  1. http://chezcommanche.c.h.pic.centerblog.net/7vjdn109.jpg Sort of looks fake, sort of looks like a man. Take your pic.
  2. I don't think where you go to school should have any resemblance on what school you cheer for. Getting an education and ultimately a job from a place you want to go is totally irrelevant to which sports team you like.
  3. I'm going to a smaller liberal arts school in Quebec, Bishop's University. Mainly to have a chance to play lacrosse in university.
  4. The people who casually watch UFC don't like how GSP fights because he's very methodical and doesn't rush anything. He doesn't have a lot of knockout power, but he's one of the best technicians in the UFC, the most well rounded fighter in his weight class and probably pound for pound top three in the world. I have no problem with the way he fights because his game plans are impeccable and he goes out and he finishes them to a tee. Shields got him pretty good a couple of times, but GSP continually stuffed Shields' garbage take down attempts, kept his jab continual and on target and had an arsenal filled with that take down defense, that spinning kick and the overhand right. He fought a very sound, yet safe fight. I don't think the Spider would "end" him, but I don't think GSP would win. He'd give up too much in weight and he's not the fighter for Spider. If they do it, it'll be purely for ratings. As a GSP fan, I'd rather him not fight Spider because I think his chin won't be able to handle that power and it might mentally take him down a couple of notches. Then again, he's got nothing else to prove at 165. I guess we'll see, but I don't want to see GSP fight Silva.
  5. OK, if ECN wants to get excited for one pick in the later rounds, it's that one. One of the steals of the draft so far, Cannon has cancer and that dropped him down from a probable Chicago pick in the late first down to the middle of the fifth round. Left Guard of the next 10 years I'm thinking.
  6. Arizona went through a spell where everyone was always picking the Cardinals to make the playoffs. Every year the Cards would fail expectations and they'd fall flat on their face. Public opinion of the Cardinals then went down, and with no pressure, Arizona made the playoffs and the Super Bowl. I'm not saying we could see an exact replica of that for Houston, but it's a very similar situation. I could see Houston making the playoffs with the moves they've made, they picked up two very, very good players for their 34 in Watt and Reed. Two corners in Harris and Carmichael that are quite good. So they're doing the right things to tool that defense up and make it tough for Indy and the like to pass and run. Indianapolis is on the downswing, Jacksonville is an unknown after last season and Tennessee is an enigma. Any different year a team steps up and challenges Indianapolis, this year is Houston in my opinion.
  7. By the end of this draft I think it'll be hard to grade teams with a C or below, a lot of teams have had either solid drafts or very good drafts due to the wealth of potential and ability shown by a lot of these players. Creates parity, which I love to see in Professional leagues.
  8. [expletive] I love watching the Grizzlies play. They don't have anything to lose and guys like Randolph, Gasol, Battier, Arthur, Vasquez, etc. just play so scrappy, so in your face. It's awesome to watch. They clearly don't have the talent of San Antonio but they just roughed the Spurs up in the paint and punched them in the mouth. Duncan couldn't take it all series, and I don't know whether Perkins and Ibaka have what it takes right now to take these guys in the back alley for seven games.
  9. Mallett has more then one documented case of drinking, and it's been confirmed by more then enough sources in the media (Schefter had tweets on it, Arkansas newspaper and his teammates have gone out and said it). But I guess he's good enough to stash on the bench for 3 or 4 years to recoup a better pick. I just don't see the point when you have Brady and a development guy in Hoyer already. But Mallett is going to be a good player so it's irrelevant I suppose. I thought Washington and Kansas City have both had the best drafts so far.
  10. Green Bay takes Randall Cobb, awesome pick for them.
  11. I got Tampa and Boston in the East, Vancouver and Detroit in the West.
  12. FEEEEEEEEEEEELLLLLLLL IT BOYS. COME AT US CHICAGO.
  13. I know I am. I'll just never get rid of it now. He looks horrible.
  14. I have 5-3 'Nucks, empty net goal. I've never been more nervous for anything in my entire life though. Biggest game for the Canucks besides Game 7 1994. Ben Smith, Toews and Campbell for the Hawks. Kesler, Hansen, Henrik, Ehrhoff and Burrows empty net for Vancouver. Let's hope I'm right.
  15. Habs-B's Game 7. Philly looks like they're on their way to win up 4 donut with 17 mins. left.
  16. Your username is awesome. Classic Costanza.
  17. Canuck fans are very arrogant, ignorant and cocky, mainly on HFBoards and CDC, but there are still quite a few fairweather fans. I think it's mainly because we've never won a Cup before and we have such a good chance to if we beat Chicago. We can beat Nashville and Detroit, they don't worry me much. It's seriously our best chance since 94 and before that 82.
  18. It's obviously not a conspiracy, but the discrepancy between penalties is ridiculous (how do we accrue 12 more penalties in a series that's been physical between both teams?) and that half breakaway was questionable at best. Either way, I find it comical. We played a great road game and dominated Chicago in overtime. It's also kind of funny to see Luongo/Schneider drama unfold. If Schneider is able to play on Tuesday I'd rather play him, he deserved it. Luongo's been fantastic all year, and was very good in the first 3 games, but he just can't play Chicago. I have no clue what it is. He just blows against Chicago with anything on the line. Schneider, other then his stickhandling gaffes, was routinely good tonight and isn't playing with any demons in his head. I really do think the Canucks deserved a better fate tonight. Hopefully we can win Game 7 and get the Hell out of this series. I posted that on another forum. We dominated Chicago for about 90% of the game, Crawford was very good and Chicago had absolutely zero pressure save for a few shifts in the playoffs. They didn't deserve to lose tonight. Kesler and Burrows finally got there shit together, but Salo was out in the first and Alberts wasn't great. [expletive]. [expletive]. [expletive]. [expletive]. [expletive]. If we lose, i'm going to absolutely laugh/be embarrassed at the same time. Except I don't think we will. We'll see I suppose.
  19. I know a lot of people bag on Matt Damon, but he has to be one of my favorite actors of all-time. I still watch the Bourne movies every so often, and the classics such as Good Will Hunting (one of my top-5 favorite movies) are really enjoyable. Great actor.
  20. I think Seabrook just has the chin of a 7 year-old girl lol. See the Anaheim hit, looks like he died.
  21. The Canucks aren't playing as physical as the first three games. They're keeping the intensity high, they aren't finishing there checks. Complacency after being 3-0 I suppose does that. I expect them to come out guns a blazin' in Game 6 and hopefully take it. However I'm a little nervous after not showing up these last two games. I don't expect Edler to get suspended for that. But who knows what Colin Campbell will spin on his board of guesses? Could be anywhere from 1 to the rest to the playoffs with this clown. If you're calling Torres a piece of shit because of the Seabrook hit, then lol. Or even the Eberle hit. You of all people, who always talk about toughness and old school hockey, should know Seabrook should learn to keep his head up. It was correctly called on the ice. 2 minutes for interference. It actually got Chicago riled up, so whatever. Could be the turning point in the series. It was nothing but a great check.
  22. I think basketball pundits were right. Paul really was just sleepwalking through the regular season. Put on a performance for the ages today. In before ECN tears down Chris Paul.
  23. I believe OK Arena only seats 18,200 or something around there, so it`s practically a sell-out for the Thunder. Much lower then many other arenas in the league.
  24. He had 8 in the first game which led the Canucks, I think he'd be closer to 15 then 25. At least he's doing his part so I can't complain, he's played well.
