventing the cap like that was blatant and obvious and anyway the NHL sees punishable is the way they're going to call it these days.
-
I don't necessarily have a problem with it, but Kovalchuk's was obviously circumvention and those are the kind of deals the NHL should be looking at. It's Buffalo's choice whether they want to extend a 10 year offer to Ehrhoff, which I don't think he deserves.
-
You can, it will just get ripped to shreds because people are judgmental and biased towards players and teams. You pretty much have to validate talent, what they've done and what they mean to their team. But it's incredibly hard to do a top 10 list.. maybe I will do another top 50 list? That'd be fun.
-
Hey come on ECN, you do that already!
-
Me too, I love me some Pierre. I guess this means he will not be doing the WJC's? Consequences will never be the same.
-
Very happy with our pick. From everything I have read Jensen is a great value and he ripped up the OHL this year. Very happy, Gillis and company are very good drafters.
-
I agree, also Business of Hockey seems to have a few intelligent people. Most of the Canucks fans are [expletive]in' retarded and give the rest of the fanbase a terrible name.
-
HFBoards has to be the least knowledgeable and overreacting place I have ever visited. It's so weird. You have the few people who actually know what they're talking about then you go on to the trade proposals and find these gems: TO FLORIDA: 1st Overall (RNH) Sheldon Souray late pick (5-7 round) TO EDMONTON: 3rd Overall (Larsson or Couturier IMO) Dmitry Kulikov To Rangers: Bobby Ryan To Ducks: Artem Anisimov, Chris Kreider, Michael Del Zotto, and 1st Round Pick (2011) Tor Kulemin, Kessel Pittsburgh Malkin
